We stayed here for one night on the way home from a week in Cornwall. It is in lovely grounds having the 'Millpond' as a beautiful addition where fishing is allowed and is also open to non residents.
On arrival to the site we were welcomed by the friendly staff and directed to a pitch in a lovely part of the site. We could have had a choice of pitches but the first one he showed us was fine so we stuck with that one. It was level and looking round most of them seemed to be. The facilities were very clean and well maintained.
There is a dog walk around part of the perimeter of the site but dogs are requested to be on leads around the site.
There is plenty of information in the reception area informing of places to visit and restaurants and pubs nearby to eat at. If you need any basics you will be able to get them from the small shop there.
It is not too far into Hereford itself which is worth a visit even if you are only just there for a short stay.
We found it to be a quiet friendly site and would stay there again if in the area.

Visited this site at start of April, we were the only tent on site, most of the units were caravans or camper vans.
Flat, clean tidy and immaculately kept as with other C&C sites that I have visited. Well located for trips to Hereford, Ledbury, and a bit further afield Leominster and Worcester.
Toilets and showers first class. Did not try the nearby pub, but it looked OK from outside and is just about in walking distance.
If visiting, make sure you take in some of the local 'Black and White' villages (google it) as despite living within 100 miles of this region all my life, these were a hidden wonder that had to be seen to be appreciated.

We loved this site! It's so friendly, facilities are spotless, wardens are so welcoming, smiley and can't do enough to help! We were lucky enough to arrive on a Monday, which (unknown to us) happened to be 'Curry or Chilli' night delivered on site. We both had Curry, which came with popadoms & mango chutney + a litre bottle of local cider each for under £20 in total! Only wished we could have stayed longer. Will def be back!
Only marking down child friendliness because there is a deep water lake, although there are loads notices, not all parents are as vigilant as they possibly should be!

This site has everything. The team run by Bill and Lynn were continuously helpful. From arrival to departure we felt cared for. Pitches hard standing great, toilets and showers were always spotless even though the site was busy, the team were always willing to help with Good suggestions. We felt that being able to use public transport to the various towns was a real benefit

As newbie’s, we picked up our first ever motor home on 1st April and on 7th April we took it out for a one night test run and decided to stay at Hereford as it was not too far from home.
What a perfect site for a first trip and initiation into the wonderful world of campsites. The owners could not have been more helpful and when we advised we were motor home virgin’s the gentleman on the bike took the time to explain everything to us before showing us to our pitch.
Although the weather was more like mid summer than April the site was fairly empty and we had the pick of many pitches but we were located close to the back perimeter as we have a dog and this was close to the dog walking area.
The showers were spotless and facilities immaculate. Although dogs have to be kept on a lead at all times, there was plenty of scope for walking her around the grounds, woods and lake. I feel this site would benefit from cordoning off an area where dogs can have a run around off the lead for exercise and socialisation.
I didn't see too much to do for children on this site and would be a little worried about the lake so probably not the best of sites if you have kids.
As it was only a one night test run and we live fairly locally we did not visit anywhere off site but I know there are plenty of places of interest in the surrounding area.
This would make a good weekend getaway for us as it is not too far to travel and the facilities were excellent. We would definitely consider a return trip but for longer next time.

Stayed in caravan had a hardstanding, electric pitch. Weather was extremely cold woke up to a severe frost resulted in us tripping the 10amp box as we needed the heating on full, the water taps froze so we had to wait till late morning to refill our water containers.
Lovely site set next to a fishing pond. Large pitches mostly hard standing. Wardens friendly though strict on rules, you must inform wardens of any visitors and they must be off site by 5.30 though after negotiations our son was allowed to stay a little later as this was the point of our visit as we hadn't seen him in months.
Well stocked shop on site selling local cakes and bread milk, eggs biscuits and local honey apple juice and meat. Facilities very clean and modern never had to wait for toilet or shower.
Lots to do in the area, Hereford Cathedral worth a visit, Forest of Dean, Ledbury and Ludlow. Good dog walk on site, part forest and grassland.

Just returned from another visit to the Hereford Camping and Caravanning Club site. Although coming to the end of a busy season the toilets, washing up area etc were as usual kept very clean. Bill and Lynn the owners, Paul and Sally and the rest of the staff were prepared to help and assist over even the smallest of problems.
Their friendly attitude makes you feel like a one of the family. An impression expressed by other visitors to the site especially some of the first time visitors.
The end of season free BBQ was great. It was nice to see that plans are under way for next season with the re seeding of grass pitches and flower seedlings outside the reception being prepared for the local villages entry in the Britain in Bloom competition.

A superb site, staff so helpful and friendly, nothing too much trouble, they even ran fundraising events for a cancer charity. Toilets/showers top quality and super clean as well. Lovely flower display and well organised recycling facilities.
Large fishing lake, very popular with all on site and the beauty of people that fish is that they sit by the lake all day, then come back to their units to eat and then sleep so the site is very quiet, except for the one train an hour that passes.
From the end of the lane you can get a bus to Hereford or to Ludlow. I don't consider this a site for children due to large lake but its great for oldies. We will be back.

A fantastic site.
Immaculately kept with large pitches.
The toilet block was one of the cleanest I have seen.
Brilliant facilities.
The staff were extremely helpful and couldn't have been more welcoming.
We had our dog with us and there was a nice area on the site to walk him with bins easily available to put waste bags in.
The shop had some wonderful local produce and amazing cakes!
Very highly recommended.

Stayed here for the first 4 nights of a 12 day, 3 site motorcycle tour.
Arrived late afternoon and was shown to a slightly sloping standard pitch at the edge of the site a minutes walk to the shower/toilet block. Ground firm but pegging out was fine.
Staff very helpful and friendly and the shop on site was the best we came across and was open all day. The facilities block looked brand new and was kept immaculate. 2 washing machines / dryers were appreciated. The swallow nesting a couple of feet above your head in the washing up area an additional bonus.
Of wildlife, if your tent doesn't have a sown in groundsheet, you will be visited by the largest hedgehog we have ever seen! so keep foodstuffs off the floor.
The Tarrington Arms pub is 10 minutes walk away is fine for a pint but when we were there the restaurant was empty and seemed a bit pricey. Beware when walking back on site after dark as the green barrier is unlit and the wife and I walked straight into it! If the site owners had cctv they would have had £250 from 'you've been framed' easy.
In conclusion a beautiful site, popular with fishermen, with excellent facilities / staff and good bus links to Ledbury/Hereford. The visiting fish and chip van on Fridays is a must. Would definitely stay again.
