Nice Site, short walk to the beach, but better beaches ie North Beach and Castle Sands require a car. Site was clean, toilet blocks fine, on site entertainment and facilities very good but then you pay for this in the site fee. Cost us £35 per night (caravan + electric) so only makes sense if you intend to use the facilities.

Probably wont bother going back to this site due to the price.

Bit of a disappointment.
Long check in queues.
Noisy at night
Only one toilet/shower block for hundreds of campers
Insufficiently staffed shop
Small playground for such a large site
Very few pavements making it unsafe to let young children loose

On the plus side entertainment was fine
Beach is 10 min walk but difficult with a pushchair as you need to walk over sand dunes to get to it.

Probably a good site out of peak season but in peak season don't bother unless you like queueing at the shop, swimming pool, shower etc

Just got back from this site and my 2 kids aged 10 and 5 are already asking when we can go back, the site is ideal for young families, lots to do for the kids.
The site is very clean and tidy and the toilets and shower blocks were of a very high standard, the site was very busy and in the summer holidays I can imagine it being quite frantic?
If you are looking for a quiet break then this site is not for you, If you want to keep the kids amused in the childrens clubs (Bradley Bear & Rory the Tiger) then this is the place for you.

Just come back from Kiln Park, as virgin caravanners so you may need to take this review with a pinch of salt as we have nothing to compare it to!! We can only speak as we find. Arrived on Friday evening, found our pitch and the friendly warden, once we told him it was our first trip, explained where we should park etc. Not many caravans there, were quite scattered about but the statics looked busy. It was very quiet and peaceful, woke up to just the birds. Showers openend at 8am, my husband and son went at 8.30 and I went at 9am. They were spotless and I was the only one in there. However, there were only about 10 so I can see that at peak times it would struggle to cope. You had a lovely big cubicle, could have taken a buggy and a couple of kids in there with me. They were free you just had to pay for hairdryers. It was lovely to walk through the dunes onto the beach and walk on into Tenby town centre. Heard a slight bit of noise during the night from the statics sounded like drunken boys getting back at 4pm, but then it was 6 Nations weekend. It wasn't very loud and didn't last more than 5 minutes. All in all We enjoyed our stay and found it very relaxing. Didn't use the pool or the entertainment as on reading the programme it wasn't our cup of tea. We paid extra for a superpitch (£28 for 2 nights as opposed to £26 for a normal serviced pitch) I wouldn't bother again.

Awful Awful Awful. We would have to be dragged back here kicking and screaming! Now, we can understand how some people would love it but it just wasn't what we wanted. No order to the pitches and everyone just pitched up anywhere. We booked for the weekend and just stayed the Friday night and left, we couldn't stand it!

We were next to an all male twenty something party who constantly played dance music through their car stereo full blast. Later in the afteroon their car battery was flat and they had the nerve to ask us did we have jump leads, we nearly laughed in their faces! I should have blasted Barbara Striesand through my car radio!

The complex looked good. We like a bit of fun as much as the next person, but all I can advise is if your like us and you'd like to take the action or leave it, dont go here it'll be thrust in your face whether you like it or not!

left the tent at home booked a caravan through a newspaper deal and upgraded to silver olympic. We didn't have a good start, they put the first ones of our party to arrive in the wrong caravan so we lost the first evening waiting for each other to arrive!! (compensated with free burgers).

The caravan was fine but no view or to be honest atmosphere, there was just rows and rows of little boxes interspaced with no ball games signs.

Good sized club house with nice pool but very busy especially on Saturday night and you have to run the gauntlet of slot machines and a burger bar to get to the entertainment, once in there is another 'shop' selling large amounts of plastic toys, sugar and E numbers to the kids, so take a large wallet or a strong resolve.

Talking of money stay away from the bar meals, £25 for 2 kids meals an insipid looking steak and ale pie and a luke warm chilli, which took almost an hour to arrive, in all fairness we were refunded and fed more burgers!!

Great site if you like lots of unrully kids high on burgers and fizzy pop, sitting in rows playing bingo, being entertained by the ones that didn't quite make it to a butlins red coat, playing slot machines and overdosing on burgers.

I cannot say it was terrible, lets face it you are in a beautiful part of West Wales, but I think we will be back under canvas next season with fewer rules and security staff and on a much less commercialised site.

We were told at reception to read the rules about pitching our tent carefully, which we did and dutifully paced out the required amount of space specified, only to return to our site a little later to find another tent pitched far closer than 6 metres! The pitches are not marked out on the touring tent site and it is very higgledy piggeldy with guy ropes like cats cradles - not safe atall. A vain attempt to keep the showers and toilets clean was made, but the blocks were really not adequate for the size of the site (and the showers closed at 8.00)- and you couldn't decide to opt for a strip wash at the basins because male staff worked in the block too. Our first night, a Saturday, was horrendously noisy but it was quieter the rest of the week. The outside pool was pleasant with a BBQ if you were peckish.

Went to this site touring with a tent. I feel the amenities are not large enough to cater for the size of the park, the pool was extremely busy at all times. The indoor play area was tiny and unsupervised and as a consequence older children were running around and the smaller children who the play area was aimed at did not get a look in. It rained during our stay and the fields were constantly flooded. The drainage is virtually non existant. We found the site very expensive, and would never consider going there again.

nice park. Caravan could have done with a clean, but overall not to bad.
