Lovely family camping/caravan site. Free showers and washing up, lovely hot water and immaculately clean. Good play facilities and games room, although the air hockey wasn't working during our stay. Ground was quite hard on our pitch so getting pegs in was hard work. Wifi was not good at our pitch but we were offered a refund, and we were furthest from router. Very friendly and helpful staff. Facilities well about the average campsite. Central location in Kent and we managed to take in London (40 mins by train) and Paris (via Eurostar). Football training on Mondays during the holidays so ideal for keen young footballers, though no ball games allowed around the site (rightly so). The only other thing I could have wanted would be a swimming pool - but my son loved Tenterden Leisure Centre pool. Would definitely highly recommend.

Wonderful park and friendly owners. Please do not be put off by bad press regarding operation stack. It does not affect holiday makers at all. We've got to places we wished to visit with no problems and there is so many more to visit. We have even been to the White Cliffs of Dover! Make sure that you are either National Trust or English Heritage members too. They are great back up for rainy days or for days where you wish to take a picnic and watch the pennies! Used the herb garden for our dinner one evening which was a nice touch. Facilities were immaculate. Children's play area was fantastic as was the games room. Also got to play in the football pitch bit, which can be used for some other ball games too. We have already booked for next year.

This is a true five star site with the best facilities we have ever found on a caravan park. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and owners Lee and Sally who made us welcome from the moment we arrived - with a guided escort to our pitch since our unit (American Fifth Wheel) does take a bit of manoeuvring.
Every need was catered for and the Meadows pitch was a delight. True, the weather did help with the whole experience but a clever mix of caravans and tents on the gently sloping site made the stay all the more pleasurable.
The toilets and free showers (wonderful variable heat control) were absolutely spotless, supervised by the the 'singing cleaner' who added entertainment to her skills. One of our overnight visitors commented that the showers were better than most five star hotels she had stayed in.
Almost all reviews have an element of constructive criticism but in this case you can throw the rule book out of the window - a very positive experience and a site which we will certainly return to, hopefully in the very near future. Thank you all for a wonderful stay.

This was our first visit and certainly won't be our last. Such a lovely site - clean, tidy and well looked after. The staff were excellent - always cheerful and very helpful. We felt very welcome. So much information in reception area and lots of ideas for places to go.
We all had a great time (children 11 and 8). The play area and field kept them entertained and lots of new friendships were made by all. We had lovely days out to Port Lympne, Dover Castle and Canterbury and there are so many more places to explore during our future stays.
If all the 'Best of British' campsites are as good as this then I look forward to exploring further afield. This will definitely be our weekend bolt-hole of choice. Thank you Broadhembury, see you soon!

Not long back from our second visit to this fabulous site, I walked into the reception and was recognised. This shows me how much they appreciate their clientele. This park had improvements carried out to improve access to the serviced pitches. There are plans to continue the improvements. The park was as immaculate as when I first visited last year. The owners are two of the loveliest people I have met, you are received with a smile and a chat, you are put at ease as soon as you met them. Their staff are just as friendly and everyone are professional in their mannerisms. I am sure I will be returning year on year. Thank you for a wonderful stay, again.

They say first impressions are everything, well all I'll say is from the start everything looked good. When we arrived we were greeted with a warm smile and a welcome pack, including, things to do, where to shop, where to eat and drink (along with recommendations and more importantly where to not eat), alongside this we were also asked if we would like fresh bread or a paper in the morning.
We were then escorted to our pitch, which was in the family section (the childfree section is on the opposite side of the park), we were also given a familiarisation talk, which was incredibly thorough and didn't miss a thing.
Throughout the weekend there was a constant staff presence, ensuring the facilities were clean, these ran into the night (latest I saw someone was 11PM). They also enforce the quiet times and have a 24 hr callout to resolve any issues. 1 morning the rangers apologised for the noise the previous night, I barely heard a thing.
They were even helpful when we were a little late due to having to wait for rescue services as I locked my keys in the boot!
To use the WiFi we had to purchase a code, but at about £8 for 48 hours (2 devices) it hardly broke the bank. Managed to get a good signal in the family park.

PERFECT ! What a brilliant site. We have just got back today from having spent 7 days & I could not wait to write my review
The staff were so welcoming on our arrival it felt like we were visiting friends. Lots of information given about the site & map of local area & showing where supermarkets/petrol stations etc.
Daily newspapers ordered & no extra charge.
Our pitch had plenty of room. We were in the Adults area but did wander round to family area & all looked very nice with nice play area for the children. Also a recreation room.
Toilets & showers were spotless at all times.
Well done to all the staff.
Great area as a base there was so much to see & do & we didn't fit it all in.
It was our first time at this site but def wont be the last.

Fab site. Spent 5 nights there after easter. Helpful and friendly staff, Clean and warm showers and facilities, cleanest we have come across. Very useful to have a microwave to use as well. Level pitches and generous sized. My boys, aged 11 and 9 love the games room and football pitch. Tesco is 5 mins down the road and there is a small shop that stocks the basics and you can order papers and fresh bread. There is a adults only field and a family field so no worries about children disturbing others. A separate area for seasonal and statics and a non electric section too. There is a herb garden you can pick fresh herbs. If you have visitors you need to check them in and pay a deposit which you get back unless they stay longer than 5 hours.

We have just had a two night stay at this site in the Adult Meadow as we were doing a practice run for our trip to France to see what we forgot! It was just my husband and I in a VW T4 camper with electric hook-up. Such lovely people here, could not do enough for us, they showed us to our pitch and were really helpful they know all about the local area. The facilities were spotless and the under floor heating was a bonus. I also used the washing up area and this is well equipped with fridge, freezer, microwave, washing facilities, ( I only used the sink myself!) The shop has a few local produce items, there were cakes from a local shop, meat locally sourced available in the freezer to name a few. You are also able to get a takeaway delivered, which we did although the pizza man was just down the road looking a bit lost as we think he was new! Great pizza! It is a site that is out of the way and in the adult side it was really peaceful we did not venture into the family area so are unable to advise on this. Would definitely recommend this site and hope to return again. Also used the Wi Fi. We cycled to Rye and Dymchurch the weather was really warm all weekend had a really lovely time.
