Had a little look around yesterday. You should be aware they are actually closed for tents between September and April because of high winds. Looks very nice with modern clean toilet/shower block and spectacular views. You are set up high however so it would be advisable to make sure there are no high winds forecast. We will be back.

Stayed here for 3 nights in early June ’06. It was very enjoyable helped by glorious weather (hardly a cloud in sight) and peaceful (no kids!).The lady on reception was very kind and helpful taking us to our tent pitch (all have electric hookups). The area set aside is lower down so the views you get aren’t as good as the caravans, but we could see the sea on one side! We never tried the local pub next to the site but went into Conwy. We found a good Mediterranean style restaurant called ‘Town House’ there and an Indian. Also ‘Alfredos’ the Italian in the square gets busy at weekends so book in advance! The main A55 runs close by the Park and being in a tent we noticed it most at night. The free showers & toilets were very clean and the laundry/wash room was well equipped. All in all a very pleasant site to stay at and certainly good value!

Spent Easter here and was put about 4th level up. Got my van on pitch just about but my friends had to turn their van side ways - pitch too small, lucky they were next to us, as they ended up right up close to our van. On the Sunday night it was very windy and it kept us a wake all night. It died down about 6/7 in the morning that's when we finally got off to sleep. Woke up at 10.30 to find no electric , so we decided to go to the little chef at 11.00. On the way out we were told we had to be off by 12.00 ( if they were expecting new arrivals for our pitch fine) but we had to pull our van off and put it in the waiting area to pack everything away. When I asked could we stay on the pitch till later as they were not expecting anyone I was told "no" as they go for lunch at 12 and don't come back till after 2!
Have stayed on this site as a seasonal tourer for 1 season and visited on and of for 3 years. The toilets and showers are lovely and clean the views fantastic. I notice that many people say the shops in village are too far away, that's because they are turning left out the gate, if they turn right and walk along, the 3rd turning on your right, you will find a chippy, off licence, post office and small shop. You can walk it in 2 Min's from the gate.

We have just returned from a week at this park. £70 quid for a week for 2 adults a dog, awning and electrics. The bathroom facilities are nothing short of outstanding. Some of the pitches are far from level but there's plenty of bricks around and the owners are always on hand to help you turn your caravan to get the best views. Oh yes the views are spectacular with almost all pitches having a clear view of the sea as well as the mountains.

Just spent 4 nights at this site - we should have stayed 7 nights.
Al I can says is nice spotless toilets and showers and nice views but the pitch we were on and my mum and dad were on was about 6ft apart from our caravan to their awning. I am sure they were breaking fire regulations. When site owners do this they are spoiling privacy and it seems to be greed to get more vans packed in.
We were very high and had gales got up - we had to take the awning down - the caravan was rocking that night.

Couldn't believe our luck, the sea view was amazing and the other three sides was hills. The site was very clean and tidy and a very friendly welcome, we liked it that much we have booked a week in July. there is a cycle path along the sea front and you can cycle till your hearts content. the only thing is you have to carry your bike up a few steps over the bridge which my husband did as I wasn't strong enough, but it was well worth it, there is a cafe along the way to Penmaenmawr. We also found excellent pubs if you walk through the gate at the back of the site and if you carry on walking there are hills to walk round with excellent views.

The site was well maintained and had sea views and overlooked the Great Orm. Toilet and shower facilities were good but lacked sufficient lighting. We anticipated the site would be tiered but where we pitched it was very exposed and would have benefitted from some kind of barrier to prevent the possibility of the caravan moving forward and falling into the caravans pitched below during high winds. There was an exceptional storm with high winds and rain while we were there and it was a very scary experience! There was no shop on site and the local village was inadequate for general shopping. Would have been a site we would want to return to if it wasn't for the close proximity of the A55 and the railway line.

Just got back from one of the friendliest sites we have ever been to. Unfortunately, our holiday was cut short by 4 days when the severe winds got the better of our tent and smashed it to bits. Everyone (staff and residents alike) were MORE than helpful in getting us sorted after we had to abandon our tent. All items inside were salvaged however. On a more happier note, the site is perfect for peace and quiet - everyone is friendly and courteous and the views on a clear day are out of this world. The toilet/shower block is one of the best seen in our experience - showers/hot water/freezing ice blocks are all free. With the breathtaking views over the sea and the fantastic staff, this site is everything and more than you could expect! Even the pub down the road has turned out to be OK - and they now do food which I believe hasn't always been the case. Enjoy....

We visited this site after reading the favourable comments of others, and were not disappointed. This is an immaculately maintained site with facilities of a very high standard. The site is arranged on terraces on a hillside, which means that everyone enjoys a fabulous view over the sea, framed by Puffin Island, Anglesey and the Great Orme.
Value for money is excellent and there are special offers for 7 day stays in September and October. Minus points ? Well the main toilet block lighting seems to be on a timer switch (no manual switches visible) and never seemed to be on when most necessary. Also pitches seemed to be a trifle too close to each other. Did not use the local shops or pub. We will certainly return
