 A pleasant site at the far (non Clitheroe) side of Edisford Bridge, just past the pub. Do not confuse it with the caravan&camping club site at the other side of the bridge where it is difficult to turn round in the car park with a long caravan.
The site has good quality clean facilities and is split into three main areas, all with electric hookups.
1 Hardstanding for caravans/motorhomes
2 Tent Camping with limited car access
3 A sort of hybrid area, for either caravans/motorhome or tents, on grass round the outside.
The site is slightly sloping, the bottom end used for Tents seems to get a little muddy in bad weather. The site has excellent views of the area which leaves it a little exposed to strong winds but you can't have everything
The site was full for the five days of our stay and over the weekend tended to be a little noisy with excited children on weekend visits. As we were some distance away it caused us no problem.
Excellent centre for visits to the area, do not miss Clitheroe, Pendle etc.
The adjacent pub provides excellent food lunch and dinner.
Overall excellent site with good views and very good value for money.(£12.00/night weekend £10.00/night weekday including electric hookup)
