OKish site close to loads of Cotswolds attractions. Tent pitching area is at the far end of the site, 20 seconds walk (wardens estimate) or 150 seconds walk (timed by me) to the washing facilities. Loads of super hot water and clean but cramped toilet facilities.
Make sure you're there before 8pm on the first day. Door's are locked then and it's only the goodwill of the warden that will let you in after that

Very good location, with views towards local hills and woodland.
Excellent site, with a feeling of space between pitches.
Facilities good and well maintained.
Enthusiastic staff on hand to answer any queries.
Good walks taken on Cleeve and Bredon Hills.

Stayed for 3 nights on hardstanding pitch near the lake. Enough room for caravan, full awning (giving new one a test run), space to sit on grass in front of awning and room to park car on the other side of the van.
Found staff very friendly and helpful, when booking in given leaflet on site facilities and options on pitching. Asked for pitch near lake, told which numbers were free and left to choose which I wanted with assistant site manager following behind to assist with pitching.
Toilet block very clean and tidy, looked like they had recently been renovated. Plenty of free flowing hot water, no button to press. Also a good information room and a recreation room with skittles, table tennis, pool etc. Small children's play area and the lake on that side of park is fenced so safer for children.
Had one day of fishing, very good for early April, plenty of fish biting but no sign of the big carp yet. They don't allow use of maggots or specialist baits, only sweetcorn, bread or luncheon meat.
Where we were camped the road noise was not a problem, hardly noticeable and with good views. However the standard, 'no EHU' pitches seemed to be in the field nearest the road so those staying there may find a bit more noise.
Some good local pubs serving food but a bit too far to walk (well for me at least!). Turn left out of the site and take first right into village for a nice thatched pub or carry on for about a mile and you come to one doing carvery all week for £5 until 7:30pm.
Well placed for many attractions and lovely local villages and scenery. Sheets on walks available from office.
Was a bit concerned before our visit having read some of the comments on the site but it suited us perfectly and we will be going back soon.

Spent two nights at this site on the 21st September. The site is off a very busy B road and is not suitable for cycling. The site staff were pleasant but made an issue that we did not have 2 c&cc membership cards with us despite us having numerous other means to verify who we were.
The pitches were quite small compared to other sites ie a caravan with awning had to squeeze the towing vehicle at the front of the pitch making the site feel cramped.
There is just the one toilet block with three showers in each which were old and small but clean.
The dog area is good and a nice fishing lake if you enjoy that sort of thing.
This site has had mixed reviews over the years, we would rate this as being one of the poorer c&cc sites we have stayed at despite the weather being superb.

A very well run and pleasant campsite,
With good well maintained facilities.
We spent a week hear and found it ideal for touring the Cotswolds and Forest of Dean.
The local pub is good, but I recommend a 5 minute drive to the Royal Oak in Gretton the views are fantastic.

Initial appearance of site was very pleasing, and situated within 15 mins of the M5 (junction 9). Very welcoming staff and lots of info on surrounding area. Pitches flat and well maintained, facilities up to C & CC standards, although shower cubicle was a little cramped for space. Very good local pub (Gardners Arms) in a delightful village, although be warned, it says 10 mins walk from site. This may be true across fields in daylight, but by road at night it takes 25 mins at a good pace. The pub is worth it when you get there though and in June served meals til 10 pm. Overall I would definitely return to this site.

The quality and cleanliness of the facilities and courtesy of the staff on this site are exactly would you would expect from the C&CC. The second block of toilets have disappeared putting more strain on the existing facilities but the high standards seem to have been maintained.

We were very surprised when we arrived at the site, to find out it had turned into a building site. What's more annoying we should have been notified from the caravan & camping club of the building work. There is now only one set of toilets and one fishing pool to use. What a shame, as this was our favourite site to visit, till now! Luckily we arrived early enough to pick our pitch away from the piles of sand and gravel. Others were not so lucky. In my opinion this site should have been closed until the building work had been finished.

I've been a member of C & C Club for 27 years and I have to report this is the worst of their sites I have stayed on. I have read other comments and I wonder if I just copped a bad weekend with the wardens. Unhelpful, unfriendly. The toilets had notices everywhere to remove shoes etc (obviously so they did not need cleaning very much) as the floors would in all probability be wet that was not very satisfactory situation. My son, who is also a member, met us there with my new grand daughter (I live in the far north of Scotland so do not see much of them) . He too was greeted by a surly warden and informed his tent was too big for the pitch, despite the fact that dwarfing his tent in the next pitch was an extremely large twin axle caravan with an equally large awning taking up more space than my son's tent. On a better note, the dog walk was OK.

The attractions around this area can keep you busy for longer than your stay. The site, however, has gone downhill, the old toilet block has gone, the remaining one had half the toilets locked off so 'we dont have to clean them' I was told. Workers lorries through site, a water pump in lake never seems to be used to aerate , all in all campers now seem secondary to the chalet development.
