Booked this site for a few days when returning from Cornwall, so we would be half way home. I checked feedback before booking as there is also a Caravan Club site right next door & we are members of both, but Blackmore had the better feedback.
I did a route map from Cornwall, site was easy to find from M5, J8, about 10 miles in Hanley Swan. We were warmly greeted by wardens, I had to ring a few days prior to going to advise we were going to a later than booked due to hubby being taken ill in Cornwall, they said just keep us informed which I did. We stayed 3 days & had asked for an open pitch, don't like to be under trees if we can help it.
We were shown 3 hardstanding pitches & chose which one we wanted, although all were nice open pitches. It was nice as there was no caravans opposite us, just grass. This is a large site but it wasn't full & the only children nr us was in a tent behind on another row & they left the following day so it was peaceful.
The area where we were pitched was nr a big toilet block, the showers were clean & hot. You did have to pay for the hairdryer which I think should be incorporated in the price of your pitch. I have my own so didn't need it.
There was an industrial washing machine £3. 50 per wash, & I think £1 for the dryer which both looked new & bigger than ours at home. We went to look around the Caravan Club site, it had some lovely views of the Malvern Hills depending on where you were pitched, we didn't have any views on our site of the hills due to it having tall trees around the edge, but I liked our site better. The Caravan Club Site looked untidy, very uneven & hardly any hard standing pitches.
What I did see of the hardstanding were terrible, campervans parked up, just like being in a car park, worse than a car park even. There is a bus that takes you to Tewksbury one way & Worcester the other that you catch from the main road outside the caravan site, nr the church.
There is only 1 bus stop you just wait opposite this for the bus to Tewksbury. We had some time in Upton Upon Seven which was a lovely place to visit about 4 miles from site.

Friendly welcome and we were given a choice of pitches - this is a large site so there are both open and more sheltered options.
Reception sells the absolute basics. The village shop is about a mile away. There is a pavement.
Plenty of wildlife: rabbits, birds, bats and squirrels. However you need to be careful of the squirrels as one managed to get into our
Tent porch in search of food. Fortunately everything was packed into plastic tubs or tins but s/he did make quite a mess!
There are two large modern toilet blocks. Clean and functional if a little soul-less. Maybe some pictures or flowers would soften things a little? Likewise the washing room was arranged so that all the sinks faced the blank walls rather than the window.
There is both a Caravan Club and a Girl Guide camp on the same site.
We walked into Malvern and then up the Worcestershire Beacon from the site. The round trip, at a gentle pace, took about 5 hours.

We only spent a weekend here so can't say too much. It is the usual C&CC site. Good clean facilities, plenty of space.
The walk to the Hanley Swan Inn is about 30 minutes maybe. Dog friendly with very nice food. We ate there both nights.
Loads of showers and loos, never had to queue.

We spent just two nights here, but will definitely be going back for a longer stay. As you would expect of a camping & caravan club site, it was really well laid out and maintained. The pitches are a good size and the staff friendly.
An added bonus was the superb fish & chips from the visiting chip shop on the Friday! The location is also perfect for exploring the local area, including the amazing Malvern Hills.
We would highly recommend this site!

Just returned from a couple of nights here, a pleasant, well-kept site, good size pitches and not at all cramped. A very warm welcome from caring and helpful staff.
Amenity blocks good, one looking a little tired, but we were given to understand that there was a programme of refurbishment in hand, though the chemical disposal point is the best we have used!
We will definitely return, but with a longer TV aerial pole as reception is a bit difficult.

Cwtch Cabins And Camping - Ledbury
With easy access to the Wye Valley, or the Malverns, this is a fantastic spot for a back-to-nature camping escape, with all electricity generated on site. Non-electric grass pitches with fire pits for your tent or campervan, or enjoy the home comforts of various quirky wooden cabins and thoughtfully renovated shepherd's huts. Despite its offgrid feel, guests can access brand-new toilets and hot showers.
With thoughtful touches around the camping field, including planting, beautiful wild grasses, and flourishing vegetable beds, the site sits between Ledbury, Ross-on-Wye and Newent, providing a pick of independent shops and amenities. Pubs and cider makers are located a stroll away, and dogs are welcome. Look forward to a warm welcome from hosts Ruth, James, and their cheery canines Chaucer and Luther! Find out more here

We stayed as a family over Easter. 2 tourers and a tent. We were put all together as requested near the top toilet bock. I can only really say the same as everyone else, superb site immaculate well run and much better than the caravan club site next door.
My only negative would be the shower temp on the top toilet block went at different times and water only just warm enough, last shower taken at the other block lovely and hot. The recreation room was taken up all weekend by the caravan and camping club brass band, good job weather was good so not required as kids played outside, however we were treated to a great concert by the band on Sunday.
We will be back as the site is superb and the area is lovely

Visited here over the spring bank holiday. Site is very clean and tidy. We arrived on Friday and it was very quiet. On Saturday some more people arrived and it was very noisy. The one caravan had six dogs so we were awake most of the night with them fighting and then the people turned the TV on loud at 6am so I couldn't wait to come home.
Fish and chip van arrived at 5pm on Friday and we were told it would be there until 7:30 pm but it left at just after 7pm.
Shop was very basic, in fact you couldn't even call it a shop as it was part of reception and only open for 2-4 hours a day. We walked into the village to visit the butchers we had heard so much about, only to find it had shut down.

This is an immaculate well kept site. The pitches are very generous in size, lovely dog walking area around perimeter of site. Showers and toilets are immaculate, a large family room available to use as needed. The Swan pub is 0. 7 miles walk from site and do lovely food and real ale. Laundry room available as well as 2 rotary lines.
Great Malvern is 4. 5 miles walk away but it is flat so we walked in and thought we would have a bus back, but unfortunately buses do not run directly from Great Malvern to Hanley Swan you have to go to Worcester then Hanley Swan.
So we walked back and clocked up a fair few miles - dog enjoyed. Upton on Severn is nice and quaint and is 3. 2 miles walk again on the flat and buses go to Hanley Swan so that was great. Helpful staff, I cannot fault this site and it is ideal for walkers.
The write up states great for pubs but there is only one that is within a decent walking distance and that is the Swan.
Will definitely go back soon.

What a fantastic site, well manicured and clean. Fairly generous and level hard standings, the two facility blocks are kept immaculately clean and all staff friendly and helpful. There is a small dog walk that winds itself around the park, although not large it is sufficient and there are walks nearby.
There is a huge indoor area that can be used to chill out when the British weather intercepts proceedings, there is a pool table or you can take your own board games etc in. Probably the only slight disappointment is the size of the play area and if it were slightly larger with more equipment then you would be unable to fault this absolutely superb site.
You are only a short way from the Malvern Hills, Ledbury, Upton upon Severn and many other places of interest. We hope to revisit this area again soon and will certainly be using this stunning site.

The site clean friendly lots of trees and squirels. Good size pitch. I am not a ccc member so £50+ for 2 nights is far too much and to be honest even as a ccc member still over priced in my opinion. Would I go there again, I doubt it, just not my cup of tea. Its too big and boring for my liking but that's me.
