We arrived on Monday 20th October a little later than expected due to a diversion on the A49 from the north. Karen who we spoke to when booking, was still waiting for us to when we finally arrived. The site was about a third full, and we were allocated a nice pitch by the open green. After setting up we looked over the facilities, which were fine, clean sanitary block, laundry room and chemical emptying room. All pitches were hard standing with waste water disposal, electric hook up and fresh water taps. And allowed plenty of space if you needed to put up an awning. The site was very well maintained and the grassed areas were in pristine condition. There was a nice walk along he river to the church at Little Hereford, but there was not much else to do there. The best walk along the river to the left of the site took you to the local pub the Temeside Inn about 300yds away. We went for a meal that evening only to discover that they do not serve food on Mondays, take note new visitors, but we visited on another night, and the food was beautiful with fairly good choices on the menu. I had the homemade steak and ale pie, and my OH had the filet steak with all the trimmings, all washed down with the local bitter and a glass of red wine, wonderful. You are close to the towns of Hereford, Leominster and ludlow. All have markets days, which are listed in the information cabin by reception, and well worth visiting for the local fruit and veg, cake stalls and local meats and cheeses. The staff were friendly and helpful and pointed us to the town of Tenbury Wells a short distance away for local shops and eateries. All in all we had a very good experience on this site and cannot wait for our next visit. I guess it is popular, because as we were preparing to leave on the Saturday plenty of vans were being brought out of the compound and people were arriving with their own caravans.

We have just stayed at Westbrook campsite for 4 nights and find it was very very good. You received a warm welcome from the reception, and were given as map of the site and told which pitch was yours. Pitches were hard standings and fully serviced which was great. Toilet and shower block were spotless and showers by a button which gave you 9 minutes you had plenty of time and water was not you had a free hairdryer as well. Could not fault the place will certainly be back again next year.

Just had our second visit to this site and it was just as good as the first.
My husband and I were camping in a Litchfield Sandwood 4+2.
The site is quite small with caravans, motor homes and tents mixed together. Every pitch has it's own water, drain, electric hook up and TV ariel point. Each has a hard standing as well as a grassed area and the rows are separated by 6ft. Plus hedging which is kept well trimmed. There are only two showers in the ladies but I never had to wait, there are three cubicles each with a hand basin and four toilets. The showers are on a 7 minute timer and there is a hair dryer available - all this is included in the cost of the pitch.
There is a small play area for children which looked quite adequate and several children were playing but under supervision of parents/grandparents.
The site is very well maintained and the owner and his wife are often tootling around doing odd jobs and checking everything is in order. Close to the reception is a little Information kiosk and book exchange so no need to be short of something to read!
There is a small apple orchard alongside the area where the pitches are, with seats and picnic tables alongside the river which is very popular with fishermen. A short walk along the bank takes you to the main toad and the local pub.
I think the fact that the owner is involved in the running of the site has a marked effect on maintaining the standards and the campers we spoke to were all really pleased with the relaxed, safe and friendly atmosphere on the site. Would highly recommend.

This site is immaculate and very well maintained. The toilet and shower block is very clean but no way is it luxury? with only 2 showers in the ladies and the gents. On Saturday a large party of teenagers(16 years and under) turned up with a very large tent. That was the end of peace and quiet. They walked about the site with cans of beer. We where watching the football and one youth came up to the caravan window so he could check the score?
You could still hear them to well past midnight with no regard for any one else on the site That was a bad move Westbrook and many people where not happy.

This is our last day after a two week stay on this wonderful site. Iam writing this review on site because the free wifi is so good. This is a total gem of a campsite and one not to missed. On arrival we were met with a very warm welcome and shown to our perfect large super pitches complete with our own tap and drain tv ariel on a roll and electric hook up point. What a treat ! Most sites this is normally only given to the caravan owners not here everyone is given the same 5 star treatment. The surrounding area is stunning set in farmland with a river running alongside the site. The dog walking area is immaculate with plenty of bins. My little dog had fun playing with the fallen apples from the trees in the orchard. There is a pub just through the orchard which is brilliant but take a torch at night to see your way home and if you forget the landlord will lend you one. The showers and toilets on the site are kept spotless with plenty of hot water and constantly maintained and cleaned I've never had to wait for a shower in the whole two weeks I've stayed here. The shop has a good selection of basic shopping and is open whenever you need it. There is a book lending cabin also which was great as we were able to leave a few books for others to read. The whole site is so well maintained it puts others to shame and I have been camping for ten years averaging 4 trips a year to different sites all over England and this one comes out top. The staff are so helpful and always stop to have a chat to make sure everything is ok and you will always get a lovely smile and a wave from alwyn as with all the other staff members.
I would definitely recommend a trip to Ludlow, Hereford, Shrewsbury and the village of Tenbury wells 3 miles from the site that will supply most of your shopping needs. The nisa store has a butchers within called bowketts please try their sausages and pies you won't find better. Delicious ! Weve bought some to take home. There really is so much to see and do and even if it rains you won't come back to a water logged pitch as they are so well drained. This site more than deserves it's 5 star rating and I would give it more if it were possible. All in all we've had a fantastic holiday and will definitely be back. Thank you to everyone at westbrook you really made our holiday a holiday to remember.

