On arrival at the site after sorting out the office stuff you are directed to your pitch by a site warden on a bicycle. As I was right next to the wash room block I checked them out 1st, all spick and span and considering that it was Sunday afternoon that was good as all the weekender's had just gone and they stayed clean all week The site itself is huge plenty of space for everyone The grass was well manicured (although later in the week after a rather strenuous walk the constant noise of the mowing machine did get on my nerves)

Locally there is lots to do You have Worcester to the north Gloucester to the south Tewkesbury in between but the best bit is right on the doorstep The Malverns some absolutely stunning views from the top of the Worcestershire Beacon (at 1395ft) Park at British Camp car park (£2 to park all day and the parking ticket is transferable between all the different car parks) and walk across to the Beacon There is also disabled access to The Malverns via tarmacked paths

I also never checked to see what was on at the 3 Counties Showground as during the week there was a Championship Dog Show on and I was surrounded by dogs of all sizes and breeds. To be fair to the owners there wasn't too much yapping. The people behind me had 4 Bearded Collies and apart from the odd spat they were no problem, but it would be worthwhile checking just in case

The only point I can actually say that let this site down was the there was only one rubbish area which was just behind the entrance / office, for such a big site there didn't seem to be that many bins either although they did have some proper recycling bins plenty of water points so I would have thought they could stick a wheelie bin at each water point

Would I go back to this site. Yes definitely but I would make sure that I was pitched in a different area of the site

Went with another family (they had electric hook up and we didn't) and we were sited opposite each other despite the site being quite busy. Great facilities - washblocks, washing machine, tumble dryer, hairdrier takes 20ps, family bathroom, children's play area, games room with pool table and loads of free space, shop with milk and ice creams, cool block hire. Very welcoming, friendly and well kept.

Nearby Upon on Severn was lovely, The Swann Inn at Hanley Swan good food but slow service, Clives Fruit Farm fantastic for strawberry picking and entertaining the kids!

Would love to go again!

This is a lovely site, well-maintained with excellent facilities. We were particularly impressed with the recreation room, which is simply a large room with chairs and tables for children to play in (plus a pool table). This was great for keeping our kids out of the afternoon sun, and I'm sure would also be useful if it rained. Everything was clean and the buildings looked brand new (although I think they were built in 1990 in a huge refurbishment of the site). Facilities included recycling, laundry room, dishwashing room, and children's playground.

The surrounding area is beautiful. We went walking in the Malvern Hills (only a short drive away) and to lunch at Upton-upon-Severn, which is a nice old village with a marina and a fine choice of pubs.

The site doesn't have great views, but is well-laid out with lots of trees. Even though they were almost full for the Bank Holiday weekend, we still felt we had enough space and privacy.

I would recommend this site to anyone new to camping, as it gets all the basics right and to a high standard.

Had a great weekend despite some heavy showers. On arrival we made the mistake of not pulling up to the (faded) stop line and were politely told to move forward. It would have helped if there was a sign along the lines of 'please pull up to line and check in' There are no speed humps, which is great (unlike the neighbouring Caravan club site) but a few pot holes near the entrance should be filled to prevent damage / injury.

Shown to a very nice, large pitch and helped to get van into position. Toilets and showers were spotless despite site being nearly full. At the end of the weekend a number of pitches had large puddles on them.

Visited local attractions at Croome park and Upton upon Severn, both well worth a visit.

Great location at the foot of the malvern hills, will visit again!

We arrived on the Friday afternoon and was greeted in reception by friendly staff and shown to our pitch by a friendly guy on a bike! We came with family (there was three tents) and they made an effort to put us altogether which was nice.

The showers were spotless considering the site was busy it was also quiet of a night so my little boy still manage some sleep!. The playground was great too and my little boy who is three loved playing there with his cousin.

The big retail park was close by with a morrisons, halfords, argos etc which was great and the local pub and butchers sold great food.

No complaints at all, we will be definitely returning!. Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful stay.

