June 2005 Totally agree with other reviews. This place is stunning. The campsite is on a hillside overlooking beautiful coastline, separated into smaller terraced fields, so you are not aware of lots of other people. We were on the lower level with uninterrupted views.
Kids loved it - small play area, trees to climb and shrubbery to explore - kiddy heaven!! Toilets and showers spotless but basic. Shop really useful and was always open when we needed it, and owners really friendly and welcoming.
Lovely walk to Watermouth Cove directly from campsite. This site feels really rural, yet is only a few minutes drive from Coombe martin and Ilfracombe. Perfect.

May 2005 We consider this to be the nicest site we have visited in the UK. The terraces give privacy and beautiful views. The toilets and showers were always clean and the camp well-maintained. The owners / managers are very laid-back, friendly and hepful, but run a tight ship.
We were on the same level as the toilet block. If you are on one of the higher terraces, you may find it a bit of a trek.
This is a wonderful place for a tranquil holiday.

May 2005 WOW! This is an amazing place to put a campsite. The views are fantastic. The sunset is spectacular, the sunrise was amazing with it shimmering off the sea, and, as mentioned previously, the view when washing the dishes was wonderful.
The downside of all that is that it is a bit exposed. We went there the weekend the rest of the country had glorious sunshine but Devon and Cornwall had a gale. We managed to pitch up OK but it made for a noisy night - all for the wrong reasons!
The owners are very helpful. I flattened the car battery blowing up the airbeds and it was no bother to come and help. The Fiest was a bit unique though.
The dog enjoyed it, there was a huge field for him to run around.

May 2005 This campsite, lived up to all the reviews, and suppassed them. The views from the campsite are spectacular. There are tiered levels, with huge marked pitches. Everyone gets to see the sea, there are plenty of drinking water points, excellent recycling facilities, and the toilets/showers are "basic" but clean and more than adequate. The views from the washing up point are spectacular, beats looking at a brick wall, like at home! There is a little shop, selling the basics, certainly recommend the bacon, eggs (duck from the farm) and bread, all local and so tasty. The owners are lovely and friendly too. Will definitely return to this site, its worth going to again and again and again! :0)

August 2004 Had an excellent time on our visit. The views were spectacular and it was ideally situated for visiting the local attractions. It was a lovely quiet campsite, the pitches were a good size and everyone was very helpful. The charges were very reasonable and all in all it was a lovely weekend away.

September 2004 My visit to Little Meadow was my first camping experience so I haven't got anything to compare it to however I would highly recommend the site. The owners were very helpful and friendly. The campsite was very laid back with a tranquil relaxing atmosphere. Beautiful views out to sea and very pretty surroundings on the site. Facilities were basic but very clean.

August 2004 This campsite has the most stunning views. The best I have seen (and I have been to a good many sites, over the years.) The pitches all seem to be large and the site is very peaceful.Toilets and showers are basic but perfectly adequate and very clean. The only fault we had was the weather, but that is England for you. It certainly didn't spoil our holiday on this pretty campsite. Plenty of wildlife as well. It was lovely getting up in the morning to see all different coloured rabbits feeding on the grass. Recycling here is excellent. Well done Sian and Nick.

July 2004 What an excellent campsite. Really low-key, quiet and well-run by friendly husband and wife team. The site is perched high above the Bristol Channel and has stunning views across to Wales as well as some pretty sun sets. The pitches are generous and arranged in tiers so everyone gets a good sea view. Toilets and showers are perfectly adequate also (20p's needed though!). The campsite operates a good recycling policy and campers are encouraged to participate. There are 2 decent pubs within walking distance down private footpaths, no walking on the road at night required!

July 2004 Absolutely stunning views, most of the time very quiet (campsite is on a working farm and while we were there we were woken up by a tractor driving through the campsite). Owners very friendly, shower and toilet block is fairly basic but on the whole good value.