We have just returned home having spent 3 nights at Westbrook Park. What a lovely spot. The site is immaculate, neatly manicured grass areas all pitches are fully serviced with water, wast, electrify and tv hook up. Toilets are well maintained and spotless, yes there are only two showers but we didn't need to wait at all, it seems that most units on site were large with full facilities on board so that could account for low usage of site facilities?
The owner of the site regularly came round to check that all was well with users, this was a nice touch, it felt like we were with friends. Yes there are rules and thank goodness for them, this ensures that there is no disturbances, and mutual respect. It was a pleasure to be on such a well ordered site. This was borne out by the other people on site who were courteous and pleasant. Clearly people with shared values.
We will return to Westbbook Park many more times in the future for its warm and friendly ambience, in a beautiful area within reach of quaint market towns and, importantly to us, a sensible check out time of 12. 00pm which gives us time for a decent breakfast before packing up and leaving

Spent 8 nights at this well maintained and spotlessly clean site. It has concrete hardstandings with gravel for awning and grass areas between pitches. It is a quiet site but has a children's play ground and football area. The dog walk is next to the very clean River Teme, where children were playing and also some benches for relaxing or picnics. Bikes and scooters are not allowed near the pitches.
The facilities were very clean and even though site was busy only had to queue once.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Reception has a few grocery items but you will need to travel to Tenbury or Ludlow for serious shopping.
There is some road noise but we did not find it a problem.
Loads to do in the area and the local pub is dog friendly and serves 'pub grub' which was reasonably priced and good standard despite being very busy when we called in.
There was an overall friendly atmosphere and a mix of unit types. We would definitely visit again.

We were amazed to read the strange comments on the previous review as they clearly have stayed on a different site to us! We both found the whole site beautifully kept and very peaceful All facilities I. E power, water waste drainage and TV connection are easy to hand. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners and staff and we were made very welcome. It is true there are only two showers in the ladies and gents and may be a problem with a totally full site but we did not have any issue during our stay. The site situation is excellent by the side of the very pretty river and makes a lovely short walk to the very good pub just over the bridge. Not too far from Ludlow and Tenbury Wells and many other places within easy reach.

Very neat, very tidy, very clean, very boring, very soulless. A very jolly, pleasant receptionist embodied the only personality the site had. It was eerily quiet, with no obvious signs of anyone actually enjoying themselves.
We are not rowdy party animals, but found the site like something from The Stepford Wives.
With all the empty double axled vans (we noted that only half the cars that were there actually had towbars fitted) and Wimbledon smooth lawns (no playing allowed) it was like some bungalow suburb. The concrete rafts, each with their own gravel patch next to it, completed the illusion of some synthetic world.
No views - unless you want to stare at a lawn - and a nearby pub devoid of much charm.
A toilet and shower block from 2001 a Space Odyssey (complete with movement sensor lighting and piped music even in the middle of the night)was faultless.
It isn't cheap and is a fair distance from Ludlow or Tenby unless you drive. Really, you could be anywhere.
I have no doubt that many caravanners will enjoy this, but if you want somewhere with character, charm, views and a friendly feel, I would look for somewhere else. It isn't too cheap, either.
I appreciate that many will have a different view and will have had a different experience, but for us, on this particular visit, it was not our sort of thing.

Facilities were excellent as was the upkeep of the park. There seemed to be a lot of seasonal vans stored so rates must be reasonable. The dog walks and other walks from the site were top notch. The downsides were concrete rafts which I guess is a personal dislike and the road noise which we found very annoying.
