Fantastic site, very clean and friendly. This site shows the difference between a family owned site and a commercialy owned one.
The pitches are a very generous size with hedges between. The pool area is very clean with a variety of tables and sunbeds surrounding the swimming pool.
There are changing rooms within the pool area and a very modern and clean shower block close by. The shop is quite reasonably priced and all staff are very helpful.
The children loved the playground which is enclosed by a fence which is closed each night (May half-term at 9pm) and also a tennis court which we used on a regular basis. The owners and staff couldn't do enough to make our holiday great.
Beautiful beaches are very close by, in particular we loved the little harbour Gorran Haven, this is a very safe sandy beach with a little stream running towards the sea.
We had such a great sunny week that we have already booked for next year.

A fabulous site. A warm friendly welcome on arrival and large pitches with free hook up.
The pitches have hedges to mark out each one individually, but are not fully established yet.
The shop is well stocked and decently priced, the take away is also well priced, very tasty and cooked fresh. The swimming pool was closed when we were there. The toilets and showers were spotless and spacious. The only negative I could say is having to pay 20p for the hairdryer!
I really could not fault this campsite and will, without a doubt, be back.
It is also very handy for The Eden project and The lost Gardens of Heligan (which is a must see!)

If you are staying here you will need a car, But every thing is in easy reach. This part of the world is very beautiful Would return to this site and would highly recommend it to other families

Another fantastic stay at Tregarton. We stayed for a week at spring bank.
The shop is now open all day and the take away is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The reception and shop have moved from their old location across the courtyard and have been beautifully renovated. The pool is open until 7pm now, later than last year I believe. The showers and toilets are still the best we have ever seen.
One small 'moan' was that our pitch looked quite tired, which is surprising so early in the season. It could have done with a bit of topsoil to level the dips and some grass seed over the winter. However, it did seem to be only our pitches that were like this, the others seemed to be in good shape.
The playground was closed promptly at 9pm and the site generally quietened down after this time.
A lovely family site, so much so we have booked again for next year.

By far the best site we have ever stayed at, immaculatly kept with great facilities.
Toilet block A*
Swimming Pool A*(hours of fun with the kids)
Play Area A* (my 6 year old loved it, we had to drag him away from the fort!)
Only 20 mins from the Eden Project and close to many beaches.
Owners very helpful even sited the van and levelled it for us (wish they could have put the awning up too as provided our new neighbours with a new spectator sport.
I cant recommend this site enoughy and if in the area we would definitely return.

We stayed for half term week and found this to be a wonderful site. Pool was open and warm, pitches are huge and although the site was full it was very quiet at night.
The park is a godsend for our 3 children under 7! We had some great days out although you do have to drive everywhere as the park is quite isolated but this was not a problem.
The washing and drying facilities are superb and the wait for the showers in the morning was minimal.
The only drawback was the lack of a family bathroom but the baby had to make do with the belfast sink in the laundry room instead! A great week on a superb park and great value for money!

Our first visit to this site, in fact, our first camping (with a tent) for many, many years and what a pleasant surprise we had on arrival at Tregarton.
Camping when we last camped was a far cry from the great facilities at this site, the toilet block in particular was exceptional in every respect.
The pitch was great despite the attempts by the rabbits prior to our arrival to dig their way to who knows where.
A very pleasant experience indeed and we will return in the future no doubt.

Our forth visit to this site so they must be doing something right. As usual the welcome was friendly and our van was pitched and levelled while we watched on.
The site is as always kept nice and clean, the rubbish collected daily. The washing and shower facilities are immaculate with loads of hot water. The laundry and washing up area is great, we used the washing machines a couple of times and they do a good job, the tumble driers could do with being a bit hotter though, maybe the gas was getting low.
One small thing though, the shop could do with being open thoughout the season and maybe have longer opening times.(it didn't open until the 14th May). Also us wrinklies would like a dip in the pool as well, but that wasn't open either.
We will book again for next year, maybe a little later in May so we can dip our toes in the pool and have one of the lovely take aways for our tea.

Spent two weeks here, well run and well managed site with a very reasonably priced shop.
We had a problem with low voltage supply on our EHU which was resolved in a friendly professional manner by the owners son.
Being at one of the lowest priced times of year the site was full of retired people, many of whom were staying for up to 2 months which led to an atmosphere similar to that on the winter sites in Spain.
After Spring Bank Holiday I would guess that there is a change in clientèle. The pool was not open during our visit but it seemed to be of an excellent standard.
There is an infrequent bus service to/from Goran Haven and St Austell( via Mevagissey). To gain the best from the surrounding area access to a car is probably essential, particularly with young children. Unfortunately most of the popular visitor places have limited, costly parking, which could make visits in high season expensive if the weather is less than perfect.
Overall an excellently run site with new, well maintained toilet facilities, an excellent shop and well maintained well managed general facilities.

We recently visited this site for a 3 night mini-break in Cornwall.
The site were very helpful, we left things a bit late to book in advance so travelled down from the Midlands with a list of sites we would call once we got into Cornwall.
Tregarton park was one of the top on our list and we called and they confirmed that they did have spaces available for us.
On arrival we were greeted at reception and given a choices of pitches to use. We picked on that looked fairly sheltered and had a bit of space around it.
The pitch was fine, nice and easy and had fences on either side, which made things nice and easy for us and means you don't have to worry about encroachment etc.
The site is fairly level, some hills and some good facilities, but we didn't use them really.
There are many waterpoints, all over the site, all are lit and also have bins in them so nice and easy to get rid of rubbish.
The showers and toilets are great, nice temperature. The only complaint could be that the run isn't slightly longer.
The one downside to this site was the shop. It appeared that it was being moved or refitted at the time of outr visit. This left us someone stuck being tent people and meant we had to go back to St Austell to find shops at times for breakfast etc. Unfortunately no one told us this. It seemed we weren't the only people who were disappointed by this.
Location wise the site is very quiet. It's fairly near to St Gorran which is a group of villages/hamlets which feature in Gorran Haven a lovely little fish and chips shop right on the beach!
Mwevagissey is also nearby, which of course has come lovely restaraunts and pubs, and some great little cafes to keep you in pasties, seafood and clotted cream.
I'd definitely recommend going there!
Unfortunately there isn't really anything within 'walking distance' if you don;t fancy yomping some of Cornwalls standard massive hills!
