We visited this site for 4 nights and had a fantastic time. We chose to pitch at the top of the field, rather than on the cliff edge, as there was more shelter and it was pretty windy during our stay. We still had a great view but the cliff edge views are awesome if you dare to brave the wind! Three Cliffs Bay is beautiful and is accessible by 3 different routes. The quickest (and steepest) is the one from the middle of the site. The toilet and shower facilities are good and always very clean, even though the site was full for two nights of our stay. The wardens and site staff are all really friendly and helpful and the onsite shop stocks essentials and is open from 8.00 till 8.00. We visited Oxwich Bay, Port Eynon and Rhossili during our stay, all well worth a visit with great beaches. The King Arthur pub in Reynoldston is lovely, we only drove their for a drink but the food looked great. We had a wonderful stay at Three Cliffs and we were very sad to leave. We hope to visit again soon.

I stayed for a week and it was brilliant. I wished that I could have spent more time at the bay as I was attending a training event and I got back late at night.
My caravan was secure with decent toilets nearby and the showers worked effortlessly.
The surrounding area is beautiful and I cant wait to visit again.

This site is a field on top of a cliff and a view. The view is why you come, it’s magical.
To wake with the view of three cliffs from your tent you need to get to the site early as these pitches fill up quick. You will also have the prospect of pitching on a slope its nature’s way for you to pay for the view I feel. The site has some flat pitches but these do not have such a good view as they are further back from the cliff edge.
The toilet block is nice and clean with showers (token charge 30p). No club house. The warden is helpful and will not tolerate anti social behaviour (you been warned). The site has an overspill field which is flat but no view. The walk down to the bay is very steep so take care. If you walk to Oxwich along the sand (next bay) remember the tide comes in. Oh yes the chips are nice in the cafe at Rhossilli.

The best thing about this campsite as everyone is said is definitely the view, it's absolutely breathtaking! Walk down to the beach, and back up is quite hard work but definitely 100% worth it. Only one shower and toilet block, very clean, you do need tokens for the shower at 30p each which I'm not a fan of but it all works fine. The only trouble we had was that it was extremely windy so we camped up the top of the field by the wall - do-able but quite slopey - so do check the weather before you go as it is very exposed. The nearest pub is a good 2 mile walk and not particularly olde worlde, more of a chain pub. There is a good one a 5 minute drive away which has a huge menu and a lovely old fashioned bar with lots of locals and a nice atmosphere - Beaufort Arms at Kittle. Really glad they let you book as so many of the popular ones make it first come first served on busy weekends making it impossible if you are working. Definitely worth a visit, and the cafe at Rhossilli has chips to die for!

We've been visiting this site in May every year for the last 13 years. The location of the site is just spectacular. The view is one which really does take your breath away, and once you get there the beach is brilliant. There are downsides too though - see below. I think that generally the site owners rest on their laurels a bit because the view means that customers will always come - they don;t need to try particularly hard to please.
Positive
View - just unsurpassed in UK.
Beach - quiet, huge and full of activity possibilities - climbing, rockpooling, surfing, sandcastles, dune hopping, canoeing up the river - there's just no way to get bored there.
Cleanliness - block is kept really clean.
Negative
Over-officious owner and wardens - I have never found them particularly welcoming, even after 13 years.
Main field has a lot of very sloping pitches - and they do overfill the site and insist that you use the slope.
Main field gets extraordinarily windy - every May tents are completely destroyed - we've always gone in the back field - no view but safer tents.
In the back field they are very strict on car-tent-car-tent and put you very close together. If you arrive with no car you will have someone else's put less than a metre from you.
Direct path to beach is dangerous - go back up the lane and turn first left - much better route and not too uch further.

A small quiet campsite within walking distance of a secluded bay.
Staff and wardens were very friendly and happy to chat and answer any questions.
The toilet block was modern and clean with 5 showers in the ladies, although small there was plenty of hooks for your clothes. (30p per token although one token didnt last very long)
The field was partly on a slope with some flat pitches, EHU located on the flatter part.
Stunning views over Three Cliffs bay although it can be very exposed.
There are three ways down to the bay, one is straight down through the middle of the site although I wouldnt recommend it!
Another is the path behind the toilet block, a much more sedate walk which takes you down through a woodland walk. The last is by the entrance to the site, not as steep as the one from the middle of the site but still a climb back up!

