Kiln Park has everything a Haven site should have, Entertainment was Fab, the Park as a whole was excellent. The staff Were More that helpful and always said Hello when passing,
The campsite was very good.
The Facilities were pricey (for the ones you had to pay for).
Food was good bit expensive but you take that into account when visiting a holiday park
My only disappointment was the Toilet and shower block, Yuk! they were the worse I have seen. If you went in first thing it was ok as they had just cleaned them. (Once in morning and once in evening)
Like I said Park was great if you like it full on.
I wont visit again as it was too busy for me But if you are looking for a park that has everything for all ages then this is for you.

Site warden was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about local area. Superpitch fine with plenty of room unfortunately the shower block had to serve all camping and tourer pitches.
The cleaning staff had a policy of closing half of the facilities and the other half were always dirty. The same applied to the showers, half closed from 6.30pm to 8ish am the next day.

We were worried about the reviews we had read about this site and we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The Warden was extremely helpful - one of the best we have ever come across. We went in the first two weeks of school holidays and did not feel that the site was overcrowded.
The Supergrass touring pitches were excellent, better than the hardstanding as more room and only 4 pitches in each 'avenue'. The free park and ride was fantastic, we didn't need to use our car hardly at all, this runs every 15mins until 6pm. Pitches have been revamped for this year and are great.
Location of site excellent - you can walk to the beach.
Club house and 'pub' were excellent, the food in the Mash and Barrell looked lovely, however we didn't sample the food. Average drink prices.
The website and a telephone conversation with the site advised that awning annexes are not allowed - THEY ARE! Take one if you need to.
The free firework display on a Sunday evening by the North beach/harbour during the summer months are a spectacle not to be missed.
Visit Oakwood Theme Park, but remember to collect a free child voucher from Haven reception- can save you some money! Take some spare clothes for the journey home - you may get wet! Worth £19.95 entrance fee for an adult.
Heatherton is also worth a visit - you can buy tokens to save you some money - the walk on water bubbles are good - cheaper than at Haven who charge £5, they charge £3.50 at Heatherton.
Only downside, is the toilet/shower blocks - whilst we were there they flood and are not cleaned properly. Also one day my husband went for a shower to be faced with faeces in the shower tray - not left by a child I hasten to add and someone emptied their chemical toilet in the waste(grey) water area, hence faced with someones number 1 & 2s, and toilet paper. I think you can say this is down to some campers not taking a pride in their environment, and poor cleaning staff.
Would return to Tenby without a doubt - it is unspoilt and doesn't look to take your money constantly! I will also return to Kiln Park, but would hope that something has been done about the cleaning staff and campers!

Stayed here for a week during Easter 2010, in our tent. The camping facilities are nicely situated away from more commercial areas of the site, and had obviously gone through some recent refurbishment.
The campsite staff were on sort of constant patrol/surveillance, which was a bit OTT we felt, we stopped to chat to a family walking a dog and later got confronted as we hadn't booked and paid for a dog! We don't have any pets and certainly hadn't sneaked one into the site! However I guess with a site of this size this could be considered to be a benefit?
The toilets, facilities and upkeep were very good - no complaints. The location for us was the winner! A short stroll with direct access to beautiful beach. A lovely stroll along the beach takes you into tenby, which is also beautiful. Also a flatter path behind beach into tenby.
Would recommend to families great for beach and tenby and plenty of facilities and activities for kids if weather not so great.

Very friendly welcome by the on site touring warden who directed us to our pitch.
They have spent a lot of money and time in upgrading the pitches. We had a hardstanding superpitch which was brilliant with plenty of room.
The toilets and showers were clean with plenty of hot water.
It appears that the whole complex has had a facelift.
Only a 20 minute walk into Tenby with it's array of shops and pubs/restaurants.
Will definitely be returning.

We arrived in the pouring rain and directions were not clear so we just headed for reception. Our welcome pack was waiting for us and we were instructed to drive through the park to end where the touring / tent field is.
The warden came straight out to greet us, and asked us if we had any pitch preferences. We wanted to be fairly close to the toilet/shower block and this he did even though the site was fairly busy. The warden was excellent throughout our stay and very friendly (even putting on a free barbecue one night!).
The toilet/shower block was clean and there were ample facilities. Although the infra-red heaters in each shower cubicle would only come on for a few seconds when you pushed the button and go off again not to come back on. Showers were nice and warm!
The two Spar shops on site were adequately stocked and prices were average. There is also a handy fuel station at the entrace which also has a Spar shop that is well stocked.
Pool was nice, we used it twice although would be very small for busy periods. Food in the Pub / Restaurant within the complex was nice, if a little pricey. We didn't use the entertainment as we didn't have time - although as mentioned the slot machines had a few bob out of us as they are conveniently positioned so that you have to walk through them to get to the rest of the facilities.
We visited the Dinosaur Park, and Manor House Zoo (as featured on TV) both within a 5 minute drive and good attractions for those with kids.
Summary: A lovely site that we would like to return to so that we can explore more of the area. However, we would not return in peak times (ie. school holidays) as it was busy when we went (mid week) and would be overcrowded. All other times this is a nice park and I can recommend it - other people on site were extremely friendly!

