Great little site just off the main road so a small amount of traffic noise. There are two fields and we stayed on the CC CL field so only a few vans and all hard standing and level so drive on, drive off, couldn't be easier. All pitches had EHU.
Toilets and showers worked fine and were clean if a bit old, but hey they worked fine. Plenty of visitor information available. Owner was very friendly. Good dog walk nearby through fields.
Easy walk to village but not a lot there. Award winning Chipshop won its award in 2007, but we didn't have any so cant say if they are still prizewinning. Site itself was nice and quiet as Adult only. Had Free Wi-Fi too. Would stay again.

This site is well worth a visit, quiet, well kept and the owner is very friendly. We were let down by our original camp site and phoned cuckoos corner from a car park 10 mins up the road on the off chance.
The owner was very accommodating telling us it wasn't a problem informed us of the pitch number we could have and said he would be round later to collect payment, we intended on staying just the one night until we could find somewhere else but ended up staying for 3 nights as there was really no need to go anywhere else. We went for the back to basics in a tent and even though the site is more geared for caravans we didn't feel out of place and the site had everything we needed, free showers, use of fridge & freezer, space and hot water for washing up, free wifi, there was even books to read and paintings for sale in the reading room. The facilities are a little quaint but are perfectly adequate and we never had to queue for the toilets even when the site was full.
We went for a visit to Hereford guided to the car park with directions from the owner, a day in Ludlow and a visit to the cheese making shop, we also walked into the local village to try the chip shop which is well worth a visit.
There is a main road running past the camp site which for 2 of the 3 nights didn't cause any significant noise but unfortunately they decided to re-surface the road on the 3rd night which couldn't be helped and some ear plugs did the trick.
We wouldn't hesitate to return to Cuckoos corner it is a tidy, quiet well run site, a credit to the owner

This is a lovely adults only small site. Nice pitches, and lots of animals especially chickens who seemed to take a liking to my OH even jumping on his lap!
Yes the facilities are a little 'quaint' and probably could do with updating but all free and clean and always lots of hot water.
The fees for this site are so reasonable and include everything except the washing machine & the dryer. There are even washing lines for you to dry things on. The owner is so sweet and kind and having read lots on the forums about charges & non returnable deposits this owner doesn't take one and you only pay when you arrive.
I like this site a lot! Unfortunately my hubby found it hard to sleep because of the road noise which was constant. I got him ear plugs and then he was fine. It is so close to so much.
The chip shop in the village is one of the best. We had a Chinese delivered to our pitch and that had some of the best chicken & sweetcorn soup ever. The site has a leaflet which gives you precise directions to the car park in the middle of Hereford, brilliant! We went to see the Mappa Mundi & that was beautiful.
All in all a site I want to go to again and one to recommend.

We have just returned from a week at this site and can honestly say, we did not want to leave.
The owner greeted us as soon as we arrived and was very chatty, friendly and welcoming. Throughout the week it became evident how hard this man works on the upkeep of the site, he never stops and it shows!
The site has a great location in an area surrounded by things to do and places to go. Some traffic can be heard from the main road but nothing major. The pitches are ideal and the whole site is just beautiful. Numerous chickens run free around the site and are extremely tame with one jumping into our caravan as soon as we opened the door and another jumping on my knee as I was eating outside! Highly entertaining.
The TV and WiFi signals are strong which is a must for us and the WiFi is free. The price we paid was £85 for our touring caravan for the two of us for one week with no additional fee for putting up our awning. Bargain!
The local chip shop is a short walk away and there are local take-aways that deliver right to your pitch. There are also many cider factories around that offer tours and tasting, not to be missed!
Our only downside (and it really is only the one) was that the shower/toilet facilities are extremely dated albeit very clean. We would rather pay that bit more and have more up to date facilities. But as they were very clean, this didn't phase us too much.
Would recommend this site to others without any hesitation.

A little gem, small flat, sheltered. Very quiet site but with a lovely homely feel about it. Ideally situated just North of Hereford, plenty to do in the area.
Yes the facilities are best described as 'quaint' but the toilets and showers are clean and functional even if the floor does slope a little, and as the site is populated mostly with caravanners,
We never had to queue to use either the toilets or showers throughout a long weekend when the site was full.
The chip shop in the village is worth a visit, try to catch the Friday/Saturday only curry it was well worth the 10 minute walk from the site.
Will definitely be returning as only a 2 hour journey for me so suitable for 3/4 day breaks.
Not sure I've seen it mentioned in other reviews, but besides the strong wifi signal across the whole site, there is also excellent TV reception without having to resort to erecting a high aerial.

Love this site before we saw it! Adrian was prompt replying to an email query and just as prompt making the requested reservation. No deposit requested which was lovely.
Appreciated the board at the entrance directing us to our pitch number as we could get settled and then go to the office.
Immaculate site, dated facilities but very clean and free wi-fi. Dog friendly and great fish and chips from the shop in the village.

Just returned from a long weekend at Cuckoos Corner site. What a pleasant welcoming site it is. Met other visitors who are apparently regulars to this site. Not surprised they return time and time again.
The site is a credit to Adrian - so well kept. The toilets and showers are spotless and the free dvd and book lending facility is the first we have come across at a campsite.
Extremely reasonable rates too. The local shop is a pleasant walk and is well stocked. We visited Leominster and Hereford both well worth another trip.
Looking forward to our next visit.

This is a great site and we will return. We had a really good week on the weather front which is an added bonus. The owners were very nice people and made us feel very welcome.
Some great walks around the area for us as well as the dog, which would include Queens Park just up the road.
The pubs in the area are well worth a visit and can be incorporated in one off your walks from the campsite.

Cannot fault this site!
Lovely, quiet, adults only site just north of Hereford.
Great for dog walkers with the Queens Wood just up the road.
Lots of nice Towns around for shopping.
If you go to Leominster take in the Shobden Arches (Folly) and church.
This was our second trip to this site and will be many more.
Good price too. Free showers, reading/info room.
Free range chickens roaming and lots of wild rabbits!
Trying hard to find anything bad to say, but I cannot!
Friendly owners.
