Booked the site just to test our new inflatable awning and prayed for rain so we could see how water proof it was, had to wait for the rain but it came! Very good sized pitch, a result, it was superb the staff were great very friendly and helpful, the site is very slightly sloping and well mowed, toilets are new and kept spotless site access is very good. The area is fantastic with great walks along the river and nearby parks there is a nice pub at the site gates serving food but we just like a pub meal and this pub had a restaurant which was a bit expensive for us, but was very well attended. Great site in a cracking area and I will be back later in the year. Getting to the site from the M6 is easy turning at the sign for the leisure centre which cuts out the town centre. However, this is a one way road for some parts and the way out we were told to go by reception for return to the M6 would have taken us through the town centre with very narrow roads, asked at the tourist information centre, a very nice lady said “ driving back past the leisure centre over the railway bridge till you reach the one way system were you turn left past booths, to small round about (this is where reception told us to turn left for A59) its next to the railway station GO straight on and follow sighs for A59, you miss the town centre and pass Tesco on the way easy”. River Ribble is a few yards across the road which is a nice area to relax and there is a swimming baths just up the road. And not far from Stocks reservoir for the fly fisherman perfect, will be returning often, I forgot only £14 per night wow.

Booked this site as a last resort WHAT a result, it was superb the staff were great very friendly and helpful, the site is mostly flat and well mowed the facilities are brand new and kept spotless even on very wet weekends site access is very good off the main road. The area is fantastic with great walks along the river and nearby parks there is also a very nice pub at the site gates serving very nice food ( booking a table is advised at weekends ) All in all a great site in a cracking area and I will be back later in the year.

This is the first time we stayed here, we just wanted somewhere not to far for a short break. We accidentelly ended up on the caravan and camping club site. When we asked the lady in charge of we can turn round I found her rather rude certainly put me off staying on that site.
When we got back on track and on the right site the owners were so friendly and when I mentioned what had happened she apologised for her. Looks like it's happened a few times. We were shown to our pitch, only downside was it was right next to the main road but other than that it was a good sized even pitch. Thankfully we had good weather and our pitch was well drained. Even though we had no rain the camping fields didn't seem well drained and felt very soggy to the feet.
The shower and toilet rooms were very clean the showers were nice and warm. The hairdryer is 50p and is adequate.
There is no park or games room
The pub round the corner is well recommended, good food and good price on drinks all adds to a good stay. The river ribble is across the road which is a nice area to relax and there is a swimming baths just up the road.
We will probably return here again for short weekend break

Been here more times than anywhere else as it is lovely and in a great place within 1 hour of where I live. This time we dropped a bit unlucky as were sited opposite 3 caravans who were one family who didn't really care about anyone else. They were quite noisy until the early hours I even heard them at 2. 30 in a morning making a racket.
We had the usual football from the same family on the service road during the day and to top it off a r/c aeroplane flying round the site (new one on me) buzzing the caravans which eventually crashed in to my neighbors aerial mast with the excuse it's only light it won't cause any damage !to the lady that owned the caravan. I beg to differ light or not but any object moving at 20mph+ with a whirring propeller will cause damage if it hit you in the face. We lost electric for over an hour on Easter Sunday but this has happened before. Good site next to a great pub they just need to enforce the rules more for everyone's sake.

Today we returned from 4 nights away in our tourer at Edisford Bridge.
We have been there before, about 30 years ago when it was a CL, so more than overdue for a return visit to this rural location.
The pitches are spacious and ours was on only a slight gradient well within the leveling range of our caravan.
The shower and toilet facilities are VERY good and were clean and well heated throughout the day even during the cold spell we were there.
The unmetered EHU is 16 Amp.
There are no child playgrounds or clubhouse on site but that is what we prefer.
We visited the next door hostelry for a meal on the Thursday evening and can definitely recommend it.
During the Monday - Friday stay of our visit we enjoyed the £14 PUN reduced weekday fees.
We didn't erect our awning.
Unfortunately, even though we are retired/pensioners, we were unable to use the further reduction for retired users as all in party need to be over 65 YO, but that was only a small annoyance and didn't spoil our enjoyment.
We would probably use the site again if in the area.
Also - it would appear that there is a large rally field to the rear of the main site as there were two arrivals before our departure today.
In time, a rally there would certainly be an attractive option for us.
The location is only a short distance into Clitheroe and we did see a bus service pass by.
It is only a short walk to the river and the nearby sports centre.
Overall very pleased.
My star rating reflects use by retirees with no children.

Fantastic site, great value for money, super clean and well maintained toilet block. There is a great little pub with bar meals just next to the site and it is easy walk down to the river ribble where we spent the day paddling with the kids. The pitches are spacious and well maintained and the owners are helpful. The site has great views over looking the Lancashire country side. We will definitely be back. Great for kids and families.

After reading the reviews particularly regarding the cleanliness of the shower blocks I decided to visit this site as opposed to the Camping and Caravanning site just down the road. Whilst the shower facilities were clean there was no control over visitors. Unfortunately for us the caravan next door invited 5 extra adult guests who were extremely loud and showed no consideration for other site users. I reported this to the owner and whilst I was told they would investigate there has been no feedback.
Average site with no monitoring of guests.

We went to the campsite in july for the first time and had a great time. It was pet friendly, shower block was really clean, ground was great, flat and drained well even when we had heavy rain.
Picnic area and playing field was a 5 minutes walk and Clitheroe is a 15 minutes walk,
Jean and her family we're very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Pub right next to campsite serving great food. Will certainly go back.

Soaking up the last few minutes wishing we could stay all week. Edisford farm provides a friendly professional service with great facilities. Ablution building with excellent clean and well maintained showers and wc's, lots of hard standings and some grass pitches. Separate area for tents. Locally there is the pub-2mins, river-5mins, baths 10-mins, clitheroe or waddington 1. 5 miles and much much more of this stunning part of he world to explore, details of which are amply provided for in the office. All this at a great price, check out the tariff for yourself, a great place to bring the kids for a fun time. We will be back!
