Just come back from a two night camping stay at Westbrook. It's situated on the River Teme and its so peaceful and the first thing that struck me was how neat and tidy the campsite is. The toilet and shower facilities are also really clean. Spotless! If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful retreat this is perfect although I do feel it's not for younger children. No ball games are allowed and no riding bikes or scooters which will be a sign of relief to some people. The reason why I didn't give Westbrook 10 out of 10 is there's no shop for essentials on site and I think it benefit from such a facility.
Thank you for a wonderful stay

I chose Westbrook Park rather than the Caravan Club site for its location and very positive reviews, and it lived up to expectations. The facilities were excellent, having hard standing pitches with individual water, hook-up and waste pipe. The toilet and shower block was very well maintained and had very good facilities(though I could have lived without local radio broadcast day and night). The layout of the site is extremely spacious, and includes a large green (no ball games, no dogs) which we looked out on. The location beside the River Teme was delightful, a feature not offered by other sites in the area, with easy access to riverside walks. Wonderful Ludlow is only 20 minutes' drive away, and the location is very convenient for the two National Trust properties. For such a well-provided and well located site, we were surprised how few pitches were in use, and many that had caravans on were not occupied while we were there. Alwyn did say it was exceptional in their experience. Maybe it was because the weather forecast for the weekend was not promising. However our stay was made even more memorable by the fact that the weather was actually gloriously sunny throughout almost every day.

Just returned from eight nights at this site. One of the best we have visited. Staff very welcoming and informative. Single modern toilet block always clean and tidy. Seven minutes free shower time found to be more than adequate. All hard standings with full services had ample room for van, awning and car. Pub within walking distance, across bridge to opposite bank of river. Choice of local beers to accompany excellent food from diverse menu in the bar. Many attractions and towns within easy driving distance. All in all excellent site in choice location. No children with us on this trip, but facilities in playground area appeared excellent. Only comment to improve to 10 out of 10 on all aspects would be a small shop for essentials.

We have just returned after 2 weeks at Westbrook and wish to recommend the site to anybody interested. There is lots of space between units. Pitches have electric points, TV, fresh and grey water drain facilities with free wi fi available. The owners and staff are helpful, friendy and polite. There is easy access to the dog walk by the River Teme and a couple of minutes walk to the Temeside Inn. The site has an air of peace and tranquility. The lovely town of Tenbury Wells is a few minutes drive away and the Rose and Crown there is well worth a visit. Many thanks to all at Westbrook for a lovely stay, we shall return.

Have just stayed for two nights and must say a very nice well laid out site, pitches are very generous with both individual waste and water connections per pitch, toilet block always clean and tidy and the site staff friendly and willing to help, The local pub approx. 200yds from site does good food and a wide range of ales and there is also a nice riverside walk, due to being out of season did not get chance to sample the fishing but river looked okay, will definitely be back.

I hate to put these comments but here goes. We have been going to Westbrook now for over 6/7 years we have found this year that the prices are getting a bit ridiculous £28 and also jumping on the greedy waggon of min 5 nights stay for bank holidays. Sorry mate but we wont be going as often as we used to. Plus the pub across the river has hiked the price of the meals £17 for an 8 oz steak meal which looked no different to the ones we used to buy there and the usual menu has gone no pub favorites so ime out.

We stayed here to go to the Medieval Fair in Ludlow. Karen, the joint site Manager was really helpful on our arrival suggesting taxis if we felt we needed them to get into Ludlow because of the anticipated crowds visiting the town. We took her advice and that worked out really well as did the food at the local pub she reccommended, the steak & ale pie was fantastic!
We wanted to stay on another day and even though they were closing she was the very spirit of co-operation!
Because of our extended stay we were short of bread (of all things?) but again Karen and her Partner Phil came to the rescue!
Excellent site, wonderful people, we strongly recommend them

Westbrook Country Holiday Park is located next to the River Teme just outside Tenbury Wells. Although it one of the pricier caravan sites (£22 per night low season - even though their webpage currently shows £20), it boasts all-singing, all-dancing facilities - including a heated shower and toilet block (with piped music), laundry and washing-up room, disabled/family shower room, children's' play area, a tourist information outhouse, free wifi connection, comprehensive campsite lighting, as well as full and spaceous hardstanding plots with serviced drainage and individual water taps. Indeed, the plots even boast their own television aerial connections (just as well, because the reception using our caravan's roof aerial was non-existent, regardless of which direction we swivelled it!).
Beyond the site there are pleasant riverside walks with benches dotted about for watching the waters flow by. Just across the bridge is the Temeside Inn, which does great meals for about £10 per head.
There are supermarkets in Tenbury, Leominster and Ludlow for stocking larders, while the site is also handy for exploring the charms of Herefordshire and South Shropshire - including two beautiful National Trust properties (Berrington Hall and Croft Castle) that are just fifteen minutes drive away.
Westbrook Country Holiday Park is a well managed and maintained site, with friendly wardens who welcome you and offer you a full lowdown on what's where and how to get the best out of your stay. It makes an ideal place to relax by the river, fish, or explore the local towns and countryside.

Superb fully serviced site. Beautifully maintained and very attractive. Facilities are spotless and modern. Nice gentle walks to the church and beyond. Dogs can be off the lead on the walks off the site but need to be under control as there are lots of fishing pitches along the river. There is a good pub with excellent ales and well cooked pub grub at very reasonable prices. Well worth a visit.

Managers response:
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers for their reviews and cannot wait to see you all again very soon.
I would like to pick up on one point, that we do not take bookings for sixteen years olds and under without adults staying with them. We adhere to our policies to ensure a friendly and safe environment for all. At westbrook park we are a very quiet and peaceful holiday park set in a tranquil setting
