Lovely site was great for our first time.Very friendly and polite.Showers are good and nice and clean. Loved the area for the dogs and they had a great first time as well. Thanks so much. The only moan was that toilets where both closed at the same time for cleaning. We will be back !

Lovely peaceful site in a pretty part of the Cotswolds. Handy for visiting lots of places in the area. A site that's evolved rather than being planned and it winds it's way nicely. Lots of hedging and 2 smallish lakes with lots of ducks who demand feeding! Huge dog walking/playing field. Helpful friendly holiday site managers. Facilities are dates but very clean. There are changes planned for 2007 though - new tent pitch area, new facilities and some log cabins for private sale.

This is a lovely site very handy to the M5, The Wardens are very friendly and helpful. 2 fishing lakes make this site very attractive. Facilities are clean but a bit past their sell by date. Come on C&CC spend some of the increased income you've been getting.

Stopped for 2 nights enroute to Devon, although could have stayed on this lovely site for longer. Very, very easy to find, about 4 miles from M5 J9. In the heart of the Cotswolds and central for the sights, especially Bourton on the Water (complete with the Cotswold Motor Museum and BRUM !)
You can borrow a brick to rest your barbeque from the very friendly helpful c&cc wardens.
Positives - Directed to pitch, Lovely location, 2 fishing pools on the site, play area, dog walk, level pitches (both hardstanding and grass), nice shower block, resident wildfowl and other birds. Sightings of which are marked on the board in Reception.
Negatives - nothing really, apart from the limited shop, but there is a Tesco in Stow on the Wold, so not really a problem. They do, however, sell ice creams!
We liked it very much, and have booked to go back again to stay for longer.

Late July 2004 Just returned from a lovely 4 nights in our TT at this site. I found the layout and general ambience of the site very enjoyable. As mentioned in a previous review I also found that having several different areas to the site a good thing, as although the site was full it didn't feel like it. The children had ample room to ride their bikes and run around without interfering with anyone else and as I have now come to expect on a club site the managers couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful.
Unfortunately in comparision with other club sites I have been to this year, the toilet, shower facilities let this site down. Although very clean, the showers were old and in need of modernising. In the area we were pitched in there were only washing up and toilet portacabins. Warranted it wasn't a really long walk to the shower block, which incidently was in the middle of the hard standing caravan area where I would imagine most of the units have their own showers, but you did have to walk down a treelined track by one of the fishing lakes and if you did this past 9.00pm it was extremely dark, with no lighting and very spooky!
In general this is a lovely site but would be improved by sorting out the showers!

September 2003 This has to be my current favourite site. Typical of a C&CC site, the staff are very friendly, the facilities are very clean, and the plots are well spaced out.
One of the things I like about this site most is the way it has been set out. There are two large ponds where fishing is allowed (I have to say at this point I felt really sorry for the fish, as they must get caught a number of times a year). There’s also a large area reserved for ball games.
There are a number of areas allocated for pitches on the site, each area being screened by trees and shrubs from the adjacent one. As a result even though the site was quite full, it felt quite the opposite. The site itself has one area with a gentle slope to it, but by far the majority of pitches are on the flat.
There is a small shop at the reception area, and if there is a downside, it is that the nearest pub is quite a long walk away. But, that’s why I bought an electric coolbox, I can just sit outside the TT and idle the time away chatting to the passing campers.
Nearby there are all the wonders of the Cotswolds, with its stunning scenery and beautiful villages.
If you’re into motorsport there is the Prescott Hill Climb circuit nearby, with its Bugatti museum.
Not far away is the Gloucestershire/Warwick Railway which is a restored steam railway, one end of which is Cheltenham Racecourse if your into Horse racing. I had originally stopped off for 3 nights, but stayed the week, and still hadn’t seen everything on offer in this fabulous part of Britain.
As there is just myself camping, I have personally found the C&CC clubs amazing value for money, paying half what I usually pay on a commercial site for the same facilities, about £4.50 a night in early September, as I don’t use the electric hookup..
