This is a quiet very clean site. The owners are very pleasant and helpful. The site is ideal for fishing and relaxing. There is plenty of information on whats on in the area. Dogs are welcome as long as they stay on a lead, there are dog walking areas. This is for the ladies the toilet facilities are brilliant very clean and large booths. I had a five year old and found the facilities were suitable for her. (wash basins and soap etc). If you like fishing this is the one for you!

If you love fishing & love scenery then this is for you. Lovely place with friendly owners. I do not imagine this site being overly crowded even at the busiest times. Mid week could find you on your own on the big field. Choice of flatter serviced pitches or slopping rally field which we used. Facilities are good & clean.
No shop however & some distance to get to one. If you are there for a few days then no problem keeping food fresh. There is a freezer for blocks in reception hall. Will be going again in 2006. The owners are keen to let non- fishermen/women know about this site & told us that they may consider a basics shop in 2006/7 but nothing confirmed.
At night you may notice occassional road or rail noise but you are more likely to be alerted by the huge flocks of crows that circle around overhead before settling into the surrounding trees at dusk. The bird life inc. the Waterfowl is plentiful. Take care if you surface fish because you may hook into a Duck or Coot as I did instead of one of the beautifully stocked fish. Overall a great place.

March 2005 Very quiet site, ideal for dedicated fishermen (or women! )or for the ultimate do nothing weekend! Facilities were spotless and heated.
Communal room with details of surrounding attractions. Also fishing hire & permits.
Pitches are all grass and caravans are towed on by owner in wet weather.
Resident greeter was extremely helpful and helped with pitching etc.
Beautiful views across ponds and surrounding countryside ...trainline runs along the top of the site but only a few carriages and not enough to diturb or keep you awake.
Only downside is lack of eating or drinking facilities, the nearest pub is a mile down the road and quite posh ..it was packed with well dressed diners when we looked! Next nearest is Ledbury or Hereford both 7 miles away!

13 april 2004 A quiet site on a gently sloping field. There is a railway line at the top of the field which appeared to run a shuttle type train so was not annoying to us. Nothing to do for the kids though. There is a lovely lake for fishing stocked with the usual, stock fish with carp to about 20lb. The shower/toilet block were always very clean but the one drawback was having to go on a 11 mile run to get a paper and the milk. Would we go again? I dont think so as the wife doesn't drive and she won't have me fishing all day. Ken Crossley
