Two night stay 1st/2nd June. Very last minute booking. When I telephoned the polite owner answered and said that all hard standings were taken, but a grass pitch was available.
On arrival we were impressed with organisation - name and pitch number displayed on the private road entrance to site, so drove straight on to pitch and set up. Very tidy site, grass mown, clearly marked pitches.
Adult only site. Some noise from busy A49 but not over intrusive. Large static van holds small kitchen area, microwave, books and tourist information, two showers and one toilet.
The shower area is basic but adequate and at the price paid per night acceptable. Owner pleasant and helpful. Good base for touring Hereford and surrounding area.

We returned again this year to find many improvements since last year. It remains a tranquil adult only site in lovely countryside.
This site still ticks all the boxes for us with friendly helpful owners and good facilities, including free Wifi, a refrigerator/freezer and a microwave. We meet many campers who have like us have been coming here for years.
There are free range chickens on site providing fresh eggs and along with a rabbit family amusement.
The bus stop by the site is convenient for going into Hereford but it is only a short walk into Moreton on Lugg village that has a general store and an award winning fish and chip shop.
The city of Hereford with the famous Mappa Mundi, Leominster and attractive Ludlow [all these can be reached by bus].

We spent a few nights at this site and found it to be a really pleasant site with a nice feeling about it. I would agree with all of the other positive reviews and cant really find anything to complain about.
Loo, shower etc were basic but adequate. There were plenty of bits and pieces to read placed in reception which is where the WiFi is.
Good pitches with EHU and water on the pitch. The site is on the main road and so there is traffic noise but nothing that bothered us.
We didn't bother with the chippy but its only a ten minute walk away for those that want it.
Take note: If you are a dog owner, the local bus company "Lugg Valley Transport" do not allow dogs on their buses. We wont be going back because we couldn't get anywhere because the bus would not allow us on with our dog.

Having just bought a new tent, 7 person instead of our old 3 person, we wanted to get away for a long weekend just to try it out. And practise putting it up (there is just the two of us - we wanted the larger tent to spend 4 weeks in France next year).
We chose Cuckoo Corner for it's position, midway between Hereford and Leominster, it's over 18's policy, and for the very important fact that they take doggies!
We only provisionally booked 2 days before (and only confirmed that morning before arriving after lunch) but the pitch was marked ready for us. Peter introduced himself later and chatted freely about the site and local area.
The site is small, friendly, very well kept and too cheap for what you offer Peter! But, if you are happy we are!
A static van holds the loo, two showers, sink area, fridge freezer and sitting room full of tourist info and a small library of books to borrow. Another block houses a loo for the disabled. Another block holds washing-up and laundry facilities.
What else do you need?
We had a lovely four days. Could have spent another few quite happily.
And yes we got the tent up. An hour and a half up and three quarters of an hour down. It'll get better.
Only one thing that bothered us - not Peters fault in any way. If you take a dog here and use the may local footpaths PLEASE use doggie bags to clean up after them. Or stay at home!
We'll be going back to Cuckoo's Corner again.

We stopped over at this pretty little site the first few days in September. The location is perfect as Hereford centre is only 10mins away, and a highly recommended fish shop across the road.
The site is very clean and tidy, and the owner very efficient and friendly!
My wife and I enjoyed visiting the town, we also ventured on a round trip to leominster on to Worcester, and back down to ledbury. A beautiful little town we also visited and well worth it, was Ludlow.
The site is very quiet and despite the road noise you do feel that you are further in the country than you actually are. We will definitely return to this site on our next trip to the area.

Stayed one night on the way back from the West Country. Very easy access off the main road. Road noise is evident but did not keep us awake. The pitches are large and easy to access. Good hard standings for caravans and lots of EHU and water connections.
The facilities are very dated and the sloping floors making for an interesting washing/toilet experience. Its quirky but OK as long as you don't mind a rustic approach. All the facilities are clean if rather old.
Very nice owner very laid back about collecting fees. And for £12 a night with EHU you cant complain. The chickens running round add to the charm of the place. I would stay again as a stop over

What can I say. We arrived here at Cuckoo's Corner and was pleasantly surprised. We were given plot 18, not too far from the entrance. This was fine, we had no one adjacent to us on one side on the first night.
Did think the pitches a little small, but as we had no neighbours we thought it ok. Adrian didn't come out to us and we found him wondering round when we went to look for the facilities. These were good although thought maybe couple more showers for the amount of units would be better. Only 3 toilets in total and one of these shared, 2 showers available.
Our first night was dreadful, the road noise was deafening and we didn't sleep a wink, we showered and went out for the day thinking that we could sleep better the following evening. When we got back to our tent we found the other guests had arrived, we had been squashed into a very small area, their awning was almost to our wind break, we could hear them breath we were that tight.
They had a caravan and they were placed on a tent pitch. No where near big enough for their needs really. Yet there was available spaces in the next area by the wash facilities. We decided to pack up and come home.
Other than this it was a pleasant place, the fish and chips are a definite winner.
Sorry we will not be staying here again

We stayed here on the way home from Cornwall. It was very easy to find, being conveniently placed on the A49.
It is a very busy road, but the noise from it didn't keep us awake. We stayed for 2 nights. Both days we caught the bus from across the road from the site. Buses run every hour to Leominster and Hereford. The journey is only 10minutes to Hereford.
The showers and toilets are dated, but adequate and when paying just £12 a night for a hard standing pitch with electric I consider it good value.
The chickens where very friendly and there is a donkey and two ponies in the paddock next to the site - lovely!
A very relaxed site but with a secure feeling about it. Will more than likely stay again

As others have said this is a small site with an enthusiastic warden/owner.
The facilities are very antiquated and are all on a slope causing doors to swing open or closed and the water in the showers to run to one side!
There is obviously a relaxed attitude to children, the people on the next pitch had their grandson visit for the day, the very thing people go to adult only sites to get away from.
The pitches are very generous and level with water at each of the hardstandings. The real problem is the road noise which is constant and the reason we will not be returning to this site.
