Very clean and tidy site with immaculate toilet blocks. Easy access from main road. This site is also adults only and so is very quiet.
The pub near the entrance is very convenient, and is now doing excellent bar meals and does have some entertainment on occasions. The pub looks a bit untidy from the outside and is well worn but clean and traditional on the inside. The new owner is working hard to improve the place. I would stay there again no problem.

July 2005 Wonderful quiet site, with, at the time of our stay, a combination of caravans, motorhomes and tents. The toilets and shower blocks were spotlessly clean. The site staff were very polite and friendly. There is a self service laundry facility, NB Please bring your own washing powder etc, as there is no camp shop on site. However, propane/butane gas is sold and mobile phone top-ups are available at reception.

July 2005 Lovely site very well run with friendly staff, in a quiet peaceful location with beautiful views over the sea & mountains & lovely sunsets. Toilets, showers (nice, hot & free) & utility room were spotlessly clean, with washing machines, dryers, & ironing board & iron, there was even a rack with books to read! The whole place felt very well looked after. We took our large frame tent; the pitch was large with plenty of room between ourselves & other tents & caravans, with ample car parking next to tent. All pitches have 16 amp hook up (also free) so plenty of electric, & water points close by.
The only minor fault's that we could find, & this does not reflect on this excellent site in any way, was that the only pub within walking distance was very scruffy & was not doing food at the time of our visit, however it had recently been taken over so it could get better. Also a shop on site would have been nice as the nearest village was over a mile away although you can buy gas & phone top up's at the site office.
Please don't let these VERY minor points put you off, i would recommend this site to anyone looking for a good clean site close to a large sandy beach & the A55, ideal base for touring north Wales & Anglesey
We are hoping to visit again soon

June 2005 Absolutely superb site, very friendly owner, who assisted to site caravan so that we were facing stunning view over bay, toilet and shower facilities were spotless, site situated in ideal posistion for Snowdonia. Adult only site meant it was nice and relaxing, even though the site was full, we never felt cramped, large pitch, it was lovely, will definitely be visiting again.

September 2004 A Beautiful site and the toilet and shower facilities were second to none. I just loved the site, although they seemed to cater more for caravanners. Although you could only get to the beech via a footbridge over the main road, what we did actually see of the North Wales coastline was lovely. We had to cut our week long stay short as after 3 days of gale force winds practically wrecked our tent, but we would love to go back.

June 2003 Very friendly staff when we arrived. The showers/toilet blocks were immaculately clean and every little detail seemed to have been thought of - they even had squeegy mop things in the shower cubicles so that you could give it a quick wipe round. Showers hot and nice and free. Can watch sunset over sea from the campsite. Footpath to beach but not really handy for lugging beach stuff. Better beaches if you drive somewhere else. Handy for most of the North Wales coastal resorts and elsewhere I'm sure but we only stayed for 2 nights. Not really much for kids at all - no swings that we came across. The only disadvantage that we found was that they don't allow disposable bbqs or ground level bbqs.
