A fantastically neat and tidy site not a blade of grass out of place very large pitches with water waste electric hook up and TV ariel connection to each pitch. Constantly maintained by friendly staff who always wave as they pass. We booked at the last minute and got caught in traffic causing delays none of this was a problem to the site owner. I'm quite new to caravan towing but was expertly guided on to my pitch by staff member who explained where everything was on site (and exactly how many steps it was from our van to the PUB! Nice guy)
Yes there are rules but no it's not a prisoner of war camp with guards patrolling every ten mins, they are just sensible for the pleasure of all and to keep the site pleasant for other visitors and they are put across as requests rather than orders :) The toilet shower blocks and chemical waste are all spotless and the local radio is played (quietly in the toilet/shower block. It's called 'SUNSHINE 855 am' and plays a mixture of old and new and pretty accurate local weather forecasts)
Allsorts to see and visit within 20 miles castles towns markets etc local shops/petrol station 10 mins away. Gas is available on site all in all a very nice place to stay will be using this site again

Have to agree with people on this, our pitch was excellent, all weather and very large. Caravan on concrete, awning in gravel and still room to walk around without going on the grass, just as well considering the weather. Didnt use the showers as ours is brilliant and the grey water goes straight into the drains, couldnt quite understand the 10p charge it seems neither here nor there! Grounds are kept perfect, lawns and hedges so neat. Skip the local Temeside inn food very limited, go instead to 'the ship' at tenbury wells, food all homecooked and superb. By the way watch for the turning to the site from the main road, comes up on you before you know it. Would definitely visit again

Just come back from Bestparks Westbrook site (5 mins from Tenbury Wells and 15 mins from Ludlow in the car) after spending a week-end with my husband and 2 children in our touring caravan. We are so glad that we booked this site as it is beautiful. Tents are welcome also. Myself and my family cannot fault this site. We arrived Friday afternoon and my husband reported to the reception area and he was given a map of the site (which indicates where your pitch is) and was given directions to our pitch by the very friendly chap at reception.
Our pitch was hard standing surrounded by grass and next to our pitch was a wooden picnic table to seat upto 6. We used this throughout our stay so there was no need to unpack are table and chairs from the car. Not all pitches had a picnic table - they were just dotted about. We put our own parasol in the middle of the table. We took the option for an extra £1 per night to use their tv ariel hook up. We were told that we couldn't get any digital channels as yet but our digital tv picked up quite a few digital channels throughout our week-end. We also had our own water tap and waste disposal drainage. All the pitches were very well spaced out with plenty of room for an awning (if required) and your car and still enough room to put out chairs and tables (if required). Each pitch was approx 15/20 ft away from the next one. The site even provided the bricks to raise BBQs off the grass (what more could you ask for).
Even though our caravan has a shower, we used the site's facilities (7 minutes for a shower and all for 10p). In my book, that's fantastic value. The shower block has its own toilets and sinks. There are 2 sides to this block (one for men and one for women) and there is also a family room. Each sink is in its own alcove with a curtain behind for privacy.
You are surrounded by fields and there are plenty of walks through this fields and to the River Teme (literally seconds away). The children enjoyed walking in the fields as they were full of sheep. 3 minutes walk from our caravan along the river, we came across a beautiful pub (we bumped into many people at the pub who were staying on the site). On the site, there is a lovely play area for the children (open from 9am to 9pm children to be supervised by an adult. Next to play area, there was a big grassy area for ball games and general playing.
We journeyed into Ludlow during our stay and visited the Ludlow Castle. It is huge. The children loved it as they were able to climb stairs and explore and go right to the top of the castle. We parked our car at the park and ride. Very reasonable, adult return 70p and child return 30p. Back at the site, no traffic noise from any roads, just the occasional baa from a lamb in the distance and a few wood pigeons. What bliss! On our day of departure you need to leave by 12 noon but we paid an extra £3 and were able to stay until 6pm. Excellent. Would definitely recommend this site and we will be returning soon.

After looking for somewhere for a quite long weekend, came across Westbrook, very glad we did. What a lovely site.
Large pitches. Brilliant idea for grey waste being able to move it nearer the outlet pipes. Toilets / showers very clean & tidy with local radio station being played.
Had pitch near the River Teme, abundance of wildlife.
Kids playground away from pitches which is good for the neighbours.
Dog walk very safe with a good stroll along the river to the church.
Walking the other way through the orchard is the pub, nice meals and a nice pint. Walk takes all of 5 mins if that.
We will be returning to Westbrook

Stayed for a week at this park in May 2009 pitches are large and fully serviced. Excellent site, level pitches good facilities showers wash rooms etc. Staff were very helpful
The site is situated next to the river Teme (fishing available)and there is an orchard between the site and river. A short walk along the river bank there is a pub (good food)
Westbrook Park has easy access and the site is serviced by tarmac roads. We look forward to staying there again.

