Stayed for a week in august
Site is very flat and grass in great condition
Pitches are around the edge of the field only and there are 20 of them - this is great as kids (and adults!) can play in the middle of the field and there is plenty of space between tents etc
Quite sheltered at one end by a big farm building and trees and bushes all around the field edge
Its just across the road from a fab beach too - the dunes also shelter the site from the sea winds - not like another site I saw nearer to beadnell itself which was being battered!
Seahouses is within walking distance and so is beadnell and the whole area is beautiful with plenty to do - check out alnwick gardens and castle also bamburgh castle - great views - also near to lindisfarne
Showers however were terrible while I was there - the drainage was faulty and the trays filled up with water and smelt of bad eggs every time used - eugh I dread to think what I was standing in! - toilets cleaned once daily but could have done with more as always smelt of urine and some campers left them in a right mess - need I say more!
Washing machine and dryer quite reasonable tho and showers 20p for 8 mins so not bad
I enjoyed my stay here it was nice and quiet and very reasonable price - £13 per night for pitch with ehu

The situation of this site is delightful with easy access to the beach and nearby Seahouses with its boat trips to the Farnes and its wonderful chippies.

The site itself is well cared for with good access and hook ups and given the C&C Club listing on maximum numbers and price should have been fairly quiet.

However, during out stay we had 2 large groups of campers.
One group of over 10 'teenagers' in a large spider tent drinking and screaming into the early hours and another group of family campers with 5 large tents pitched together in a huddle. Parents drunk and young kids running riot around the rest of the site and playing with the water taps and leaving them on.

The toilets (2) and showers (2) situated in one small communal room were basic but clearly inadequate for the numbers/type of users on site and consequently soon became very dirty and unusable after about 8.00am. Until they were cleaned (once a day) Toilet rolls rapidly disappeared.

All in all a great disappointment given how pleasant it could be if the owners used a bit more self control over bookings

Booked up just in time for a very windy Bank Holiday weekend. One night stay with EHU. Not every sight will allow that on a Bank Holiday.
Found the site without any problems even though there are quite a few sites in the area with Beadnell in the title.
There is even another 'Camping and Caravanning Club' site half a mile South.
The site itself is within a working farm. Reporting to 'reception' is more a matter of catching the owners in their house than filling in paperwork.
The pitches are flat, even and the grass in good condition. The field is sheltered by bushes and trees. Part of the field has a farm building on which affords great shelter from wind.
There was plenty of room for the children to play although there was no designated play area.
If your children can amuse themselves without climbing frames and swings they should not have a problem here.
Men and women use the same toilet block. Two showers and two toilets. Walking through the central front door, the washing up sink is directly in front of you. To the right is a washing machine. Walking either side of the washing up sink will take you to a shower and toilet. There are no urinals. The shower runs from a coin meter.
Being a working farm you wouldn't expect a pub to be on site and as we didn't go looking, I am not sure if there is one in the local village but I expect there would be.
The view of the north sea is quite spectacular on the way to the newsagent, grocer and fast food shop just down the road.
I would come again to this site without any worries. It's simple but you can see what you're paying for all around you.

This is a lovely, friendly, well kept site just 1 mile north of Beadnell in Northumberland. The owners were very friendly and helpful, there is only two Toilets and showers at this site but they are modern and kept spotlessly clean! The pitches are Grass with some electric, all are level and kept in good order. This site is a great base for visiting the nearby towns of,Seahouses,Beadnell,Bamburgh, and surrounding area. Will definitely be going back to the site!.
