Lovely clean pitch, clean facilities and plenty of them, entertainment on site, included in the price of your pitch, including indoor and outdoor swimming pool which were excellent.

Plenty for my three young boys to do, football pitch, crazy golf, plenty of indoor activity. The food available on site was really excellent especially food in restaurant.

Plenty going on, ideal if it's sunny or rainy. Would stay here again, the only down side was that the tents were all very close together so not a lot of room for the children to play outside the actual tent

On arrival a very friendly welcome from the wardens who directed us to the pitch. We managed to get on earlier than the scheduled 12:00 check in.

Pitch size are just about ok although we did park our car in the car park when the site was very busy.

Showers were clean and very hot all the time with plenty of them so no queues. Toilets were ok but sometimes could have been a bit cleaner.

A big site with a lot of static caravans. However loads of activities going if you want to entertain the kids. The outside pool was heated. We didn't use the indoor pool as the weather was good. Shop on site was very expensive but in Tenby there is a Sainsbury's and a Tesco Express.

Beach 15 minute walk with children and beach stuff. Tenby Town centre about 20-30minutes stroll along the golf course.

We also went to Blue Lagoon on one dull day which was a smaller version of Center parcs. Also Oakwood theme park which was great for children of all ages includes us adults.

Tenby beaches and town were lovely with a good range of food on offer.

We have just arrived home after our second visit to Kiln Park and once again we loved it.

If you book carefully you can get significantly reduced rates by signing up to the mailing list Haven have available.

We booked 4 nights on a super pitch - although we only used the electric - it was handy having our own water point though.

This is very much an all weather family park - there's lots of activities on site and nearby, the cycle and footpaths in the area are amazing, the views are fantastic. The outdoor pool in summer is a bonus - although they did close the pool during a shower of rain(?) It is immaculately clean and the grass is kept short and the flower beds tidy.

On the down side - at peak times it all feels a little crowded - but that's really to be expected - and the toilet block was rather smelly - although it is kept very clean for the amount of traffic through there the drains seem to be struggling to cope.

And finally - 'the birds' seagulls and crows are a bit of a plague - don't leave anything out that looks remotely like food - they shred rubbish bags and shower stuff everywhere - usually at about 4am. It doesn't help that people actually feed them!

In Tenby town (or Balamory as my kids called it) there are lots of reasonably priced food pubs, and plenty of restuarants if you want something a little more fancy. There are a number of fish and chip shops inside the walled town.

The most beautiful clean beach is just a five minute walk from the camp and the kids and dog spent many a happy hour playing in the sand and rock pools. It almost felt like being somewhere like spain!

The mackerel fishing is great fun from the dock - although we didn't have much luck - the views from the sea are worth the trip out.

If you have children over 7 I would fully recommend Battlefield Live - a few miles out of Tenby - its like paint balling but without the pain - kids and adults in the forest shooting each other with lasers - my boys said it was the best part of the holiday!

We will be back to Tenby again - it is one of the most beautiful towns I have ever seen - probably at Easter when it is not quite so busy.

Went to Kiln Park for 3 nights this Easter Hols. Booked a super grass with elec and water, for £28.50, which was a great price seeing it included the entertainment.

Good meet and greet by warden. We were given a pitch right by the toilet block which was a really bad mistake, a thoroughfare through from all people using loos and on their return from ents at night, extremely noisy from early hours (people wheeling their elsan units on the tarmac, very noisy and smelly) through to chuck out time at the club and people not caring that it was past 1am.

The site was exceptionally clean. No rubbish around, the toilets were mostly VERY clean, they had a team of 3 nice people on from early morning until 7pm (why close at that time I really don't know). Wash up area spotless. Showers sadly were only one temp which was very hot, not suitable for kids when the majority of guests are under 10. More of a direct jet than shower but that might have been the one which I used. Very welcome heaters in day showers, not in 24 hr ones.

Be prepared also for bins being emptied at 4am, for lazy people who can't be bothered to walk to the toilets and need to be driven at 6am (keeping the engine going/ revved up, cheers for that) and the seagulls/ crows who will happily go through your rubbish bags or nick food left out of the front whilst you cook, we lost a box of eggs and pasta even whilst we were sitting outside with our backs turned!

