Well, what a difference to our last visit. The site is still very well looked after and improvements and additions have been made to the riverside area.

However, there are a lot of tents, some 'collectives' where two or more caravans or tents are gathered together and there are children still playing outside (after 10pm).

To add to the mayhem there is loud, throbbing music coming from the Temeside Inn. We have booked for 10 nights and this is only the second night!

I have only given an overall rating of 7/10 because of the noise.

Was recommended this site by a work mate who has used it for a while now.

Very clean and tidy, level, fully serviced pitches. Toilets are modern and clean, park for kids, wife said reception was good with info of surrounding areas. About 3 miles to Tenbury Wells and 5 to Ludlow.

Local pub, Temeside inn has opened now and was told they'll be ready soon to serve meals, few good beers too. Hooked up caravan for return home and I double checked wires for lights, at that the owner was moving caravans back to compound, he must have noticed me messing about and he came over to see if I was ok.

Little things like that makes a lot of difference when choosing sites and I know we will definitely return.

This site is a full facility site. This includes water, electric and drainage direct to the pitch with free wi-fi. There is one toilet block which is kept immaculate and a WC emptying which has facilities for hand washing on completion of the emptying process. A play area for children with swings etc is supplied which is located at the entrance to the park.

The site is about 5 miles from Ludlow which is a very pleasant market town with many old interesting buildings. The national trust has 2 properties within a short distance, Berrington hall and Croft castle.

The site is immaculate in appearance with friendly staff.

The only black mark for the. Site is the poor wi-fi

We returned to Westbrook Park for a week at the end of August. This was the first caravan site we stayed on after we bought our caravan in 2012 and we have revisited 3 or 4 times since then.

For us, this is our favourite caravan site. It is mostly very quiet and peaceful (there are always one or two people who don’t seem to respect other people’s peace and quiet but that’s not the fault of the park management) and it’s location is perfect.

Right next to the River Teme. For birdwatchers, anglers, walkers, shoppers, lovers of historical buildings, or just those who like to relax and take it easy - there is something for everyone in the area. The site itself is impeccably clean and tidy - even over a busy August Bank Holiday weekend and the pitches are roomy, level and well kept.

The toilet/shower blocks have been refurbished and updated since our last visit and are vastly improved. They were the park’s one downside before but they have obviously taken note of this and ploughed the profits into upgrading.

Well done Westbrook Park and thank you for a wonderful week’s holiday. The hardest bit of the holiday was leaving to go home. We will be back and will recommend you to others.

Lovely site. Spotless and site staff really friendly.

Mr and Mrs Jones the owners go out of their way for you especially if you have any problems.

Highly recommend this site.

Yet another perfect weekend at Westbrook. Wonderful family run site, peaceful and very well run. Only but. What has happened to the local radio station in the shower block??

Loved listening to local info and weather updates, plus some good songs to sing along to whilst washing up! Please change back as current one sent me to sleep.

Really recommend this site, it's great value for money and fab location. *****

The site is amazing, it's quite clear the owners have worked hard to keep it looking as natural as possible, well done

Just arrived back home having stayed at Westbrook for 3 nights (wish we'd stayed longer).

I read through the reviews on the site before booking and read one or two (not sure which site they were on) that stated you had to go through an 'industrial site' to get to it. So far from the truth. It's an old grain store you pass that the owners now use to store caravans. It has a visitors car park to the access road side so to be honest you don't even notice it unless you look for it.

The park is really well kept and pitches are perfect. All fully serviced with water, leccie, power and drainage. Also wifi throughout the park (good speed & FREE :-)). The toilet/shower block spot on and piped music while you sit and contemplate the days adventures.

Dog waste bins throughout the park make for a spotless presentation. Through the rear gate you can access the dog walking area that also has picnic benches. Here you'll find access to the river Teme and if you have a rod licence you can pick up a day ticket from reception. One way along the river takes you to the church and the other to the pub - unfortunately still closed (check with site before booking if like us you want the odd pint before settling down for the night). The pub being so close was one of our tick boxes but even so it didn't spoil our weekend.

A short drive in to picture perfect Ludlow too.

All in all a lovely break at a lovely site. Thank you Westbrook Park - see you again soon

This was our second visit to this lovely site with friendly and helpful staff. Normally we wouldn't touch a family friendly site with a barge pole, but Westbrook has a large, grassed quiet area with signs prohibiting children, dogs and ball games and we chose a pitch overlooking this area.

All was well until a family, plus dog, pitched a tent on the area and proceeded to use it as their personal playground - dog and all. They were English, so I assume they simply chose to ignore the notices rather then not understanding them. Thankfully they only stayed a few days.

We had to approach new neighbours and ask them to remove their dogs from our pitch. I think that because of the layout of some pitches confusion can arise as to which grassed area belongs to which pitch. We always specifically ask, but problems might be avoided if new arrivals were escorted to their pitch and shown the extent of it. Perhaps the quiet area, children's playground etc could be explained at the same time.

The ladies bathrooms have been redesigned to give an extra shower and 4 private wash rooms. All wash rooms have hairdriers. They were fine before, but they are now bright and modern.

The Temeside pub was closed at the time of our visit, although it looked as if it was on the verge of reopening. There is now a Tesco in Tenbury Wells. It's tucked away where the cattle market used to be, so look for the entrance on the left just over the Teme bridge.

Lots of National Trust and English Hereitage buildings to visit and beautiful walks with the dog along the banks of the Teme.

First time on this site, but you cannot fault the facilities shower blocks spotless/park well maintained/price good especially for the very large fully service pitch. The walk along the river bank was great as we were able to spot the kingfishers will definitely be going back, only down side was the pub had shut, but will be opening back up at some pointe we believe.
