 Sadly not for us.
This site is well placed, clean - and attractive in parts.
Unfortunately it is also very noisy, with cars and lorries hurtling past at all hours - and their own farm vehicles, including large animal transporters, in and out very early morning.
The showers are good. Push button but that's fine. The lights going out after several mins was a pain. I shower early morning when usually I'm the only one using the facilities. Several mornings I had to leave the shower to run down the room to activate the lights!
They love their Rules here. "we are watching" 😆
Very short Shop and Reception opening times with limited stock.
Nice pub next door.
All in all, we loved the area and would like to return one day but after years of camping, we know there are better sites.

Their is very little to dislike about thjs site With in walking distance of Clithero.
Plenty of place and charming villages with in easy reach cycling or walking.
The site is excellent, toilets were very clan
The grass was being cut whilst we were their. Pub about 1100 yards from site.
Wi Fi in the games room next to office. Slightly cheaper rate for OAP in Mid week.

Nothing to dislike,
Campsite is in a great location with great facilities which were very clean.
Prices very reasonable and staff were polite and accommodating.

Yep got to say lovely campsite very clean and lady in reception was very pleasant on arrival.
The toilets and showers were very clean.
The tent pitch was close to reception and shoo and toilets so very handy. And with the edisford pub being next door this also was a bonus.
Would highly recommend the site and would definitely go back 10 out 10.

The facilities and layout of the site are really good,

Lovely tidy site.
Excellent toilet and shower facilities, were kept very clean and tidy everyday.
Short walk into Clitheroe, although it was a busy road.

A very nice welcome from the site owner at reception. A great special price for pensioners midweek.
The site facilities are modern and very clean and heated.
A games room with large tv, pool, table football and lending library for books and dvd's. A very nice area for walking.
There is a Pub at the site entrance with a great selection of beers, the food was a bit hit and miss but we found it OK.

What can I say, perfect. Lovely, friendly, clean site right next to the pub (but a quiet pub).
Well maintained, sparkling clean toilet blocks. Absolutely nothing to dislike.
Highly recommended for a chilaxing weekend, far enough away from the noise of town but close enough for a pleasant walk in.
