Absolutely fabulous site clean and welcoming We stayed in Adult only walled garden only 8 units peaceful and very close to a beach Facilities include a shower toilet and washing up electric hook up and water very close by
Pitches are large and well kept
Cannot fault the site if like us you wanted a quiet close to beach. Other amenities available in village walking distance and Seahouses for shopping again walkable
Might regret giving such a glowing report as will definitely want to come back again and again
If you want swimming pools, playground and the high life do not stay here !
Peace and tranquillity in bucket loads !

Annstead Farm Caravan & Luxury Campsite
The site is on a working farm in a very good location, walking distance to both Seahouses and Beadnell. Booking was very straight forward. First we rang the campsite and spoke to the owner and booked the site. We were then sent a 3 page e-mail with booking form and all the information we needed and the best route to the site from the A1. On arrival you look on either the notice board by the farmhouse or the notice board by the field gate for the pitch number.
We chose to go on the field which has 22 pitches ( the other option is in the walled garden which has 6/7 pitches ) I have to say the pitches are very spacious, we had loads of room. The grass is very well kept. There is a track at the side of the field that you can use for dog walking even the lane has the grass cut at both sides for about a mile. ( This still didn’t stop the odd to??er bagging the dog poo up and leaving it hanging from the wire fence)
Toilets were well maintained and cleaned late morning everyday, even the shower curtain changed mid week
Over the week we spoke to most of the family from the farm, All were very friendly and helpful. We also meet 7 lovely couples which all in all made it a fantastic week. Thank to everyone

Good site plenty of room we put the caravan side on with awning to get the sun as everybody else seemed to do. Facilities were fine and clean. Good electric hook-ups No complaints what so ever.
Good handy position for touring round the area.
Good value for money.
Would stay again no hesitation.

Just back from a 6 night stay on this site. We chose the walled garden which was lovely. Plenty of space between pitches. Toilet and shower available with washing up sink in small block at one end of garden.
More facilities across the yard which we preferred for showers. No charge for showers but charge seems to have gone up. We paid £19 per night.
Superb location. Best way to the beach was to turn left at site entrance and go through the gate on the other side of the road. Easy walks to Beadnell and Seahouses. We also walked along the farm track and saw the bats emerging at dusk.
Highlights for us were the tern sanctuary at the end of the main beach at Beadnell. Saw little terns for the first time. Also liked the Ship inn at Low Newton further along the coast path. Brewery on site and delicious pub lunches
We loved the site and recommend it

Stayed here for 4 nights in Walled Garden. Lovely secluded site in convenient location. Both Beadnell and Seahouses within walking distance and beach is just a hop, skip and a jump over the sand dunes.
One unisex shower/toilet/ wash-up room for 8 vans within walled garden but plenty more facilities across the yard - all very clean.
Brilliant place to come with your dog. Walkies on the beach or down the the farm lane.
Unfortunately the weather was pretty poor for most of our stay which spoilt it a bit, but we'd definitely return as we love Northumberland.

Really nice site. Good facilities. Site is between Seahouses and Beadnelll. Spacious pitches. Just across the road from a lovely beach. Great for dogs. There are dog friendly pubs in Seahouses and Beadnelll.
Only down side never saw the owners. Notice said we had to put fee through door on first day. Not obvious where to park on pitch. Could not get an answer at the door tried all day. If anything was to happen on the campsite felt we would have had no one to contact.
Other than that nice peaceful site but we were there out of season so don't know what it is like when busy.

We stayed over the Easter Holidays (including the Easter Weekend) and the price was 4 x £24 and 3 x £22, total £162 (2 adults, EHU and 2 under the age of 3. ) A fairly standard price. The showers were free for most of the week except the final day - I am not sure why but we had to pay 20p for 4 minutes.
I liked the site and we will be back again the future if we stay in Northumberland again. It is perfectly located.
Good TV reception. No wifi (not a problem for us but maybe for some?). Showers very powerful. The showers were not always immaculate but as there were two then maybe to be expected. I always take a mat anyway.
There were washing machines and dryers. I did one wash and a dry and I think it cost near £5.
Pitches are very big, the biggest I have come across.
16amp electric.

If you want an all singing all dancing site, with pool, kids play area etc, this site is not for you.
If you want a relaxed, family friendly, clean, unfussed site, this is for you.
The main field has 24 pitches, arranged around the edge of the field, plent of space between pitches, the centre of the field left clear for children to play on, and they do, games of football, cricket etc, lots of bikes, lots of kiddy noise, going near silent at kiddy bed time, around 9. 30.
I love this site, it's a great location for a relaxing holiday, the beach is minutes away from the main field. Being on a working farm adds it own entertainment & sights, I was fascinated be the combine harvester, and the sounds of the animals, well I just love it.
People complain about the showers and being charged, but this site is cheaper than anything within miles, cleaner, less crowded and more relaxing, so 40p for a shower is no hardship.
If I was to recommend one improvement, it would be for the addition of a freezer to the kitchen area, to freeze ice packs, at present, you need to go to the farm house, where they will freeze them for nothing, but I always feel as though I'm disrupting their breakfast or tea. A freezer in the kitchen would make my mornings a little more relaxing.

We did a one night stay in our motorhome at this pristine farm site. We stayed in the walled garden which was adults only and only about 6 pitches. There was also a toilet and shower room with kitchen sink facilities and hair dryer points. We didn't see the water taps or chemical waste areas - these must have been situated by the large field adjacent to the walled garden.
The site is a working farm but had no noise from such. It was pristine and clean, neat grass pitches and quiet.
It is a 20 minute walk into Seahouses or a few minutes across the road to the beach. In Seahouses you will find all amenities of a small fishing town with lovely harbour and boat trips to the Farne Islands. Bamburgh castle and Lindisfarne are in the area.
As it is a working farm, children would have to be well behaved, but a super place to take children.
Our pitch allocation was signposted so didn't meet the owners but she rang us to say we had paid twice which was very nice of her. 10/10

It's difficult not to make the comparison with the C & C Club site just a mile or so down the road.
Annstead hasn't increased its price since last year £16 for the 'farmyard' and £17 for the quieter 'Walled Garden' is fair by anyone's standards.
All the pitches for vans and caravans have hook up.
There is good shelter and plenty of space.
Its well set back from the main road and very peaceful.
We really like this Site and will be back again.
