This has to be one of the very best run sites in the country. Everything is 'just so', from the welcome to the pitches to the sanitary facilities. The only thing letting it down is the location, as Ashford is really a place to avoid unless you're heading for the Designer Outlet Centre. Otherwise it's just a useful stop-off to or from Dover or the Channel Tunnel.

We have just stayed at this wonderful site for 2 nights. The greeting and attention to detail was first class. Being shown to the pitch on adults meadow was a treat and very informative. The plot was very generous and well kept with new fencing and planting. Everywhere was spotless and tidy. The hair driers in the ladies were free which made a change from finding 20ps. The site was a little pricey but with a promo discount made it competitive and also quality does not come cheap. We will definitely return here again and highly recommend it.

What can I say except 'superb'
Booked to stay for a week whilst visiting family in the area.
Staff - Friendly, nothing too much trouble, always visible and always cleaning, cutting grass etc etc etc
Facilities - truly 5 star, clean, warm, regularly serviced, fridge area for those in tents, washing machine, baby changing, food prep area.
Site - immaculate, generous pitches well separated from statics and tents, grass pitching available. Separate adults only area for those not travelling with children. No bar area/clubhouse but that suits us. Good play area for kids and gated site so unable to just wander off.
Very well placed for trips to Dover Castle, Dymchurch and large Tesco's close by.
Looking forward to next visit to Kent and will be staying here again.

Have just returned from a night’s stay at this campsite camping in the adult’s meadow, have seen it in the BOB for a couple of years now, but like lots of things wish we had come sooner, just brilliant. A very peaceful campsite all you hear are the birds, occasionally you do hear traffic in the distance.
We were warmly welcome by wardens Diane and Andy, they could not have been more helpful and accommodating nothing was too much trouble. We were given a map of the park and on the other side gives points of interest, pubs, doctors, shops etc that are local and a couple of leaflets of things to do in Kent, thought that was lovely as we are not familiar with the county and it gave us several ideas of places to visit. We were shown to our pitch which was in the grassed area, could even have a large picnic table as there were several in the middle of the field to help yourself to. The pitches are very flat and spacious. They are all 16amp which is brilliant especially in the colder months as you are not so restricted. Once pitched we went for a wander round, the family area is across the lane which is good, very spacious again and comes with a games room and a sports pitch plus the usual play equipment.
What can I say about the facilities, they really are first class and spotlessly clean, separate shower cubicles which give plenty of drying space, a bench for your clothes, bags etc and a couple of hooks and plenty of hot water. In most of the loos there is also a separate wash basin. There are a couple of hair dryers in the ladies but also sockets if you refer your own or have hair straighteners. The laundry and washing up room again spotless and they also have a large fridge and freezer which you can use, always handy if camping with just a tiny fridge in your tent! Microwave as well as a washing machine and tumble dryer.
There is a lovely herb garden just the other side of the barrier (code given on arrival) which you can use. The shop is well stocked and even sells wine and beer and amazing cakes! There is a good selection of books to borrow. They do close at 2pm (low season) which seems strange as that is the time you book in from and also if you want an ice cream or something you are kind of stuck unless the warden is there checking someone in although Diane saw us and asked if we wanted something and she would have opened up. Opening times I feel are the only thing to be addressed really.
There are no pubs/restaurants within walking distance but there are several take away leaflets and the companies will deliver your food to reception. We did however walk to the local cricket club which was on the site map as it said cricket club/bar. It is just under a mile away and if they are playing cricket you are more than welcome to go and drink there, just bear in mind they only take cash. The guys in the bar could not have been more friendly or accommodating.
The long and short of it is that we will be returning but next time for more than a night, it is a really gem of a find and it is a relatively short drive for us which is good as most of the adult campsites are a long drive from Hampshire. Just the M25 before we get peace and quiet.
Thanks again Broadhembury, you have an amazing campsite.

Our second visit to Broadhembury. Last time we were allocated a grass pitch in the second field but on this occasion we had a lovely hardstanding in the main area.
As others have said, this site is immaculately maintained by very helpful and enthusiastic staff. The sanitary block is faultless and spotless and even passes my 'hand-dryer test' - so many sites fall down by providing a hand-dryer which wouldn't blow the skin off a rice pudding! The only let-down is the lack of anywhere nice to eat in the immediate vicinity, and even Ashford seems pretty dire in that regard.

Once again a fantastic stay here. Toilets and showers are exceptionally clean with underfloor heating. Very friendly and helpful staff who go above and beyond the norm. There's a camp kitchen with microwave, fridge, freezer, and sinks. Family area and a separate adult area. Well equipped play areas for the children with a games room that you can hire the equipment for. Poor wifi/mobile signal but that's not what I go away for so doesn't bother me to be tech free. There's lots to do around the area, the shopping outlet centre and rare breeds animal centre. A Tesco just up the road to get the shopping and the shop sells the basics. Staff are about all day maintaining the grounds and checking everyone's ok. Would definitely recommend a stay here

I have stayed at Broadhembury for a few weeks and have enjoyed it immensely. The park is very clean and tidy. The facilities are excellent and always spotless. The staff are friendly, very helpful and work very hard to make you feel very welcome and ensure you have a wonderful stay. It is in a peaceful location though everything you need is close by. I really like that it has an adults only area and there is also a great play area for children.
I am leaving in the next couple of days and sad to do so but I have booked my pitch to return in November.

We have been here several times over the past few months and every time we are pleasantly greeted and well looked after. The site is clean and well tended, facilities are the best we have seen, and we love the heated bathroom areas! It will be a regular stop for the foreseeable future.

We have visited this site on numerous occasions. Its a first class site with excellent facilities. The site is well maintained, clean and a pleasure to stay at. Amenities include heated shower blocks, Laundry rooms and a playing field (with swings) for children. There is even a herb garden. The site provides a fridge and freezer for use by campers. You have the choice of two fields - the main field is for families while the top field is for adults only. The staff are friendly and helpful. The only downside is there is no pub within a short walking distance - the nearest being the Queens Head which is probably over a mile away.

This is the 4th time a have camped at Broadhembury, it's always a pleasure to come back. The staff are very helpful and friendly, pitches are clean well kept, toilet blocks warm, clean showers big and water hot. There is a Tesco Super store about 3 miles away, fishing on the doorstep and golf 2 miles away.
The area is quiet no traffic or trains to beard, the time I have stayed there was no noise from campers at all after 11. 30pm.
