A fantastic large site that was flat and well maintained with friendly and helpful staff.
With it being a bank holiday during our visit the site was very busy and our pitch was surrounded by caravans but this did not bother us.
The facilities were always clean and well maintained although the grass in the centre pitches could have been cut more recently but possibly overlooked due to the number of arrivals. The on site shop was well stocked and had plenty of ice cream available for the hot days.

Just returned from a fantastic holiday weekend at Blackmore. A smashing site.
The pitches were roomy and we were shaded by mature trees, which we were grateful for as the weather was sunny and warm! The staff were very efficient - sometimes a bit brusque but they ran a tight ship and it paid off as the shower blocks were spotless, the campsite was quiet after 11pm and everything seemed to run itself.
The big draw for us was the Malvern Hills, a lovely view from the campsite and an even better (if very windy) walk. Will certainly be returning.

We visited during the school holidays and found the staff were really friendly and helpful. The site was well laid out with more than adequate facilities.
The only gripe for us was that the toilet block nearest to our unit was closed during the week. The shop had all the essentials and the site/facilities were really well maintained.
Hanley Swan has a small shop and pub that were within easy walking distance and Malvern was close by offering everything you could need. A really lovely site overall.

This was our second trip out in the caravan as we have been tent campers for years. We were very pleased with the warm welcome received from the site staff. We were escorted to our pitch and even given assistance to move our van onto it.
The facilities at this site were immaculate and although one of the toilet blocks was closed there was never any trouble accessing the showers / toilets. The site is large and has a great playground for children along with a lot of space and surrounding countryside for dog walking.
There is a great village shop in Hanley swan and a great little butchers that has a constantly changing stock of homemade flavoured sausages, well worth trying.
This is a great place to stay if you want to explore the Malverns although you will have to get in the car to reach these as walking along the main road into Great Malvern is not much fun!
All in all a good site and well worth returning to.

Just spent 10 nights at this lovely site. We arrived at 7.15pm, in the dark on a Friday night and the wardens were still very friendly and welcoming.
There was a lot of work going on to change some of the pitches into hard standing, but we tend to have lots of days out so didn't really notice any noise problems.
The site is in the shadows of the Malvern Hills and is ideal for keen walkers. The toilet block we used was spotless and there was lots of warm water. TV reception was poor on our pitch, you also have wifi access.
The shop sells basic food stuff and you can pre order your newspapers. There are also swings, climbing frames etc for the kids and a recreation room which my boys inform me had a pool table.
The local village is just a level mile walk away, the pub The Swan is great, we popped in for a meal and a pint and loved it. There's not much to choose from on the menu but it appeared to be all home cooked and tasted great, the staff were great too.
Great Malvern is just a few miles away and has all the usual shops, banks etc and is a really pretty little town. Worcester is a bit further afield and is well worth a visit especially the Cathedral and the Commandry.
We also found a fantastic pub at Bransford (The Fox Inn) they have a comprehensive menu, it all looked great. We went twice and I had two different venison meals and they were both delicious.
All in all, great site, not too much to do in the local area if you're not into walking/cycling. But would definitely go back.

This is a massive site, but unusually the CCC Wardens do ask what sort of pitch you'd like when they're escorting you there, rather than allocating one without asking (which is more usual). There are trees around the site and on it, so we asked for pitch with evening sun for sitting outside, and there were some views of the Malvern Hills through the trees. No hardstands - there's a mesh in the grass. There are two excellent modern toilet blocks, so when one's closed for cleaning in the morning there's access to the other - not always the way on CCC sites. We were near to one toilet block and its boiler vents were loud enough to wake us up at night. Motorhome service point has a long hose which is useful for filling the tank (again, not always the way). A good dog walk in the woods that run right around the site, so you're never too far from a way in. We were touring, so we only stayed two nights, but we'd come back again: one of the better CCC sites!

Very pleasant and well organised site. Wardens helpful on arrival and helped to select the best suited pitch.
The wi fi signal was strong and worked very well.
There is a very good dog walk around the perimeter of the site and good well marked public footpaths across farmland from the site entrance.
Toilet blocks are modern, spacious and clean. The showers are large enough to swing your arms around in. The only problem is that the lavatory flushes are feeble meaning that upon entering the chamber you will invariably be confronted with a floating present or two left by the previous occupant.
The village of Hanley Swan is within easy walking distance and the pub provides good ale and very nice food. Some might say that it is pricey but you get what you pay for and if you are on holiday there is no point in going out for a lousy meal. We also tried the Indian Restaurant in Malvern and ths was also very good.
The Malvern Hills make for good walking. The scenery is lovely and there is a different view from each peak.
It is also possible to visit the Cotswolds although we found that the picture book villages are somewhat spoiled by the amount of traffic, parked cars and endless coach parties.

