Absolutely cracking site. Friendly staff. Well laid out. Choose a pitch you like then let staff know then you get a gate / barrier key. Never been on such a well kept site. Toilet / shower blocks warm and spotless, very well equiped (wash & shave cubicles, shower cubicles , toilet cubicles, hairdryer, all free) Secure kids park just outside main gate in big field for ball games, walking dogs etc. 2 min walk to town for shops and pubs, nice river walks. Will use as a regular weekend site.

A fantastic site as reviewed so I need to add little to the already very accurate ones. Just a couple of comments, the showers were very clean but were only like a light mist not a shower. Dont forget you cant get back in the site at night without your key, it does say on the gate but we didn't notice it our first night and stood outside for 20 minutes The Wetherspoons pub in town is brilliant and unlike any other wetherspoons we have been in with a gorgeous beer garden leading down to the river. The Abbey does have an annoying chime every 15 minutes all through the night, so if you are a light sleeper take some ear plugs.

Have just visited this site at the weekend the site is kept very clean at all times, nice pitches that are kept well. The wardens are helpful but a bit serious, I know it was a busy weekend but a smile would have been nice. Our friends were washing some pots at the washing facility and were told that it was late to do their washing 10 30pm, they weren't making a noise in fact there were some loud sounds coming from the other side of the fence but nothing was said about that Fabulous views of the abbey and a great meadow to walk our dog. Have booked again so it hasn't put us off. Can recommend Weatherspoons in the high street for a great breakfast.

Just returned from a great 3 night stay, having stayed at lots of carvan club sites we didn't think the layout was one of the best, no hardstandings at all, and the pitches seemed very close together. Wardens however were great, toilet block of a standard you expect in a CC club site. Short level walk into Tewekesbry, lots of history, museums etc, reasonable market on a Wednesday, good selection of shops to be had. We would recommend eating at the Nottingham Arms for dinner. Also a good meal to be had at the Bell, the local Witherspoons seemed to have a reasonable menu but we try to avoid chain pubs so didn't eat there. We did notice a large play area in the nearby playing fields so kids should be happy. Good area for bike riding. Good Site, well run

Just spent a lovely weekend at here. Toilet facilities were clean but think the times of cleaning could be moved forward by 1 hour. I found the showers not that hot, toilet didn't flush that well.
Like mentioned before, some pitches are larger than others so pick your pitch carefully. Staff were friendly.
Stunning place to stay. Plenty of walks if you have a dog, ours were shattered when we got home.
The old pub(the bear I think) at the end of the high street is dog friendly with views across the river. Fish and chips were great(real potato not frozen)!
All in all cant wait to go back again!

An excellent site in a peaceful spot despite being only a few minutes' walk from the lovely little town of Tewkesbury. The town is small, full of history and with a decent selection of shops.
For eating out-The Nottingham Arms on the High Street is a nice little family pub serving excellent home cooked food using local products. Also, the nearby Weatherspoons is a cheap, basic option for breakfast
Excellent facilities, immaculately clean.
Very friendly staff.
Nice being able to wander about and choose pitch before letting managers know where you are.
Will definitely visit again.

Excellent site always busy we have stayed here several times during past 7yrs and more if we had been able to get in so book early for bank/school holidays. Handy site to park up and walk or take the bus to explore area but local town is an easy walk nice shops and market Weatherspoons had just opened large pub close to
The site a bonus as other inns are smallish. Gloucester and cheltenham only short distance are a must for shoppers. There was a food festival in adjoining park while we stayed this was good.
The staff are friendly and very helpful let us pick our own pitch in small hedged area. This is surprising a large site when you walk around its mainly grass and well kept few sloping pitches behind toilet block which is some where we would rather not camp. Toilet blocks are spotless. Separate disabled unit which was small but had everything needed. Our only grumble was they started cleaning loos bit early for thoese who like to lie in but other wise this is a perfect site with easy access to M5/M50

Lovely well maintained site, very clean, staff very friendly, toliet blocks immaculate. 2 minute walk from town centre, morrisons supermarket about half a mile awaym which I find very handy as I tend to do my shop when I get there after I have set up. Will be going back in a weeks time for a week. Impressed.

Second visit to this great site and second review! Great position just off the M5. Warm, friendly welcome from the wardens. You choose your own pitch and then let them know the number. You are then given a key to access the barrier / gate. Toilets/showers are spotless as always with CC sites - never had to queue once either and the site was pretty much full to bursting! Views of Tewkesbury Abbey from some of the pitches. Easy walk into town. Great Indian restaurant / takeaway opposite the road down to the site. There's a new JD Wetherspoons pub near to the Indian too (cheap food and drinks!) but BEWARE dog owners - no dogs are allowed on the premises at all and this includes the beer garden! Stupid rule but they won't change it! We use this great site as a 'stop over' when heading North and will continue to do so. Highly recommended.

This was our first experience of a Caravan club campsite and I must admit I am very impressed.
The staff were very friendly and the facilities are excellent, which I guess is why it was very busy.
Would recommend it without a doubt.