Play area good for little ones, the staff have also built a mini golf but no clues as to where to get putters, balls or cost so no one using it. Teenagers do hang around there at night. The indoor pool was small, we didn't use as it is overlooked by the bar, and I didn't fancy being on view like that. The Mash pub, food was fine but had to wait well over an hour for it (with a hungry 5 year old. Not good), the adult meals arrived and then kids meal didn't come until 10-15 after, whilst other tables were being served! of course ours were cold as we waited and fed all bread & chips to keep him going. The waitress who we complained to sorted this out promptly and was very good, but its not the point. First night there, very bad impression.

Entertainment, take or leave it really, be prepared for cheese however the kids do love it! We go to Butlins every year, purely for our son to enjoy, and Haven just don't have a patch on what B produce. Also the amount of CCTV cameras, they are everywhere! Felt like I was being snooped on rather than there for protection, there was even one in the ladies loo. I counted over 60 in the main venue.

The area is great for touring, lots of other camp sites to choose from next time! The beaches are beautiful, our personal favourites were Saundersfoot and Broad Haven.

We did enjoy our break, because we made the most of what we had, we will not be visiting again, mostly because of the size of the site (too big for us) and inconsiderate other users.

Just returned for a midweek stay. We booked a super grass pitch (which should have had drainage), but as it turns out none of them do. Also we made sure they knew it was a twin axle, and yes you guessed it when we got there and they didn't know it was a twin axle, so had to squeeze on the already small pitches.

Now this site is selling out a bit and is one of the most over crowded sites I have been too (see previous review about the toilet block and pitches right next to it, just wrong).

The entertainment is fine and is great for the kids, food is average at best, usual burger rubbish.

It just seems that Haven entry requirements too the touring area are people with no social awareness. You MUST expect noise (music shouting, swearing) late into the night, yes its a bit rough.

Booked for 5 nights stayed for 3. Agree with previous reviews not what I expected from a Haven Site.

Had booked a grass electric hook up pitch but on arrival at site we were unable to access this area as entrance and road throughout area was a mud bath.

We upgraded ourselves as no warden was available to a super grass pitch usually used by caravans.

After a night of rain this pitch along with several caravan awnings also ended up flooded with several inches of rain which then turned to mud. We were lucky that our tent has a sewn in ground sheet otherwise a lot of equipment could have been damaged not to mention the electric hook up danger.

We held out for 3 days but with the forecast of further rain decided to leave early rather than run the risk of further flooding and trying to pack away equipment is such bad conditions.

Toilets were cleaned every morning but still managed to remain dirty and smelly and for some reason only half were in use as the others were kept locked. In need of an update.

Children loved the entertainment in the club but unfortunately because the site was so muddy they could not play outside the tent even when it was dry weather. Another problem around the whole of the site is that there are no foot paths to walk on so you are forever dodging cars as they pass again not ideal with small children.

The swimming pool was ok but again changing rooms in need of an update only one shower and four changing cubicles in total and two of those were out of use as they had been used as a public toilet. Hence a long cold wait to get changed.

Shop had very limited supplies with half the shelves and the freezers empty suspect this is because its coming to the end of season although people still need to eat.

I have many years experience of camping in all seasons and weather and know October's not the best month but reading the previous reviews this site seems to flood throughout the year pity I did'nt read it first before I booked.

Tenby and the surrounding area are lovely and I will be going back for another visit just not to this site.

Spent 2 weeks at Kiln Park near Tenby, we had high expectations as it's a Haven holiday park. We paid over £600 for an EHU pitch for our Hartford XXL and 2 cars, to find that you were only allowed one car beside your pitch; and that the pitches were not pre-allocated. We eventually found a pitch that we could just about squeeze into (none of the pitches were defined and other users had spread out considerably).

The toilet block was generally clean - until the rain started and the camping site turned into marshland. It rained non-stop and within 24 hours the pitches were under several inches of foul smelling mud and water. The reinforced grass road between the pitches was now an off-road test track for 4x4s.