Cwtch Cabins And Camping - Ledbury

With easy access to the Wye Valley, or the Malverns, this is a fantastic spot for a back-to-nature camping escape, with all electricity generated on site. Non-electric grass pitches with fire pits for your tent or campervan, or enjoy the home comforts of various quirky wooden cabins and thoughtfully renovated shepherd's huts. Despite its offgrid feel, guests can access brand-new toilets and hot showers.

With thoughtful touches around the camping field, including planting, beautiful wild grasses, and flourishing vegetable beds, the site sits between Ledbury, Ross-on-Wye and Newent, providing a pick of independent shops and amenities. Pubs and cider makers are located a stroll away, and dogs are welcome. Look forward to a warm welcome from hosts Ruth, James, and their cheery canines Chaucer and Luther! Find out more here

We stayed at this site for the week-end as we need to be close to the show ground.

This is an excellent site, the reception people are very very helpful indeed.

Small shop stocks the every day items you require when camping, you can order your morning paper.

The shower block is first class, plenty of hot water, showers are great, block always very very clean.

We will definitely be back when the next show is on

WOW - how helpful are the staff - asked if we could reverse into our space, we said no, so they did no more than help us unhitch & push us back - YES - We are virgin caravanners, in that we've not done the manoeuvring course & been at it less than 12 months!

The staff are lovely & helpful, but unobtrusive, the pitches are well spaced & the local pub in Hanley Swan does good food - what more could you want, other than fab weather so you can BBQ every night!

The facilities were great, but we never tried the family facility room as we brought our own baby bath, but would have were it not locked.

We didn't try the local shops, but were only there for the weekend - but if a cider / perry lover, then Clives fruit farm is a must - their perry is lovely!

All in all - a lovely site, which we will most certainly visit again this year.

We stopped here for the weekend arrived at reception and greeted with a friendly smile and then we were taken to our pitch by a friendly guy on a bike. Our pitch had plenty of space and well looked after. The toilet blocks were spotless and everywhere we went it was really looked after. Myself and family couldn't find any fault at all. Its only a short drive to the Malvern hills and Malvern town. The village of hanley is very nice and the butchers is great for some fresh meat for the bar b que. All in all what a great weekend thanks to all

Stayed here for a few days on the way home from a week in Cornwall.

Excellent site. Toilet blocks extremely clean, and obviously new / well cared for.

Pitches were spacious and level, with all facilities close by. As a young family, we were situated next to the playground, which kids very much enjoyed. Also, football facilities are provided at the entrance to the site, which the kids appreciated.

Staff very helpful, and site has a pleasant relaxed atmosphere.

The local area is excellent for walking / outdoors, with British Camp and the rest of the Malvern Hills all within a few minutes drive. Also, the site is within an hour's drive of Cadbury World which was a highlight of the stay!

Only one possible complaint - given that the weather was very bad, the laundry facilities were busy and there was a lot of competition to use the facilities - would perhaps recommend an extra washing machine / dryer?

Overall, very pleasant site which I would definitely recommend to all. You will not be disappointed!

Fantastic. The site although about 3x larger than other C and CC sites we have stayed on was lovely - The largeness meant there is a choice of pitches, as a family of 3 small boys we went for the play area pitch, but if you were a couple wanting a quiet pitch there is more than enough room, which I would recommend as the play area was noisy up to about 10pm.

The facilities were very modern and clean with 2 toilet and shower blocks, laundry and a parent and child room. The shop was small with basics plus ice creams etc but if you drive there is a retail park with a large Morissons and very nice Cafe plus M&S, Next, Boots (and an upto midnight pharmasist), Halfords, Matalan and New Look and it is about 5 miles away.

The staff - 2 Managers and 4 Assistants were very friendly and helpful both when we were taking ages to choose our pitch!and through our stay when our awning collapsed and a pole broke.

We were only booked for the weekend but were having a lovely time so decided to stay the week which was no problem.

I would definitely recommend and we will be going back.