More than I expected! and can second all that's been said before.A very well laid out site that's a credit to the owners.
Flat roomy pitches, and your car is right by you but not obstructive or spoils others views. Making it so easy to pack/unpack.And with TV, power, and water point also to hand making it such an easy and pleasant set up.
The toilets/showers are 1st class, real road and pathways around the site so even with bad weather you won't muddy your abode!
What you must keep in mind though is that it entails a car journey to even do a basic shopping trip.
For the more adventurous, you have a good stretch of the river Teme for fishing, walks etc and ideal for the dog lovers.
For those with youngsters! to be honest, concerns on the close proximity of the river and the steep banking calls for vigilance. They have a basic play area and lots of space for ball games.
They have a riverside orchard! that for a picnic or just to sit and take five is a real bonus.
The local pub is a short walk away that offers good food, but did lack ambiance.
All in all a peaceful site set in a glorious area.
We hope to make many more visits to this lovely site.

Went to Westbrook for the weekend as a 'final' camp of the season. We booked it the week before, and the place was full. Despite being full, it was the quietest campsite we have ever been to!
The site itself is very well laid out and some thought/time/money has gone into making it a very good site. Each pitch has its own water, elec, aerial, drain.Etc The pitches are probably 10m x 10m and then there is a concrete parking spot for your car. The toilet/shower block is the cleanest that I have ever seen.
The rows of pitches are separated by hedges which meant that we never even unpacked the windbreaks. The pitches had been recently returfed and the whole place is well maintained.
They are very strict on where you put your tent, and even my day tent had to be away from the main tent. Despite coming to tell us that we had to move the day tent and one of the other tents, the staff were great.
The kids area and ballgames area are all in one part, and there are no bikes/scooters/etc allowed so the site was very quiet. That wouldn't be to everyones taste, but as we had young kids, it meant that they were safe from older kids whizzing around on bikes etc.
With a dog walk and fishing only a few yards away it caters for most people.
We took 3 other tents with us including a father and 12yr old son who had never been camping before, and we all really enjoyed our stay. As its only 45mins away from home, I can see this being a regular for a quick couple of days. I cannot find any fault with the place and will be going back and will be trying the other 3 sites that come under the Bestparks banner.

What an excellent find. The pitches are all level and large and the site is quite and in a lovely setting, with a great pub (Temeside Inn) serving good food and drinks and has no problem with children. Facilities at the campsite are good and clean and come complete with piped music!
Plenty of places to visit in the area and can recommend Tenbury, Leominster, & Ludlow. If you like good food also worth visiting Ludlow food centre just to the north of Ludlow.
Will be coming back.

Just spent a peaceful 4 day break on this lovely caravan site. It was so nice to be able to have drinking water, waste, electric and a television aerial connection on each pitch. We were told that the television reception was not very good unless you had your own satellite dish so we opted to pay £1.00 extra per night to have our own aerial connection. At the moment you cannot receive any digital channels.
We were on pitch 7 which was perfectly placed opposite a large expanse of grass (like a small field) that is kept free from caravans or tents so, therefore, you had no-one directly opposite you.
If you are a member of the National Trust there are a few properties to visit not far from the sight. There is no shop on the site and the nearest town is Tenbury Wells, which takes about 10 minutes by car to reach where there are grocery shops, etc. For you to be able to obtain anything you may require. Ludlow is also about a ten to fifteen minutes drive away. We also enjoyed a meal at the local pub which is just a five minutes walk from the site. We would recommend this site to anyone that wanted a quiet break away.

Just returned from a weekend away at Westbrook Farm Park. If peace and tranquility is what you are looking for then this is the place to be. Its in a very pretty location, adjacent to an orchard and offering a stroll along the River Teme. Electric hook up, water hook up and waste water drainage made it worth paying the £16 per night plus £3 for the children. The play area was set back from the caravans/tents so there was not too much noise, however you could still see that your children were safe. The toilet/shower block was very clean/maintained with piped music. The chemical disposal point was a bit disappointing in comparison to the rest of the site - located by the rubbish bins and offering no shelter from the rain. Cycling was not allowed around the site due to safety reasons (which was a bit disappointing for the children) but overall it was an excellent site which we will definitely be returning to again.