After a few days of standing water / mud, the seams on our tent finally had enough and started to leak, and our carpet (yes we're Glampers), became sodden, not ideal as the electric box was on it. The reception staff said that a lack of drainage was to blame for the standing water and there was nothing they could do about it.

We managed just over one week, before insisting on moving off the pitches, the duty manager found us an 'owners' static caravan for the remainder of our holiday and I must say, it was luxury getting up in a dry environment.

The leisure facilities on the park were good and the entertainment enjoyable, the local area had plenty to offer and the beaches were lovely. The children's play area was not suitable for babies, as all the equipment was for older children - not even a single baby swing. The shop was well stocked and surprisingly not too pricey. The lauderette on the other hand was ridiculously overpriced.

We have camped in the rain many times and love the sound it makes on the tent, but when the inside of your tent is soaked, it puts a dampener (no pun intended) on the experience. Overall, the water/mud filled field spoilt the holiday, we were on a Haven site after all and not at Glastonbury; so we won't be returning to this site again - not in a tent anyway.

On arrival we saw no sign for tourers, so we followed the signs for reception. Big mistake because there was nowhere to park 2 cars with caravans on the back, resulting in our party blocking the road,to the sound of car horns being bibbed irately,(well done haven). We never met a warden all week, and security was non existant. We were pitched on the super hard standing pitches, but other campers were quick to point out to us that this new section had been built on a flood plain, and all there awnings had been flooded out. We pitched up and found plastic mesh had been laid down before the grass (obviously a measure to save the grass) resulting in the land being very uneven the drains on our 2 pitches smelled disgusting all week despite attempts with disinfectant. We found the pitches to be very close together, which made the place look like a council estate, made with caravans.

The toilet shower block was run down and I could only describe it as resembling a dairy cattle shed in the mornings (some people seem to be such animals). Park shop was way over priced a packet of hob knobs was over £2 (2 for a £1 at our local asda). We eventually found that there had been a proper touring reception area which was not signed and was closed.

We have just returned from Kiln Park and well having read all the review I can agree with them the toilet and shower block for tent and tourers is awful!

On our arrival we were greeted by the touring area like a mud bath, I know we cant trust the British weather but it was bad ! but the Warden was extremely helpful in finding us a dry area and also a long enough cable for our hookup.

If your thinking of staying here I would recommend either the Supergrass or Hardstanding touring pitches

The location of site very good and within easy walking distance to the beach.

The entertainment area is located in easy reach of the touring area there is a newly built area within called 'Mash and Barrel' which is where you can eat or drink, prices were reasonable.

We would recommend a visit to Folly Farm which is an excellent day out !

New for this year is Water Walkerz great for the kids located in either the indoor/outdoor pools £5 for five minutes though, but hey kids enjoyed it.

So would I recommend it,. As long as you pitch on hardstanding then yes, but myself would recommend a smaller site which the staff would cater more for your needs.

Large flat site, located 15 min. Walk to South beach and 25 min. Walk to Tenby town centre, where there is a large selection of shops and pubs/eateries. There is a small outdoor pool as well as a small indoor pool located in the Entertainments Centre on site. Also available is an on-site shop for the basics as well as beach goods.

We paid just over £200.00 for six nights on the 'over-flow' field with no electric hook up. There are two toilet/shower blocks for over 300 tents and caravan pitches. One is a brick built unit which is relatively new, the other is a wooden building. The best shower I personally had throughout the hole stay could only be described as warm, although my wife did manage to get one hot shower. Soap dispensers provided in both blocks remained empty at all times as did the toilet roll dispensers, however when I raised the point with the receptionist a toilet roll was placed in each cubicle within hours. Hardly enough to cater for the numbers of people on this site and so this supply rapidly ran out and was not replenished with any regularity. There were a number if locks to the cubicles that did not work and on the whole these facilities were not as clean as they could be. Even taking into account the other facilities on site, for nearly £34.00 a night I expect clean, hot showers and toilet paper as a minimum.
