We read other reviews on here and would say that our experience matches those from the reviews on here from late 2023 onwards. The site appears to be run remotely. You ring up and the owner tells you to pay the money to another caravan owner. Trying to be as honest as we can without damaging anybodies business.

The 2 Showers are red hot, albeit untidy. The waste toilet facility is a professional set up. There appears to be a number of people living on this site judging by the long grass around some of the awnings. Now, the bit we didn’t like…

We stayed here on a Saturday night and on one patch there were 3 caravans all next to each other. All 3 caravans were accompanied by Transit vans from a roofing company.

It would be fair to say that the 3 families living in these vans had a good old Irish knees up party between them on the Saturday night.

There is a really friendly, polite site warden called Dave who always seems to be grafting. He was happy to help with any question we had.

When we arrived we were shocked at the condition of the site as we had stayed there 8 years ago and couldn't fault it then.

The hardstandings were all overgrown with weeds etc, the toilets were run down, the general whole area was lacking care and attention. The waste bins in the toilets were unemptied the whole week we were there, when we got there the gentleman who is the contact on the site was unaware we were arriving. No microwave or fridge freezer as listed on website

We also asked how much we needed to pay each night, £23.00 as on the website, the guy there said it should be £25. 00 and asked were we paying cash or cheque.

This caravan site used to be so lovely, spotlessly clean at all times. We stayed there 8 years ago so booked again without looking at reviews.

It was difficult to book as emails were ignored, also the booking link on here was ignored too. We eventually got an answer on the phone after ringing mobile and land lines many times over a few days. We should have realised that things must have gone downhill.

The website is out of date as there is no microwave or fridge freezer. Also it says £23 a night and the chap tried to get £25 from us, when he eventually turned up!

There was no one there to tell is where to pitch so we chose the least scruffy. We couldn't get in touch with the phone numbers we were given for an hour

The toilets and showers were scruffy, so we chose to use our own facilities.

The bins in those facilities weren't emptied in 7 days. Hubby checked.

The hard standings pitches were filthy, covered in rotten leaves and the bit for awnings was full of weeds and nettles.

The site felt a little unsecure as there is no gate, no one around all day, apart from the weekend when 2 motor homes arrived.

The road noise has increased due to a business park, it wasn't there 8 years ago. Nothing to do with the owners of course just letting you know. We had earplugs so fine for sleeping

Nice little campsite with good facilities and handy for exploring Hereford or leominster.

Free Wi-Fi is a nice touch, good chippy 10 minutes walk away though closed onn Mondays.

Only downside is it right on the A49 so traffic noise might be a problem for some.

Our first visit to this site and will be the last!

After reading the reviews we were hoping for a clean and tidy site but sadly this was not the case.

The entrance is very overgrown and looks very untidy the entrance signs haven't seen a bucket of water for a long time.

We were there for 3 days and the toilets and showers weren't cleaned at all.

Guy the Warden was very friendly and helpful.

Loved the relaxed and easy going atmosphere of this site.

Thank you Guy for your considerate attitude.

There are toilets and showers together in a private room.

Really fast speed wifi and it's free! with water and electric on your pitch and a bonus of tv aeriel point, couldn't believe it!

We loved it for it's charm and will go back.

If you want bells and whistles this is maybe not for you but if you are looking for a gentle paced campsite give Cuckoo's Corner a try!

A quiet campsite situated between Hereford and Leominster with a bus stop right outside.

They didn't ask for payment in advance just for us to let them know if we couldn't make it for any reason.

The site warden phoned us the day before to check and welcomed us to the site with a good recommendation of where to eat out.

We particularly liked the heated bathrooms.

Arrived on the evening to find that Jason who we booked through hadn’t made the booking for us, however Guy who is on site took note and gave us a nice pitch which had the sun all day.

Site is not as bad as a previous comment made out, yes the site could be improved but the pitches are all flat, with electric/water and tv point on the pitch, the Wi-Fi (free) is brilliant (I watched F1 qualifying without a hitch)

Bus stops are outside the entrance to both Leominster and Hereford although the timetables at the stop are inaccurate (check the website for the 492 bus service)

All told, we really enjoyed our stay even though our pitch was the nearest to the road, we found it not to be a problem.

Note no card machine - cash/cheque or bank transfer

Showers/toilets are in wooden buildings but are clean and the water is hot at no cost.

No pubs in walking distance - nearest about 2. 8 miles away, but a fish and chip shop and grocery store within 15 minute easy walk.

Firstly no one will answer emails or the phone so we traveled 4 hrs not knowing if anything was open but luckily it was. First impression was how run down it was compared to last time we visited.

Long grass, weeds growing in the hard standings and generally unkempt. We then find out it has changed hands from Adrian to a big company and they are running it down to make it a static caravan park.

Its advertised as ADULT ONLY - OVER 18s ONLY, why then did a car turn up with 2 adults and 2 children (approx 16 yrs and 10 yrs old) and stay for 3 nights in a tent.

Dogs supposed to be kept on leads but non were even dogs from the village across the road roaming all over camp site (and we've got our own dog so not anti dog).

Road noise is loud but for us bearable but others found it unpleasant.

Do yourselves a favour and aviod this site

Owner absent which we can cope with but when we tried to phone them we got no reply.

The way to pay in cash was explained to us by someone apparently unconnected with the campsite.

Comprehensive library in information room.

Long pitches well spaced apart.

Lots of road noise during the day.

Okay for overnight stop.

Toilets and showers not available at time of visit. Water and electricity to each hardstanding pitch.
