Having heard lots about the natural beauty of the gower we discovered this site and what a site! Due to the floods and being marooned to spend the night with 10,000 others on the M5 ! we kid you not, the 18 hour journey was well worth it. Swift service from the ever helpful owners we were escorted to our pitch overlooking the bay by the most helpful warden, he deserves an award. Slight gradient but nothing to testing, however, take a loooooong power lead ! Ours didnt even come close and all the others were lent out so had to buy one nearby! The site has a really chilled out and civilised feel, the market it aims for is a pleasant mix of famillys and couples, all really friendly people. Shop small but has everything one needs and toilet facilities are lets say clean and functional, this isnt a Haven site thank god so one has to take in the views and not be too bothered about the state of the loos. The tenting area is VERY steep ! try sleeping up a wall and you have it! We suffered from torrential rain one day and a few vanners suffered from flooded awnings, seemed to add to the overall weekends excitment! Cracking site, awesome natural beach , will go again.

We were very pleased with this site. The views and facilities were brilliant. Only stayed for one night on a weekend whim, I think we were lucky to get a space. The Saturday when the sun shined. Telephoned for a booking as tinternet thing didnt reply. Nice to talk to such a nice bloke.
Beach access only for those with mountain goat in the blood and a sense of adventure. Loved it, recommend it if you like to walk or ride a bike. Not much level ground though, need levelers for the rig.

We visited three cliffs for the Easter weekend. This was our first weekend away camping for several years - and what a great place to go to. All the sites with view over the cliff were occupied but this was to be expected on such a busy weekend so we opted for the flatter field with views over countryside. This turned out to be a good option as we had plenty of space throughout our stay and were not crowded or disturbed by other groups. Throughout the weekend the toilet and shower facilities were always kept spotlessly clean and we never had problems with having to queue at all. The views over the beach are fantastic although the most direct route to walk down is not for the faint hearted. The nearest pub is about a 30 min walk and does standard pub grub. It was nice enough but a bit chilly since all the doors were open since the smoking ban has come into force. We were lucky enough to have good weather so could make the most of it and have BBQ which is great. All in all a great site and we would definitely go back again.

Booked this site as a second choice because the other site (Picton Cross) didn't return any of my phone calls. On returning home I really glad they didn't. This site was excellent. The shower/toilet block was always being cleaned, I'm 6'4" and had no problems in the showers, OK it was a little tricky but ain't they always. Yes most of the site is on a slope so if you are going take something to prop up tables and stuff to keep them level. Took electric hookup for the first time which went well especially the fan heater on the cold nights. Any minus points for the site I don't think are worth mentioning and as many others have said the views are breathtaking. So just to sum up, found this to be a cracking little site with all the basic requirements, plenty to do in the surrounding area with Swansea and Llanelli within easy driving distance. Would recommend to others and possibly return myself. P.S. I couldn't find a kids playground there, think that has been listed wrong.

I have been going here for many years and have always wanted to go back. The people are friendly and very helpful. The views are very pretty. The beach is the best I have ever been to and you always have your own space as it is not over crowded. Paying for showers and hot water is a bit annoying but overall the holiday is good.

Narrow access roads mean careful approach necessary. Excellent location, although much of it exposed in bad weather. Useful shop on site. The field overlooking the sea (magnificent views) slopes - steeply in places - but caravan pitches are reasonably level. Those caravan pitches overlooking the sea although with superb views could be very exposed in bad weather. Other caravan pitches are more sheltered. Tent campers wanting to be in the above field will be hard pressed to find a level pitch. There is another more level and sheltered tent field but without the sea views. Showers are coin operated as is hot water for washing dishes. Showers are a bit cramped for changing but are kept reasonably clean considering the pressure in high season. BEWARE: it was not made clear when we booked that a pup tent as well as an awning are not permitted. We were told to take one or the other down late in the evening after we had just set up. (They relented and gave an extension until the following morning.) And pup tents must be placed where the awning would be by the side of caravan. Not forewarned at the time of booking, we found this most inconvenient. Yet there seemed to be no restriction on the size of awnings or the use of windbreaks, so although our porch awning plus pup tent occupied less space than a large awning, we still had to choose one or the other. The owners and staff were pleasant in explaining the rules but it would have been helpful to have been told before we got there. Not the best commercial site I have been on but by far from being the worst. Give it a try.

A great location - the pitches were a nightmare in the main field because it was soooooo steep - but they have a great view. We stayed in the flat paddock next door - which was lovely and looked over the countryside.
On the second night though - we got back from doing the Macmillan 22mile coastal walk (with very wobbly legs!) to find that the warden had allowed a massive group - who were celebrating a 40th birthday, to pitch all around us. They also left their dog locked in a van, so that it barked all evening.
We complained to the owner who suggested that we should move our tent! Very helpful indeed.
The fact that we had to pay for the showers and for hot water to wash dishes was very annoying - all a bit of a faff really.
The scenery was great and the toilets/showers were kept clean (and yes the showers are VERY small). But on the walk we discovered some other camp sites that looked lovely - so we'll be trying those next time instead!

This was our third year of camping at this site. We also got friendly with people who have been coming there for more than 20 years. The view from the site is simply spectacular it does sometimes get very windy but being able to get onto an almost deserted beach in the middle of August was fantastic. We have always found the owners and the wardens very helpful, I suppose it depends on how you approach them. There is a charge of 30p for the showers which some people do object to, it does ensure that everyone can access the showers as this limits people from spending longer than necessary in them. A holiday here is hard to beat.

Great campsite in a lovely location. Camped with great view of the bay with only penalty being slope of the site, but worth it for the view while cooking breakfast. Good facilities and well managed with very little in the way of noise during the night. Will return. Several different walks available to nearest pub which adds to the enjoyment.

We visited Three Cliffs on a bank holiday weekend so it was pretty busy. Having read negative reviews on the owners, I would comment that we found them to be alright, their manner might just need taking in good humour. we were asked to turn our music off once over the weekend after 10pm as there were families, they only asked us once, and as everyone around us seemed to be still awake we kept it on quietly and weren't disturbed.
The site is beautiful, lovely beach, there have also been a lot of developments in terms of their facilities, large brand new toilet block, laundrette that came in very handy when our tent leaked, cafe and shop which we only made use of before the journey home. Pub not far up the road too. Nice atmosphere, quiet a young funky crowd, lots of wind sports going on and surfing, lively environment for families too. Apart from the glass on the floor of both the showers and toilets. We had an excellent time!
