I reiterate all the previous positive comments about this site it is as you would expect from a caravan club site.
Plenty of really hot water in showers and wash up.
The floral display is a credit to the staff who work meticulously to keep everything in A1 condition, and welcome all with a smile. The site is extremely secure with a key controlled barrier and surrounding secure fencing.
Location is superb and the town and abbey are delightful to spend time exploring, there is only one main supermarket so the town retains a vast selection of individual retailers within the mainly medieval town footprint.

Our third visit love the site short walk into town pretty and well looked after friendly staff and lots of lovely flowers in Summer.
The Abbey closeby (though bells a bit off at the moment)
Toilet blocks (3) are clean have privacy cubicle and good showers.
The reception orders your papers and has bits and bobs but town so near with plenty of shops a Tesco, Coop and One Shop where you can get any thing you need river and canal to walk by and all so close.
Plenty of places to eat and drink and lots of lovely coffee shops
Will go again they have a steam engine rally next door and are close to Upton on Severn for the Jazz festival.
If have children park next door.

Just returned from a long weekend in glorious weather at this lovely Caravan Club site just round the corner from the Abbey - if you're lucky enough to be there when the bells are ringing you'll be well entertained.
The site was always very busy; many people seem to use it as an overnight stop as it's so convenient for the M5. A pity because Tewkesbury itself is well worth a tour and there are plenty of walks along both rivers. (Look out on the gate for the marker showing the level of the 2007 flood!)
Facilities are looking rather tired but are always clean and we never had to queue for showers. There's no play area or dog walk on site but there is a huge park next door which more than makes up for this.
The shop sells basics but there's a Co-op just 5 minutes walk away and plenty of pubs and restaurants in the town. As always, wardens working very hard to keep the site up to scratch.
We will hope to return for a longer visit.

Choice of approx 8/10 pitches on arrival on a Saturday of bank holiday weekend. Drive round to pick your own pitch.Grass short and ground nice and dry. Only one motorhome point and sign at water points tell motorhomers not to use them.
Toilet blocks all need a refurb especially lighting, only 4 washing up sinks for the whole site. Good security as barrier and gates locked overnight. No play equipment which is a bonus.
Buses to Cheltenham near to site and easy walk into town. Wetherspoons handy for cheap good coffee.
Always a site worth staying at if weather ok. Worth bearing in mind can flood.

Fab site. All grass which is something we very much prefer when we can find it. We have on board facilities so didn't use the showers etc. But I did have a nosey in one and it looked just like you would expect from the CC.
Wardens were ubiquitous (I've never seen so many on one site); and they just didn't seem to stop working on grass cutting, planting out, cleaning, painting etc.
Pointless reiterating previous comments about location save to say that it is all good.
Fabulous setting in the shadow of the abbey and next to a cricket pitch -- like something out of a Poirot episode when we were there! Weather was unbelievably good -- 80c most days. We even took the opportunity to drive down to Plymouth for the day; just over 2 hours away!
We shall be back next year!

Although the site was fairly full for the three nights of our stay, by no stretch of the imagination did it feel 'crowded'.
The site is very well situated, close to the town and the Abbey. Very accessible from main through routes.
Staff very welcoming and helpful. Some of the amenities seemed a bit 'tired' and there were queues for showers in the mornings. Otherwise the site is kept immaculately.
A large park next door with what seemed to be a pretty comprehensive children's play area.
Out and about, the nooks and crannies of the historic town, including riverside walks were good to explore.
Other reviewers have mentioned the 'Hop Poles'. Food at the Bell is also good, but it seems that the tip is to only have one course, unless you want a long pause in which to digest your starters!

This was our first site as we are new to caravanning .We thought it an absolutely superb place, clean tidy and very friendly staff. Very handy for M5, 5 mins walk and you are in the town with all the amenities you need.
Tewkesbury itself is a lovely place, lots of shops bars and restaurants, the Hop Pole is worth a visit cheap drinks and cheap food.
You are in the heart of the cotswolds so you have lots of places to choose from to go visit.
The Abbey is just across from the site and if you go in it is just stunning. All in all well worth a visit.

Site is in a good situation close to motorway and short stroll to town. Tewkesbury abbey is beautiful and overlooks the site. The site itself has a barbed wire fence atop the boundary wall and full size security gates which are locked at night, gave pause for thought. For all that it is well kept and the wardens are most helpful. Toilet block we used is a bit shabby and not up to the usual club standards.
The town has seen better days and streets are not clean, not a place I would recommend. Public transport is good and travel to the main centres is easy.
We did not enjoy our visit and cut our stay short and regretably, don't envisage returning soon.

We are a family of 5 and stayed two nights enroute from Fife to Brittany then another on our return journey.
The site is only a 10 minute drive from the M5 conveniently passing the local Morrisons and managed to a very high standard. The staff are friendly although a little strict but I believe this is a necessity in order to manage such a busy site and meet the standards expectation of most campers.
Unfortunately, my youngest son had a bike accident and was rushed to a very good minor injuries clinic nearby. I commend the clinic staff for their professional service.
Similar to other Caravan Club sites we have previously stayed on, the children's facilities require improvement. There was a play park, but it was outside the site and therefore our children ages 4, 5 and 7 had to be accompanied. Also, there were no other children on site but mainly retired couples.

Great to be so close to town centre & abbey. Very friendly team in office, facilities to club standard - very clean, very hot water, information room, beautiful planters & displays. Only one pitch left after we made our booking, but there were still several spaces at night, and despite being so busy the limited showers & toilets were not a problem - no queuing. We were on a very spacious pitch, but did notice that some spots were a little cramped. We would stay here again, as it was a treat to hear the bells & spend time in such a glorious spot. No children camping with us, but there was a fantastic playground with lots of fun equipment right outside the site. It's true, the abbey does let dogs visit!
