We came across this Camping & Caravan site by chance, only spent 2 days there, but definitely will re visit another time. We were greeted by the wardens, who actually moved our caravan into position for us, so that we faced the most beautiful lake.
Showers were cleaned regular, although not the largest of cubicles, there were plenty there. All other usual facilities were available and well marked on site. There was Even a take away trailer on site 2 nights a week, we were told also the local pub gave a good discount if you mentioned the camp site!
It is so conveniently positioned for touring the surrounding area. There was an information room on site and it was from there, We visited the town of Winchcombe which happened to have a historical walk that day conducted by the Tourist Information Bureau. Well worth doing.
Great site can't wait to go again.

We stayed at this site for 3 nights on our way home from devon.
It is very handy for the M5 and also close to the lovely cotswolds.
We found the warden one of the most helpful and chilled out people we've met on our travels, which does help when you sometimes arrive quite tired and stressed yourself. He helped us site our caravan facing the lovely lake and made sure we were happy with the position we chose.
I have to say we found the site to be one of the most attractive sights we've been on, with great views over the fields or just gazing at the small lake with all the wild life strolling around. Also a great dog walking field next to the site.
We were happy with the site facilities, my only negative being the shower cubicles were quite small.
We loved our couple of days in the beautiful cotswolds, made especially nice by the great weather we had whilst there.
We were sad to leave, but will maybe return again one day ?

Lovely campsite with spotlessly clean showers and toilets. Never had to queue even over a bank holiday. The camping area is very close to the facilities and reception but the downside is that it is also near the road so quite a bit of traffic noise although it does die down at night. Delightful friendly and helpful staff. The site is also very handy for walking and sightseeing in the Cotswolds and the nearby town of Winchcombe is very pretty. Highly recommended.

We have just returned from a long weekend at this site where we found the wardens to be very friendly. The site is in a beautiful location surrounded by open fields although you can hear the traffic from the main road in the distance. A visit to the town of Winchcombe is recommended as is the walk to Sudeley Castle and beyond to Spoonley Woods, with stunning scenery and extensive views across to the Cotswold Hills. The facilities were very clean and well kept with lovely hot water in the showers. The pitches were large and well spaced and we were visited each morning by the moorhens looking for bits of toast. The Gardeners Arms Inns at Alderton is well worth a visit. Good value for money with very friendly staff. We will definitely return to this site.

Very convenient for the M5. Friendly welcome and the most helpful team of wardens I've ever met.
Well laid out site which is not overcrowded. Facility block spotless, pity about the 'push button' none adjustable showers. I like to choose the temperature of my water!
Dog walks brilliant.
Playground not 'overfilled' with equipment but there is room to have a ball game.
We've been twice to the site within a month and will be back.

This is great site with a very warm welcome, great toilets / showers and very well located to the M5.
The site is well laid out and the ducks milling around are very friendly. The information room is superb and a model example to all sites. The folder of previous fish catches was interesting.
Not a big issue for us but the TV signal was very poor. Maybe a TV signal available as an extra might be a good development idea.

One of the best sites we have stayed on with good sized pitches. Toilets and showers are well maintained and clean. Never had to queue to use them. The fishing lake is lovely and my husband spent many happy hours fishing. Small playground for the kids which seemed adequate. The site is well placed for exploring the beautiful countryside and two excellent pubs quite close by.
The wardens are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. The best we have come across on our travels.
This was our third visit to the site since we discovered it in July so I think that speaks for itself. Can't wait to go back again next year.
We stayed in one of the luxury lodges recently as the site had no available pitches. These are great. Spotlessly clean, modern and loads of room for 4 adults. Great if you have family who want to holiday with you but aren't keen on camping/caravanning.

We are a Family of 4 & really enjoyed staying at this site.
The staff are very friendly, kind & helpful. The facilities are extremely clean & well looked after. These include toilets, showers, washing up area, little site shop, games room & bin, waste areas too.
Fish & Chip van twice a week on site is a lovely treat too.
Our Boys, 9 & 12, enjoyed the playroom & playground, as well as feeding the ducks on a daily basis ( So take lots of bread with you ).
The pitches are very large & well kept & the site is very central to lots of local pubs, shops & places to see & go.
We would highly recommend a visit here.
Thank-you so much to All the Staff for making us feel very welcome & helping us have a very, very enjoyable weeks holiday. XXXX

On arriving we were given a warm welcome by the wardens, booked in and shown a few pitches. Unfortunately the one we chose we couldn't get any tv reception at all, although others around us had one. The way we were asked to pitch we found we had nowhere to sit as the grass behind our unit was on a slope. We didn't like the fact that there is no hedging at all dividing pitches, not much privacy.
The toilet block was ok, but have seen a lot better and they looked a bit tired. The strange thing is, the toilets are one end and the wash basins and hand driers are up the other end. Push buttons on the showers which I hate and had to pay 20p for hair drier even thought the site is quite expensive anyway.
There is only one chemical waste disposal which is at the top of the site and is right next door to the washing up sinks which I didn't think was very nice. There are only 3 sinks, and it is open so would hate to think what it was like in the cold and wet.
There is a dog walk and a very small play area, which is a shame as there is a big plot but nothing in it for the kids to play on, just a swing and slide and goalposts. (We don't have young kids any more and didn't take the dog so didn't use theses facilities ).
We think that this site is very overpriced and don't feel we got a deal for being members. I could honestly say We wouldn't recommend this site to our friends as have stayed at some much better sites for less money.
We won't be rejoining the club next year either

Lovely site, with a warm welcome from the staff. Shown to our pitch which had lovely views, but unfortunately (due to gale force winds) we were very exposed and had several sleepless nights (not their fault I know. ). Great for touring the Cotswolds area, with plenty to see and do. Toilets/showers immaculate as always on club sites. Good local pubs in the area (Gardeners Arms = 10% discount on food & drink). Our only criticisms are: we seemed to be a bit crammed in on the grass pitches (hard standing looked a lot better) and if you were a camper at the far end of the site you had quite a trek to the amenity block so a second block would be useful. Would definitely return.
