This adults only site is five star in terms of facilities and situation.
The pitches for caravans and motorhomes are large and have hardstanding as well as indiviual taps and hookups. The abutting lawns are beautifully kept and the TV and satellite reception is excellent. There's plenty of room to relax in relative privacy without distubing your neighbours.
The upper level for campers is situated beside to a small reservoir and has lovely views and hookups if required.
The attractive bar/coffee shop is large and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. The licenced shop is well stocked with necessities.
The spotless ablution facilities could grace a five star hotel with privacy cubicles, numerous toilets and hand basins. There is also a veggie prep area.
£17.50 (£16.50 for Caravan Club members)per night is pricey but, at this site, not unreasonable. Well-behaved dogs are allowed. We would stay here again.

A brand new site just opened in August 2003 for over 16's only. All fully serviced pitches ie water, electric, drainage and hard standing. Bar/restaurant and shop to come in time for 2004 season. Luxurious amenity block.Not cheap - around £17.50 per night for car, caravan, awning, two people and inclusive of all services but boy o boy, what a place!

When we visited the site it had had been opened a few weeks prior and was therefore very quiet.
We were greeted by the very friendly and welcoming owner of the site, who took time to show us round the outstanding facilities. Obviously everthing is brand new and therefore clean. The toilets/showers are luxurious. Unfortunately the shop and cafe are not yet furnished so we were unable to make use of the wonderfull timber framed building that houses them.
The site is adult only ensuring some peace.
There is a golf course next door (which is good and has three courses).
We will be going back.
