We have just come back from a wonderful week at this campsite! Facilities are excellent. The toilets were always clean and there was never any need to queue for a shower. We went for a meal at the near Temeside Inn, just to let everyone know the meals for quite expensive and quite terrible! We had to wait an hour and twenty minutes for our meal. The only other downside was the amount of dog mess! People did not seem to like to use the dog litter bins even though the site has plenty scattered across the site.

This was our second visit to Westbrook. We arrived about 7:30 on the evening by which time the staff had vacated the office, but they left outside on a notice board an A4 piece of paper with your name on it, a map of the site and your pitch indicated, which I thought was a good idea.
The site was very well cared for, showers/toilets very clean. Staff are laid back and friendly. The Kids play area was of good size and very tidy. Nice walks by the river. Good pub only 5 mins away although I would recommend 'The Boot' in Orleton, Ye Olde Pub with home cooked meals, very reasonably priced too. Not a bad word to be said.

A lovely peaceful site.
We arrived late and the people greeting us couldn't have been more helpful. Spacious, quiet and tidy. The shower and toilet blocks are always clean and warm and charge 10p for a 7 minute shower. The playground was brilliant and kept my son amused for hours with the new friends he had made.
There is a nearby pub called the Temeside which sold good food, beer was good and they were really friendly. Tenbury Wells is approx 3 mile drive where you have a small selection of pubs, take aways and a small supermarket. Would love to visit this site again and would highly recommend.

Agree with all recent comments as to cleanliness, peacefulness and on a fully serviced, spacious pitch. Visited the Temeside Inn next door and found it friendly to visitors as well as locals, food served from six pm and the meal I had was plentiful (mains from about £7), there is a separate dining lounge as well as the bar. The pub does real ales but found them a bit lacklustre.
Didn't see any buses so don't know about public transport. Area looks good for walking. Paid £19/night.

The entire park is immaculate and very well looked after. The pitches are all very spacious, fully serviced (including TV), level, hardstandings, partly separated by Beech hedges and large grassy areas.
The park is situated in an orchard, close to the River Teme, with ample countryside paths to follow, and lots of sheep to dodge! We were there while there was an abundance of lambs
The toilet and shower blocks are excellent, always very clean, with plenty of hot water (10p for a 7 minute shower). The dishwashing and laundry facilities were also of a very high standard, (the sinks come with plugs and washclothes!).
The site is very peaceful and quiet, but close enough to the main road to make access easy.
Historic Ludlow is close by, and worth a visit. Worcester is also within driving distance, if bigger shops are required! I would also encourage a visit to the SpaceGuard Centre, (approx 30 minutes away), where you will learn about all the asteroids and comets heading Earths way, and what the plans are to deal with them. Scary stuff!
The site has no shop, so stock up on essentials before you arrive, although Tenbury is approx 10 minutes drive away if you do need to shop.
The children's play area had a selection of equipment, and was in very good order.
The Tameside Inn is just over the bridge, approx 5 minutes walk, but we didn't visit.
Overall, a very impressive site, if you like peace and quiet, and we would certainly visit again!

This is the second time we have stopped at Westbrook and I was determined to comment on this visit for all the good reasons. This site is lovely well thought out, with spacious pitches and all you need on tap.
The Wardens are very friendly and will stop and talk to you at anytime of the day. You see them all the time checking over the site.
Also I would like to mention the Tameside Inn over the bridge, I went in there on the Friday night of our arrival and found all the locals very friendly indeed. We also visited on the Sunday lunchtime and we had one of the nicest Roast Dinners I have ever had. After speaking to the man behind the bar on the Friday evening he informed that the pub had been through a rough patch due to previous tenants and they were only just getting the pub back to some form of routine. Well they are doing a pretty good job so I would recommend you visit the place.

This was our first outing with our new caravan and we had a great time.
Very tidy, organised site with spacious pitches.
The orchard setting is beautiful, along with the riverside walk. Toilet block clean and tidy with hairdryer.
Our two young children loved the play area and spent most of their time there. No cycling was allowed around the site which was disappointing as we had taken their bikes.
We didn't get a chance to try the Temeside Inn, there was a flyer saying family specials between 5 & 6 o clock but when we got there it wasn't open. Children were hungry so we ended up going into Tenbury Wells for chips.
Ludlow is a lovely little town and we all enjoyed our visit to the castle.
Would highly recommend.

Just back from a 2 night stay at Westbrook while visiting the Ludlow Food Festival. Very pleasant site with spacious pitches amongst old apple trees, mature hedges and neatly mown grass. Although the site was full when we were there - I think most were there for the festival - peace prevailed and all campers were quiet and respectful.
Toilet and shower facilities were clean and adequate (my wife did have to queue a couple of times for the ladies' showers, but no problem in the gents), and the indoor wash up area excellent.
We noted a very good children's play area away from the pitches and the area alongside the river is lovely, with benches amongst the trees. From here there's a pleasant walk downriver or a short stroll through an old orchard brings you to the Temeside Inn, with an attractive riverside garden and reasonable, good value food.
The Ludlow Food Centre, about a 15 minute drive away, is an excellent place to stock up on foodie provisions and nearby Tenbury Wells is a very pleasant little town. We'll be returning to enjoy the delights of Ludlow without the thousands of people the festival attracts!
All in all a really excellent site in a lovely area which we would definitely visit again.

This was our first visit to this site and what a lovely surprise. Large flat fully serviced pitches, clean toilets and showers, fishing on the nearby river, friendly staff and a pub within 5 minutes walk. What more could you ask for from a site !
Plenty to see in the area. Ludlow has plenty to offer.
We will be returning again next year for a longer stay.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Excellent well laid out site set in orchard by river. Each pitch was flat and spacious with water, electric and TV hook up.
Site was immaculate, only two showers in each toilet block but this was not a problem.
Owners were really friendly and helpful.
Site was quiet with mainly touring caravans and older couples but several familes with young children. Children, including our daughter, really enjoyed the playground and play field.
Lovely walks by river and if you are into fishing then river looked excellent. Pub was five minute walk and serves special offers mon-fri which were very good.
Ludlow and tenbury were short drives away and well worth a visit.
Only possible downside although it didn't bother us is that there was no shop and you need to drive to get to shops .
Overall a brilliant site we would stay at again and intend to visit other sites run by same family because they look to be of the same high standard.
