Just returned from a fabulous weekend at this amazing site!
All the pitches were very spacious with beautiful views that we couldn't get enough of! The Toilets and Shower facilities were good, the water was lovely and hot and there were 2 hairdryers that were free to use in the Ladies. The washing up area faced the beautiful view making it a pleasure to wash up. The site owners were very friendly and welcoming. You can buy all your essentials on site where they sell local products (the meat was excellent!) The site was very dog friendly and there was a huge field that we could walk our dog in (and we were allowed to let him off the lead) at the bottom of the site.
This was our first visit to North Devon and we loved it! There was lots of lovely walking from the campsite, with the coastal path being a short walk away! We loved Arlington Court, a national trust property not too far away, and found our dog very welcome here too!
All in all a fantastic campsite, which I can't say enough good things about! We just can't wait to go back!

Have just come back from a 4 night Easter break here. Don't go to this site if you want a club house/entertainment etc. DO GO if (like us)you like peaceful surroundings, fantastic views and great walks.
Toilets very clean and tidy. Little shop very handy for essentials. Site owner friendly and helpful.
The pitches are a good size and all have a sea view due to being terraced. There's a large field to allow dogs a run off the lead. The local pub is a short walk and is family and dog friendly.
An excellent value site and we'd go back again.

We visited this site for a week at the end of August and had a fantastic time, despite less than summery weather! The layout of the site is great with the spacious pitches laid out on terraces so that everyone gets a view of the sea and we really weren’t that aware of our neighbours despite the site being full. The toilet and shower facilities were spot on and as mentioned in other reviews, the views from the washing up area were awesome! The site is located a short walk from the South West Coast Path so is ideal for walkers, and there are a good number of beaches nearby, not that we had the weather to use them much! We hired cycles from nearby Braunton and cycled on the Tarka trail to Bideford and back (circa 30 miles round trip). I would thoroughly recommend this as a great day out for all ages, the track is well maintained and pretty flat and there are loads of lovely places to stop along the way.

This was a lovely site. Each tent pitch has good space from neighbours and perfect views due to terrace set up. The children met other friends on site and there was a safe playground.
Facilities were clean, hot showers and not too far from pitch which is always handy at night! The little shop was handy for basics and there are supermarkets and shops near to site too.
The beaches and amenities locally were great and it was a lovely quiet site in the evenings for young children. A great base for discovering this gem of an area in Devon.

Had a wonderful week mid July when the weather was just superb.
Little Meadow is fantastic and totally deserves it's excellent reputation and reviews. The toilet block is very clean and large enough, 4 toilets and 4 showers for both men and women.
The view from the washing up area is outstanding, we were arguing over who gets to wash up!
Kids loved it, our 3 and 5 year old found plenty of young friends and there is a nice natural play area.
The shop has all you need and everyone there was so nice and very helpful. My only small negative comment is that the showers were very hot and it was very hard to shower the youngsters, even if they sat on the floor. There is no way to control the temperature, mine were not the only ones coming out the showers crying!
Apart from that totally loved it and would def return.

Spent a wonderful week here, despite turbulent weather. The pitches are a good size, facilities were good, showers cleaned regularly but only last thirty seconds before you have to press the button again! Shop very handy for essentials. Lovely views of the sea from the pitches. An excellent site, small and friendly, will visit again.

This has to be one of the best sites I have stayed on. Laid back but well run and just some common sense rules ie. recycle, be quiet at night, dont leave a mess (not really rocket science). Yes would stay again if only for the views!

I can't really add much more to what's already been said about this lovely little campsite.
The sea views ( from every pitch) are truly spectacular.
The way the pitches are set out on terraces meant that we weren't really aware of other campers apart from our immediate neighbours, the pitches are very generous too.
There is a private path from the campsite leading down to Watermouth Castle and Watermouth Cove, dogs are allowed on the beach here , and there are plenty of benches so you can sit and watch the boats bobbing about in the pretty little harbour.
I must mention Clovelly, an outing to this amazing little village is a must if you visit this area, dogs are allowed, you take them through the visitor centre to access the village, very dog friendly indeed! Don't forget to take sensible footwear to tackle the cobbles!
We normally use adults only sites but we stayed here mid-week during term time and it was very peaceful, we had a very nice quiet family next to us.I don't think the owners would put up with noisy folk on this heavenly little site, we will definitely return.

Have just returned from a 5 night break in Devon where we stayed at Little Meadow Campsite.
The views were amazing, toilets and showers always clean, staff very helpful and friendly.
Ideal location for exploring the local area.
Wish we could have stayed longer.