First time to Blackmore, and will definitely return! Lovely large flat site. Had a pitch at far end against trees with electric. Visited with friends and they were able to allow us to choose 2 pitches next to each other.
The toilets and showers were spotless as you would expect from a club site, with water always hot no matter what time of day or night we used them.
The reception staff were very friendly, and the shop well stocked (although brought nothing so don’t know how prices compare).
Site was fairly busy, more caravans and motor homes than tents, but didn’t feel intimidated!
No noise after dark which was great, just what we needed for a quiet weekend away.
Only complaint was the pitch we had was lacking grass (only under tent and due to overuse perhaps), which on our departure had turned a bit muddy with the rain. Meant a muddy tent when we got back home!
Visited Malvern town about 15 mins away. Didn’t think much to it, normal country town with not much going on. Didn’t walk any of the hills, but the views looked great.
Also went to Upton on Severn, about 15 mins in other direction. Much nicer village on the river, with loads of pubs all serving food. Had excellent meal in Kings Head, great spot next to the river watching the boats and ducks. What more could you want.
Pleasant walk from the campsite to Hanley Swan (turn left when coming out of campsite) which takes about 15 mins (on foot) down country lane but has footpath all the way. Had a welcome drink in the Swan pub. Lovely beer garden with children’s climbing frame, overlooks the village green and duck pond. Pub is more restaurant than pub, and menu looks nice, it’s a bit pricy and not perhaps aimed at the camping fraternity.
Over all had a great time, will definitely be back.

What a great site this is. On our first C&CC weekend and only our second trip with our upgraded and new Vango Vista 800 we visited Blackmore. The site is spotless, the welcoming is friendly and informative, on a plus they take debit cards as I forgot to go the cashpoint
The 6 meter rule applies here, ie No other unit is closer than 6 meters to you, well it wasn't where we pitched. On arrival we were escorted to a pitch but as the site wasn't full we could have a choice where we wanted to go.
We do not yet own an EHU so a basic picth was only needed. The actual pitch was partly sheltered but seriously it was about 10 meters square, it was huge , more than enough for the tent and the car. The toilets were plentiful, clean and with private cubicle wash basins with light and electric razor plug in addition to the communal sinks and shower's.
The water is piping hot so if you do visit and have children mind thier hands!
There was plenty of washing up sinks, a family room, a laundry room and 2 rotary lines to hang the washing on of you was planning to do any. There is a small shop on site which has the essentials, but Hanley Swan is a 10 minute walk or 2 min drive with a small village store and also butchers which looked great but if you wanted bigger stores Malvern is about 10 minute drive and we found a shopping park with Morrisons, Mcdonalds, Pound Stretcher, New Look, M&S etc on it.
The pub in Hanley swan is friendly and has a playing area, it also sells food, but we never stayed for a meal just a pint, before walking back to the site. The site has its own play area and is kid friendly, but with no bar or restaurant on site and if you did fancy going out I'd recommend the pub in Hanley Swan.
All in all a great site with plenty of room, level pitches child and dog friendly, excellent wash facilities and fantastic views of the Malvern's. We will definitely visit Blackmore again next year and we will stay longer than the 2 nights that we booked. Its a great base to see the surrounding area or just to get away from it all and has the option of EHU too.
You can stay at this site if you are not a C&CC member but it works out a little more expensive. 10 out of 10 from me for Blackmore.

My husband and I stayed at Blackmore for two nights with our Boxer bitch. We had never been camping before but it was a total success! The camp site is very well looked after and the facilities were excellent. I liked the idea of having a washbasin in a lockable cubicle to have a private wash at night. Lovely little shop with the basics and where you could order a newspaper for the following morning.
Nice secluded dog walk ran around the outside of the camp site and the pitches weren't on top of each other.
Very considerate campers around us, all adhered to the no noise after 11p.M. All in all a great 2 day break. Would definitely go again.
