Have just come back from this little gem of a caravan site.

It holds 20 pitches in total with most having its own water, electricity and TV cable, and most are hard standing. If you have pre-booked, there is a board at the entrance with your name on with pitch number. If you haven't booked, then you can choose your own pitch that's not booked, and ring the bells at the information desk. This will alert the owner, who is a really pleasant and jolly person.

The showers and toilets are clean. The access to and from the site is very good. The only slight downside (didn't bother us) is the main road, A49. It can be very noisy. There are also loads of rabbits.

Will I return? Yes, definitely.

All of the comments by other reviewers are correct about the facilities quality etc however.

There are not enough, the site was far from full and we all ended up queuing to use toilets and wash rooms in the morning.

The owner was also only interested in taking our money, we had two small one man tents that fitted into one pitch with room left over, he insisted that we paid full tent price for two tents. The only site to do so on our whole trip.

Also very annoying when we were pitched across from a tent big enough to sleep 6/8 people with a large car and trailer paying half what we did. Sorry more of the facilities and a bit less greed!

An excellent, very well run site with a friendly atmosphere and the owner has thought of everything an experienced caravaner would want. From the arrivals board at the entrance showing your pitch number, so no queues at Reception, to the provision of a fridge, freezer and microwave. Also dogs and awnings are free as is the WIFI (usually at least an extra £2 a day). An excellent dog walk. But, above all, the toilets/showers are exceptionally luxurious; proper rooms, no banging elbows. At first it would appear that the four toilets and two showers would be inadequate but the site was nearly full when we were there and not once did we have to queue. Certainly far superior to any CL I have visited. Highly recommended.

Great site with very well maintained hardstanding pitches and gravel area for awnings etc. Excellent toilets/showers and laundry area which was very reasonable price. Nice dog walks directly from the site and fish & chip shop 5 mins away in the village. Free WiFi throughout site and electricity, TV and water points at each pitch. Definitely worth the £15. 00 price.

Not far from Hereford which has all the shops inc Asda and Tesco, you can also take the bus there if you don't want to drive.

This is a small well organised site, better suited to caravans than tents. The grass pitches were flat and well kept. Pitches are marked out and are quite close together, making it feel a bit cramped. Pitches are allocated on booking.

Sited about 50m from an A road. A screen of trees keeps the site private from the road and reduces the traffic noise.

Picnic benches are available, but there is nothing the place a stove or cooker on to stop the grass scorching.

Showers and toilets were well presented. Facilities includes WiFi, washing machine and microwave in the washing up area.

SatNavs following postcodes direct you to a nearby house. The site is about 100m from this house, on the A road.

Stayed for two nights may 15. Arrived to find our pitch number by the entrance on board ready for us. Just drive to your pitch and set up. Adrian cam around later on for the fee. £30 for two nights, which is excellent as the shower/toilet facilities are immaculate!

Took the dog for a fabulous walk through the fields just to the left of the pitches. Rolling meadows and an orchard. Rabbits everywhere playing (cute!) they also have donkeys and chickens to the right side of the fields. Bus stop directly opposite the site for easy access into hereford or Leominster. Beside the showers there's an excellent information office with a bus timetable and hundreds of info leaflets for places to go and see/do.

There's also an ipad there where you can find info and take a selfie if you wish. Wifi is excellent on the site also.

Free for dogs and awnings, something most sites charge for!

Yes there is some road noise, but nothing excessive!

Would definitely return, thank you Adrian for a hassle free visit.

Just returned from this site, we enjoyed a peaceful long weekend away. The site has 2 showers/toilets and 2 separate toilets (all kept spic & span) and there is a freezer available as well as board games and books to loan plus wifi (all free). We had a few issues connecting to the wifi with our iPhones, but there are helpful instructions which resolved this (although to be fair we weren't too fussed about the wifi). Adrian met us soon after our arrival, a lovely chap who gave us lots of information and asked if there was anything else we needed to know. Very straight forward pitching; your name is on a notice board just before entering the site and the pitches are really easy to find.

Yes, the site is next to a busy main road, but as its during the day time not the night we didn't find this an issue. There are loads of places to walk the dog in open countryside, a nice village 500m away and a well stocked village shop. Can't thank Adrian enough for his lovely welcome and no fuss approach, if you're after an adult only peaceful environment in the countryside with easy access to the site this is for you.

Enjoyed three nights on this site at the beginning of January. We have visited before but were very impressed with the improvements. Adrian gave us a very warm welcome. Pitches are very spacious with electricity, water and TVs point. Wi Fi is also available. The facilities on site were very clean. The surrounding area is good for walking, there is a village near by with a shop, pub and fish and chip shop, also a chinese take away that will deliver to your pitch. Will definitely visit again.

We have just spent two nights at this campsite. It was everything we have expected. The location of the campsite was perfect for what we wanted, adult only, quiet and rural. Even though it is next to a main road this did not bother us. There were plenty of walks for the dog nearby. The pitch was perfect for our motorhome with a concrete hardstanding and shingle patch alongside for an awning. Each pitch had water, electric and a aerial connection. Facilities were more than adequate which were clean and well presented. The owners were extremely friendly and made us feel welcome.

We will be visiting again and recommend to all our motorhome friends.

This is the second time we have stayed here and I must say I think It is about one of the best small sites that we have stayed at. The site itself is immaculate, the shower cabins are clean and the showers are very good. I would recommend this site to everybody. As it is an adults only site it was nice and peaceful. The hard standing on all pitches enable easy parking and with every pitch having its own water supply makes life a lot easier.

I have noticed that someone complained about the traffics noise. As you can seen from the photos it is on the main road, but the noise was not constant nor did it cause any problems as it was quiet at night.

Once again I would recommend this site.
