June 2004 Although this is a club site, they welcome non-club members.
We understood quite quickly why the Camping and Caravnning Club call themselves "the friendly club". We were made to feel extremely welcome. All staff members were very friendly and it seemed as if it was important to them that we were happy.
The pitches are not marked but it is a club rule that you must have at least 6 metres between each unit on all sides which results in a large pitch. We were taken through the site by a staff member on a bicycle who said he would show us a few pitches and we could choose which one we preferred. We took the first one we were offered (a beautiful space under the trees). We thought that they made an effort to put families together and adults together, but that could have been coincidence.
The site is large and well tended. About half of it is set in the trees and the other half is in a large open field with a play area (although we didn't see any pitches too close to the play area!).
The amenities are to an extremely high standard and there are plenty of them.
There is a pub within walking distance but it has closed down as I write, don't know whether it will reopen or not. But there are plenty of pubs within a short drive or a longer walk (between 2 and 5 miles).
I would highly recommend this site. It's lovely.

May 2004 Took the four children along for the weekend. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home.
The facilities are exceptionally clean and the staff are willing to help at all times.
There is a small shop which sells the bare essentials. The site is well looked after, the water is hot and even though it was over half full there was no noise at all.
The pitch was only booked two days before travel because they were worried that the tent field would not be suitable due to heavy rain. No need to worry the pitch was grassy and no mud insight even after two days. It is clear they care about your camping experience. As I believe all Camping and Caravanning Club sites are.
The site is four miles from the local supermarket and shops. However after a long walk with the kids along the Malvern Hills to British Camp the kids slept a long time.
I would recommend this site to any campers. However I believe non members are charged a £4.75 surcharge ontop of the daily hire fee.

6-8 June 03 This is one of the CCCs web of sites. It caters for all units and takes members and non-members alike. No pub on site but it does cater for rallies and has a room for their use. Showers are free and clean. There is a play area and a "wooded" dog walk which goes around half the site. Electric hook ups and a pitches by the play area are a bonus, especially if you want your little ones to have "freedom" whilst you can keep an eye on them from the safety of your unit.
