We stayed at this site for four nights and had a great time. Pam and her team were very friendly and helpful. It's the first site we've been to that takes you to your pitch and offers to help you set up.
Shower block and loos were the best we've seen. The views were brilliant, all the pitches had excellent ones. We are defo going back, my son and partner are going with their tent.
The Gladstone Pub was a 2 min walk down the lane, the food was very good. This site is well worth a visit.

We took our little dog who loved going down to the beach, a 10 min stroll, shops were on the way to beach.

Lovely site, facilities great and spotlessly clean, owner very helpful. Pitches fine but on a slight slope (which our dozy mates forgot and left a groundsheet out, then they flooded haha). Site has really good views, and you not overlooked where we pitched. The pub at the bottom of drive is great, meals lovely, and Conway and Llandudno really close by. Had a fab weekend stay here and would deffo go again.

Excellent location, cxcellent Views and facilities. Easy Access. 5 Star Toilet Block. No kids - bliss.

We enjoy pub food and a walk and although there is a pub literally outside the site, the best are in the village a good 20-30 minute walk away. Good trout fishing and sea fishing within 5 mins drive. Handy for A55 to Anglesey or Llandudno. We use this site every year at least once.

Lovely! Super site - views great! Loos, showers excellent. We had a great weekend here - wall-to-wall sunshine helped of course!

Our pitch was on the bottom terrace - I initially felt a tad cheated as I couldn't see the view when sitting down outside (I know, I know - seriously pickly!), but the views from the park was something we chose it for. However, we found that we had more privacy - as no one over-looking us, also we didn't have lots of other 'vans to look across.

Pub at the end of the drive is lovely - didn't eat there but food looked great, if a bit pricey.

The village itself (15 mins walk) is a bit run down, but has good beach access, with a nice little cafe. The village also has a good Spar shop, bakers etc.

Conwy is lovely too - small, attractive town. Take the mountain route - fab drive. You'll find a couple of pubs on the route which we plan to check out next time.

We have booked again for August Bank holiday - can't wait! Even if the road noise is a little intrusive.

Came here for 3 nights over the may day bank holiday, the weather was glorious, and the views of the sea in front, and the mountain behind was brilliant. We were pitched at the bottem of the park, and we still had a sea view, pitches are quite big enough, I think ours was one of the largest as we were at the end of the row. As described the facilities are excellent and kept very clean, as is all of the campsite.

The dog walk is just that, round an open sided field, but you can let them run free in the large enclosed field that you have to walk through to get to the beach, which is dog friendly, and looks lovely when the tide is out.

The pub at the end of the drive is very nice, and they do some really good meals. Shops are a 10 minute walk away, and there is also a chippy. There is also a bus stop outside the site entrance, and I think it goes to Llandudno, and colwyn bay.

Pam the owner is very friendly, as are all her staff, and you can walk past her house to climb up the mountain at the back of the site. A site well worth visiting.

Great site. Showers are hot but if you choose the first shower on the left in the ladies it's not as hot as the one near to the window. Lovely walk, about a mile to a lovely bistro from the back of the site. Along the sea front if you walk along the path to Penmaenmawr you come to a fantastic value for money cafe. The lunches are really reasonably priced and welcome on a cold blustery day. If you climb the hill up to the centre you will find a well stocked Spar. From here you can walk down a road back to the site. The pub at the bottom of the the drive to the site is very welcoming and serves well cooked food. Needless to say we have booked for 2008 and intend to visit often.

Where do I begin? How can I sum up just how good this site is? Excellent facilities, fantastic scenery, friendly owners, easy to get to, loads to see and do, it has it all.

With the bonus of being a great break from family life for those of us whose children have grown up!

The pitch was great, nice and close to water and the superb shower block. But the view. Wow! We spent 2 days just sat admiring the beautiful panorama! (The weather helped).

I can usually find something wrong, a little annoyance or minor criticism. But no, not a thing; I have never been on such a nice friendly site, it was so relaxing and we had a great time. Special mention must go to the wonderful facilities and excellently landscaped pitches; it is a step ahead of many sites.

The local area is just beautiful, and I would recommend you take a trip around the toll road on The Great Orme, about a mile along there is a road to the summit and one of the best views ever. Although a day spent roaming around Snowdonia gave us plenty more memorable sights.

What is the best recommendation I can make? Well, I looked at my wife on the last night as we sat, beer & wine in hand, and asked if she would like to come back. 'You don't even need to ask that!' she said, 'Yes, I'd go back. wouldn't even have to think about it'.

Overall a nice site, but for us it could have been better:

The shower block is very nice, about the best we've been to and wide cubicles, but you can't alter the temperature of the water and as I don't have the skin of an elephant it was way too hot for me. More so as it was hot weather and I prefer a cooler shower but I had to fry instead. Wifey loved her hot showers though!

The tent area (not exclusive to tents though) is at the bottom right of the site, close enough to the toilet/shower block and water point, but lacking in the views the rest of the site has. Mostly sloping pitches which is fine in a caravan, but a tent can't be levelled so everything in the tent was constantly sliding down the slope. This was including us in the night which meant we had to slide our airbeds back up during the night.

It was also quite sheltered, which good for some people, for us it made it hotter and the millions of midges used me as an "all you can eat banquet" - not nice having 60+ insect bites on my body.

As dog owners, a dog walk area is a must, but the dog walk here is a small grassy area with a path formed by mowing around it. It was open on 2 sides and was alongside the entrance roadway and the main road. Dogs had to be kept on a short lead (rules) but wouldn't be safe off the lead due to proximity to the road.

Walking along the beach when the tide was out was nice, but not easy to get to because of the main A55 road and Railway line between you and the beach. We had to head to the train station and go underneath to the beach.

Not that it bothered us, but for the record, the average age of campers when we were there was post retirement age!

Still a very nice site - maybe we're too fussy!

Just got back from spending 6 wonderful nights at this site.
The staff are very friendly and will go to every length to help you out when you get to your pitch.
Toilet block is by far the best we have come across, they are spotless.
The views are breathtaking.
There's a pub at the bottom of the site which will be open for next season and a good Austrian restaurant in the village. A1 site and one that we will revisit
