We stayed there on the 29th April to the 2nd May, It was lovely and clean the people were very very friendly.
There was a games room, play area, and football field for kids, the showers were out of this world there was heated floors in the shower rooms the toilets were clean and it was very warm in there.
The only problem we had was we had to be off site by 10am which was to early but apart from that we would all go there again.
This time with the kids and family members so in all 10 out of 10 for this site. And all the kids on site loved our dog max who loved all the attention because he got lots of it from the kids there.

Had a lovely weekend at this campsite this is the second time we visited and as always was clean and friendly.
Is in a great area for going to the coast or countryside the toilet and showers are the best we have ever had, loads of room for me and the kids to get showered and changed.
The kids playground is great and a little away from the other campers so that they can be as noisy and have lots of fun.
Really is a lovely site give it a try.

Spent the weekend here to try out our new tent and was very happy with the site.
The reception area was pleasant with a small amount of groceries and fresh meat on sale and the staff happy to help.
The pitch was level and spacious and did not feel cramped at all.
The toilet and shower block was excellent, very clean and well kept, the shower cubicles had underfloor heating which was a pleasant surprise.
Another find was an adequate play area for the children segregated in appropriate ages with a games room.
Overall felt the site was very good, only five minutes from ashford with plenty of supermarkets and shops and five minutes from the m20 motorway

I would definitely recommend Broadhembury to anyone visiting Kent.
The site was well maintained, the showers/toilets were clean, had plenty of hot water even when busy and the staff at reception were very helpful, with a daily weather bulletin, handy, if not terribly well stocked shop (although Tescos was 5 mins. Away) and a good little map for finding pubs, fish and chips etc.
The campers kitchen with freezer and fridge made keeping the 'barbie' steaks for a couple of days very convenient.
My son is 8, and found plenty to do with new friends. The indoor area for the kids is a very good idea. I don't know how many times I played table tennis !
Being located just south of the M20 made travelling around Kent a breeze.

Have just spent our 5th visit this year on this wonderful site, our friends visited last month and were so impressed they came back with us and have said that they will visit again.
We stay mostly on the adult field and can't wait for the new toilet & shower block to be opened next spring (not so far to walk). The high standard facilities are located in the family field with hot showers underfloor heating and a very good kitchen.
The staff are very friendly, the managers & lovely wardens often stop for a chat whilst keeping their eye on things.
Looking forward to a return visit in October.

Just returned from a nine night stay at this lovely little site and would definitely recommend it to others. We are a family of four (kids are 7 and 5) who love spending time together and love the outdoors but don't like 'roughing it' too much.
Broadhembury was absolutely perfect for our needs. Just about big enough to feel like a holiday site but small enough to feel safe and cosy.
We explored every inch of the local area and found it to be a wonderful place for young families with so much, of such variety, to see and do.
Our kids had more freedom on this site than any other due to it's nice cosy feel. They loved the free soccer school and had a great time making friends with kids of all ages on the football field. We loved going for quiet evening family cycle rides around the local lanes dreaming about which houses we'd buy if we won the lottery!
As for the site itself:
Pros: Lovely calm, relaxed site, Neat and tidy, Spotless facilities with lovely hot showers, Great play area/park, Lovely friendly staff.
Cons: Ever so slightly cramped in terms of the facing units, Too many empty seasonal units which detracted slightly from the atmosphere.
If we ever go back to the area we would definitely stay at Broadhembury again!

We booked for 9 nights (post-Easter week)- 2 adults in a tent. Only stayed for 5 night in the end because of poor weather.
Nice site in a good location for access to local area. Some noise noticeable from the dual carriageway, but it wasn’t intrusive. Several supermarkets locally. Helpful staff live on the adults only section.
The site is in two parts. There is an adults only section, but this did not appear to have any toilet/shower/washing up facilities- so not really suitable for tents because of this. The reception/shop/information cabin was located here. The other part of the site is located across a farm lane. There is a code operated gate to access this section. We stayed on this part, which was level with circular access roadway around. On one side of this were static caravans. There are hedges splitting the field up into largish sections. The touring pitches were around the edge of each section, which leaves plenty of grass in front. There were hard standing pitches around the central roadway.
Most pitches appeared to have access to EHU although not all. Water taps, grey water disposal and bins were located in several place on the central roadway.
Clean and heated washrooms, washing up area with fridge, freezer and microwave and a laundry. It was very quiet when we stayed, so I don’t know how these would cope when the site is full. There was a field available for ball games etc behind the amenities block and a children’s play area and games room.
When we arrived the ground was very wet and they were not allowing vehicles to drive onto the grass pitches. It was very quiet with only a few pitches occupied midweek, but a few more arrived at the weekend. Quite a few seasonal caravans, but nobody using them when we were there.

Had a great week at this campsite.Facilities are first class.Showers and toilets are plentiful and always had hot water for showers. The campers kitchen was great due to it being hot you can put food in a carrier bag in the fridge also use of the microwave.Tesco supermarket 5 minutes drive or 30 minute walk.
The pitches are spacious and the staff helpful with ideas for days out. Will definitely recommend the site to others.Great site if you are wanting a stop over on the way to France as 20 minutes drive from the channel tunnel and 30 minutes to Dover.

This site ticks a lot of boxes.
The staff are very efficient, the site is very clean and tidy, the facilities are excellent (including the very clean shower block, campers kitchen, kids play areas and games room) and it is a very quiet spot.
Having said all of the positives I have a few negatives that, even though the site was great, might make me think twice about returning in a hurry.
1. The staff are a little too eager to maintain the rules. You frequently see them riding round and you feel like you are being closely watched at times.
2. The tent pitches are just a bit too small for me. Our tent is not big, but it was a fairly tight squeeze with vehicle and those pitches opposite were just a bit too close for comfort.
3. The site is perhaps just a tad too quiet. The 'return to tent' by 10pm and 'no noise at all' after 11pm means that after 10pm when we were there you felt that even unzipping the door was going to wake everyone up.
I understand that different people look for different things in a site, but I personally would appreciate a bit more of a chilled out approach from the staff and a bit more space.

Great location as we were waiting for our son to return from France. Site is very well maintained. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Site was very secure, had a pin number gate to enter. We felt as if we were in Holland as many Dutch visitors, who were very friendly and made our stay very interesting.
Location good to visit areas around Kent, and there are some very nice walks around the campsite.
Play area was good for children, and there was football tuition at the weekend, don't know if this was a regular event, but did not annoy campers as play area was set away from tents.
Would return to site.