Having just come back from the site I have to agree with others that this is an outstanding area to camp. The views are magnificent and there are loads of places to explore. We were lucky that the site was fairly empty at this time of year so there were plenty of areas to pitch our tent. The slope is quite steep but we found a fairly level pitch right at the top, under a tree. About 10 seconds walk from the tent with a couple of chairs and a bottle of wine and we were taking in the views from the top of the cliff at sunset! Wow!
There are two paths down to the beach. The best one is a longer walk but safer to negotiate but the shortest route is directly from the camping field down the cliff to the beach and can be treacherous. My wife lost her footing and went racing into the ferns, very lucky she came away with just bruises and scratches, so beware!
The toilets were very clean and smelled fresh. Overall the site is well maintained and clean with a warden living in a static by the entrance to the cliff field. The reception is the shop and is staffed by very friendly people. Would we go again - you betcha!

We've just returned from three windswept nights at Three Cliffs Bay.
The first thing you notice about the site is the fantastic view of Three Cliffs Bay itself - simply stunning, regardless of the weather.
Pitches are available right along the cliff top, offering a view of the beach from the moment you unzip your tent in the morning.
These cliff top pitches can be quite (very!) sloping, so we decided to pitch in the paddock field, further away from the cliffs. This field is flatter, and less windy.
The shower / toilet block was really clean throughout our stay, regardless of the time of day.
There's a little shop, selling shower tokens (30p / 5 mins), bread, eggs, bacon, beach toys etc etc, staffed by very friendly people.
There's a warden on hand at all times, and the site is completely litter free.
There was also very little in the way of noisy, antisocial behaviour. None at all really.

We spent a lovely week here. The beach is fabulous especially for small children who can play in the river if the sea is too rough. My only complaint is that the showers are not suitable for small children. My daughter is 5 and as the shower heads are fixed the water went straight over head and hit the wall! There is nowhere to put your things whilst showering (apart from a hook) which is impossible with small children. The family room is kept under lock and key (!) and for use by people with kids under 3! Child must be presented to the warden before room is unlocked but then apparently the facilities are the same as in the adults shower block! As for their description of "modern" well they haven't been modern for about 30 years I'd say! On the plus side they were regularly cleaned (but as they had only 6 toilets and 4 showers in the ladies serving several hundred people they needed to be!). Shop has basics but expensive (of course), owners seem ok but don't stick to their word regarding pitches (but that's another story!).

This is my favourite campsite and our family returns year after year. I come for the view - absolutely stunning. It takes my breath away year after year. We also come because it is an exceptionally friendly site. We see familiar faces here year after year and children link up with their holiday friends. Once visited, you'll be smitten. The site itself is simple - perfect for our requirements (beautiful location, friendly and relaxed, small shop, hot showers, laundry room - No clubhouse, no bar, no music). The owners are friendly and the warden is fantastic - she's become a friend to many of the regular campers.
The toilet and shower block is basic but spotlessly clean with a plentiful supply of hot water thanks to recently upgraded facilities. The site is small and friendly. A small field for caravans, a sloping field with sea views for tents and a flat back field for those too fearful to brave the cliff face. It can be very stormy and the winds are fierce. You need a well made decent tent if you opt for the cliff face pitches. The site shop is small but has everything you need. The beach is reached down a steep cliff path and is stunning with a river running through it, flanked by dunesand a ruined pre-norman castle above. There are often herds of ponies and cattle grazing. The water is cold and can be treacherous but if you swim on the far side to the three cliffs it's safe - or so we've always been told. Gower has the most beautiful beaches I've seen anywhere in the world - both north and south Gower and the Bryn in the middle are great to explore. Wonderful walking and climbing, good surfing at LLangenith, shopping and ice cream at the Mumbles, cinemas at Swansea (essential for when it's wet) and a few good pubs and restaurnats. Fish and Chips at Port Eynon is a must.
