Lovely clean site close to Clitheroe. Clitheroe is within walking distance. Short walk to the river.
Pitches well spaced with plenty of room between.
Clean modern toilet/shower block.
Nice games room with a vending machine for snacks (although the coffee machine was not working during my stay), books and dvds to borrow.
Pub selling food next to the site. Didn’t use it though so can’t recommend.
Would definitely recommend staying here.

Warm welcome from Rachel in the office, who pointed us to a tap on the end of the building to fill up our fresh water tank.
We were allocated pitch 16 which is hardstanding. Having had a wonderful trip so far with 3 other sites visited with wonderful views, it was disappointeing to have a view of a hedge.
This is the first site I have ever been to where the grey waste and the chemical disposal point are the same hole in the ground.
The utility block is well kept and clean.
We walked to the bust stop and caught the bus to Clitheroe, wherre we visited the castle and museum. There are many shops here and a market on Saturdays. The town also has a Booths.
We caught the local bus back which stops wherever needed and was not too far from the site.
What ruined this site for us was the caravan owners, on the adjacent pitch, who were not bothered about keeping their puppy on a lead. It came round wile we were sat outside with a cat on a lead on my lap. The dog tried to get at the cat and I was bitten. Many times that day we saw the dog loose and at one time they had tied it to a tree.
Sadly we left so I could go to hospital as I am immune suppressed and needed urgent treatment for the bite.
We did inform the warden about our early departure and she was not happy with the dog owners and was going to explain to them why we had to leave early.
This site has a strict policy that dogs must be on a lead.

Great little site just outside Clitheroe,
Friendly staff waiting to greet you at reception, large pitches, warm & spotless toilet/shower block, 2 x large sinks for washing up, Washing machine (extra charge)
Room available to use with pool table, Dartboard, large TV, seating area for when the weather is bad.
Great little pub at the entrance to the site, with good range of food & beers.

Loved this site. Not too big and very well kept.
Toilets, showers and pot washing/ laundry facilities were excellent and spotlessly clean.
Staff in the shop/ reception were very friendly.
Great area for walks.
Only downfall was they don't allow fire pits, oh and the bin wagon clattering about at 5am.
Will definitely return.

Great campsite in a beautiful location!
Very accommodating for us when we arrived at staggered times. The clamping room was very helpful for our group when the wind decided to make outdoor activities difficult for the young children with us.
Only a 30 minute walk into Clitheroe and the highlight has to be the super friendly pub at the end of the road!
Thanks so much for our lovely weekend!

An attractive well kept and quiet site with views over open countryside. Spotless facilities.
Friendly welcome. Walk into Clitheroe or out into the countryside, adjacent to the Ribble Way.
Good pub next door.
Highly recommended and excellent mid week value for the retired!.
