 Stayed here over the weekend.

We thought it was a lovely site. We had a good welcome at reception and the staff were around if required, but unobtrusive.

Nice level pitches and well laid out with well trimmed hedges providing shelter.

Toilets/showers/washing up facilities are pristine. They look very new and are always very clean.

Games room, play area and big football pitch with 5-a-side goals for the kids. Our only grumble is that there is a 'no ball games around the tent' rule, and the football pitch is the other side of the shower block to the tents. Having said that, there didn't seem to be a problem with our 6 year old and the boy from the tent next door kicking a ball around. I think the rule is to stop hordes of kids being a nuisance around the tents, which is fair enough.

Tesco 5 mins away and a chinese take away will deliver to reception which is great when you arrive late and have to put a new tent up for the first time!

All in all, a nice side with a relaxed atmosphere.

We will be going back.

Stayed here for some of the may bank holiday , we were warned before arrival that it was wet and infact they had to cancel all caravans that were not on hardstandings , They suggested we came down and see what we thought, if we didn't want to stay then they would give us a full refund or credit note !
It was wet and in places muddy but what a lovely place , We were welcomed like old freinds , Superb staff that worked unbelievably hard to make sure everyone was happy , The lady that met us was 1 minute the receptionist then I saw her cleaning the shower block, then one night I saw her help push a caravan onto a pitch ! Ron the park manager was busy giving everyone wooden paving tiles to help stop the mud going into peoples units, in between laughing joking and chatting to everyone !
The shower block was without doubt excellent  - heated floors , double shower cubicles half wet room, half changing room  not sure if 5 in mens and 6 in womens would suffice if it was full , but plenty of personal wash rooms and sinks , it looked like this had not long been built. Beside that was a super campers kitchen , freezer fridge , microwaves, sinks, chopping boards, brilliant. Laundry room on site and behind all of that a good sized football pitch, with climbing frames around and swings, then a small section especially designed for the under 7`s. A games room ( table tennis , pool , video games) , people felt able to let their children go off on their own.
Hardstanding pitches looked a little small for some caravans so maybe enquire if your tin tent is bigger than some
There are about 20 statics on one side of the park but most are owned privately , no noise at all!
All around the facilites are little messages and notes to people but rather than saying don't do this don't do that , they are there to inform you on how the park can make your stay more enjoyable and what services they can provide free of charge !
For the dog owners amongst us there is a dog walk area where you can let the dogs run off the lead , it's small but the thinking behind it is great, a small field, knee high grass, square and dull, then they mowed a twisty walkway round and through it making it feel like a nice long walk , brilliant thinking!
I would say that that it was about even when it came to hookup pitches ,half did half didn't. Serviced pitches both grass and hardstanding available.
All in all a wonderful site, part of the "best of British" group and you can see why. We booked to go back again in 3 weeks and I'm sure as it's close to us it will become a firm favourite for long weekends. Strong international feel to this park being only 30 minutes from Dover, we saw and chatted to French, Spanish, Dutch and Polish people, everyone really happy and friendly.
If you get the chance go to this site, I promise you you`ll love it as much as we did ! happy camping.

This site is beautiful and very peaceful, tucked just out of town, on an easy to find route.

Shower's and loo's are spotless .... they have a Campers Kitchen, with fridge, freezer and 2 microwaves ovens for the use of ..... 4 wash up sinks and a food preparation area ..... and also a Laundry room.

There's a playground and games room for the little peeps ...... There is NO playing ball games around the pitches, a tad awkward when you have under fives.

Electric gates to keep you safe and sound. Small shop with essentials at reception. The wardens Ron & Dilys are a lovely couple, both friendly and helpful

There's a couple of fishing lakes no more than a mile away ..... along with Tesco's ..... and a little further down the road is Asda, next to the Designer Outlet

I would highly recommend this site, for a peaceful relaxing break ..... we will be going back

First visit to this small but very good site. We stayed in a tent with our three year old and we all had a most enjoyable time. The facilities were extremely clean and of a very high standard - free showers, free use of fridge and freezer, two microwaves (also free). The play area for kids was also kept clean and tidy and catered for all ages. I would recommend this site and we will definitely be returning.

Although the site was very busy everybody was well behaved, couldn't get on the adults only part but we needn't have worried as the kids were brilliant. Toilet/shower blocks were immaculate, showers were free and had some go in them. Campers kitchen was superb and if you have kids there was a great play area for them even some football nets.

Staff in the shop were friendly and helpful would come back again. Nice sandy beach with sand dunes at Greatstone. Tescos at this side of Ashford and if you are in New Romney there is a good sized Sainsburys. Didn't like Ashford though very scruffy and only fast food outlets to eat out

First visit to this site for 1 night only. Very quiet and pleasant site with a very nice welcoming. Very clean and tidy complete with spacious pitches. Shower block being upgraded at the time but, to be honest, not much wrong with the old ones except there aren't enough - but this will be dealt with when the new works have been completed. Kids (10 & 3) enjoyed theirselves with a very secure and safe site. We will definately visit again soon for a longer stay.

What a lovely site and friendly staff. As we were adults only we were offered a pitch away from the main children's area, as they thought this would be more suitable for us. The site was clean, tidy and a pleasure to hear children enjoying themselves by day, and in the evening it was so peaceful.
The shower block (all new) was being extended to provide seperate cubicles and disabled facilities. The wash-up area was immaculate, in a room with microwave and freezer for food (providing you date it) and ice blocks, sinks with drainers and cloths provided.
Onsite shop/reception sells basics and you can order bread and croissants for the following morning.
You are given a code to tap into the security gate, making it extra safe for children.
Will definately go back

We visited this campsite just for an overnight stay and it was really fab. The staff were friendly and helpful and the site was clean and well looked after. All the visitors were quiet and the family feel was throughout.

The new shower block and toilets etc. were excellent, all showers were free and lots of space so no queues.

Our children are only 3 and 4 so I felt the play area was a little below par for that age group and the older ones were better catered for.

If only it had a pool, as it was 29 degrees when we were there, it would be blissful!

this is a very beautifully kept site.everyone was so friendly. the only downside was being told where to pitch your tent. apart from that this is a great place to stay

Weekend away in trailer tent with 3 15 y.o. boys - and we survived! The site was full (start of school hols) and a little regimented for our liking, but very pleasant. It is very well kept, and good games room (pool, t-t, video games, tv). Good sized field for football, etc plus play area.
Very friendly/helpful staff.