I stopped at Kiln Park over the weekend of 18th - 21st Sep 09.
We stopped on the buttercup field where we found pitches were 90% sand with multiple large ditches (Not good with two young kids trampling in and out of the tent) With windy conditions also, this turned into a problem as pegs kept coming out.
Other pitches on the field seemed to be logged with ditches and fine sand hence the reason why we stopped at our original pitch.
We were situated right next to the toilet/shower block which was very convenient to our needs although we found them very dirty. The block closed at 8pm and required a code to enter after that time. Shower block was muddy (wasn't raining once over the weekend) and often water was cold.
Dishwashing facilities contained big sinks for washing although no plugs there.
Entertainment rooms were good for the kids, although very pricey. I paid £5.40 for a pint of lager and a coke.
Campsite located near the beach, with a short stroll to nearby Tenby.
Unlikely I will stay at Kiln Park in the future.

Me, my wife and 2 young daughters stayed at Kiln park for 4 nights and below are the highlights and low lights:
Toilets and showers
These facilities were really close to where we camped and there was plenty of clean showers and toilets. The showers were a little hot for the girls though - particularity our 1 year old daughter.
On-site activities
The on site entertainment team were great and our three year old had a great time with the activities in the day and character shows at night.
The indoor swimming pool was great though I can imagine it being cramped at busy times.
The indoor and outdoor play areas we're good for younger kids though I can imagine teenagers might get board.
Bar prices we're about average for this kind of site with Lager @ £2.75 and alcopops around £3
Pitches
The pitches were a bit muddy and quite close together. We had an electric pitch and the hook up looked fairly new and safe.
Location
The site is in a fantastic location with the gorgeous south beach only a 10 minute walk away and Tenby 20 - 30 minutes walk away. There are also a number of great attractions near by - The best for kids under 10 is Folly farm which I highly recommend.
Over all this is a great site with excellent facilities and I'd recommend it, especially to people with young kids.

We stayed at Kiln Park for the first time this year over the August bank holiday. The weather was ok when we arrived but it rained a lot during our stay. The site itself is set a few minutes from Tenby which is very beautiful. The small town has a lot to offer and we had a lovely pub meal. Tenby is very pretty and there is a local supermarket. The car parking is very cheap in comparison to other towns such as Weymouth. However the condition of the site wasn't brilliant. The grass had been churned up and there was a lot of puddles and lots of mud. The shower block was clean but needs updating and was left by others in a poor state. The facilities are too small for the amount of holiday makers. We waited 40 minutes to get into the swimming pool which is very small. We never got to use the outdoor pool because the weather was so poor. Inside the club house there was only one room for entertainment which wasn't very clean, the chairs were in need of a good scrub and the carpet too. However the fun stars were very good and the entertainment was at Havens normal good standard. So if you don't mind shabby surroundings and can make do you would be happy to holiday here. However we wont be going back. It wasn't what we have come to expect from a Haven site.

First of all I would like to say this site is Cheap ideal for low budget holiday. We went with another group of our family. In total 4 adults 4 children. The positive side of things was the complex is very large and the pitches large. The entertainment was spot on fun for all the family. The pools even though small where good, but restricted opening times on indoor pool. The funworks was very entertaining.
The negative points:-
The pitches have no drainage, we had a moat around our tents, when we reported this the reception said they would get some one to see to it, it took 13 and a half hours for them to get to us and then only put limited sand bag around our tents, so we still had to wade in ankle deep water to get to and from our tents.
Showers where hot but not very clean. The toilets where manned during day and we could see the attendant was doing his best to keep them clean but to no avail.
The funworks as I said before was good but in order to get to the entertainment you have to pass through an arcade. Once your in the entertainment room, they do everything possible to get you to part with your money as quickly as they can, by selling this and that and adding things like if you buy these cheerleading pom poms you can join in at the end of the show with the dances.
There are places to eat, burger king being one of them but after waiting 15 mins to get to be served we then had to wait a further 10 mins for the food and then the children's meal we got for one of the children (chicken Bites) was under cooked and pink.
Also this site will not allow a gazebo.
We booked for 4 nights but after 2 decided to leave as the weather was getting worse and we where already bailing out our tents.
Granted it was bad weather but we have camped in various places before in extreme bad weather, but the drainage was very, very poor. When we asked about it they fobbed us off by saying 'well it is something we may consider in the future'.
