This site was perfect for us-only a 2 minute walk to the beach or a 15 minute walk to Seahouses or Beadnell.

The owners are a busy working farm and leave to you to get on with your holiday in peace.

The price is good at £18 per night with no added hidden extras for awning or dogs.

We were on the the larger site which accommodates 21 pitches but there was plenty of room and everyone was very friendly. The walled garden looked full and is ideal if you don't want to be disturbed by children-however there were only 2 on our site and they were no bother so it wasn't an issue for us.

The showers and toilets are immaculate and are free. Lots of hot water and heated.

Lots to do in the area with Bamburgh a really lovely place to visit.

We will be making a return hopefully sooner rather than later

We have just got back from 7 nights here

We stayed in the 'walled garden' a really nice, separate section (adults only)

Great sized pitches, nicely sheltered.

Very laid back approach from the owners, suits us perfectly.

Superb position on the Northumbrian coast, perfect for exploring

The beach, just across the road is great for dogs and children, miles of sand, you can walk to Seahouses or up to Beadnell along it.

There is a good pub in Beadnell, the Craster Arms, it serves good food and is very dog friendly

We will definitely be back

Maybe it would have been a different experience if the weather had been better and we had been given a pitch in the walled garden but I was a bit disappointed. We were allocated a space facing a large and unlovely modern barn and it poured all the time we were there - so much so we didn't even walk across the road to the beach. Facilities are very good, modern and warm - it was the weather (not their fault) and the view that disappointed us.

This is a lovely site very tidy, even though it is a working farm. Toilet block is very well kept, showers are adjustable heat wise which is good, because everyone is different as to how they like their shower.

There is a beautiful beach 5 minutes walk from the site and you can walk into Seahouses along the coast, across a golf course, about 20 minutes or a wee bit more if you walk slow.

The walk into Beadnell is about the same the other way, there is a lovely little shop at Beadnell that sell a multitude of things. Also a fish and chip shop.

There are no facilities for children on site, only the beach.

There is a walled section that is for adults only but must have a breathable ground sheet for awnings. We did see some in there that had the same awning as us, an all in one, where the ground sheet is part of the awning. Ie sewn in. We had asked to go in the walled garden but were told we could not because of our awning having a sewn in ground sheet, even though we do put a breathable one underneath.

I was also a little bit disappointed that on arriving the owner of the site gave very basic instructions to the site, gave me my pitch number and that was it. No site plan where to find things and the Chemical water and grey waste had no signs. I had to ask people on site.

Would we go back yes, have to say these were some of the largest pitches that we have seen on any camp site.

Stayed for a week and extended by an extra day before having to return to work.

This is a beautiful site on a working farm - but there was only the odd passing farm vehicle which does not intrude on your stay one bit.

We were pitched, as we requested, in the field, on the grass. The pitches are large and you are able to pitch whichever way round you wish.

The toilet blocks are modern and in very good condition and the showers were free when we stayed.

Very reasonably priced at £18/night and it was nice that it was an all in price without having to add this & that to get the total!

The beach was across the road with miles of beautiful sand and we walked from the site, across the beach and through the Golf Course into Seahouses with our elderly dog which took about 40 mins.

One day on the way back from Berwick Upon Tweed we stopped at Cockburnlaw Beach & were treated to a display by a pod of dolphins.

We will be returning here and would highly recommend the site.

This was a second stay at this site. Our motorhome was pitched in the walled garden, an adults-only enclave although we chose it for the small-site feel and shelter from the strong winds. In this respect it was perfect.

The site is very well located, a beach across the road, Seahouses and Beadnell within 15 mins walk and the rest of the wonderful Northumberland coast within easy reach by car or by bus from the site entrance.

The walled garden had its own toilet and shower, a bit basic but perfectly satisfactory.

From previous experience we know that the main site can get wet during prolonged rain.

Overall though this is a lovely site in a great location.

We've just spent a very enjoyable week here. The pitches are huge and well spaced out, and the grass and surroundings were all well maintained. The general feeling of the site was laid back which suited us, our 3 kids and our dog. As the pitches are so well spaced, the kids enjoyed playing with other children in all the space and there is a convenient lane to walk the dogs down. The beach is just across the road, which was just deserted! You can also walk to Seahouses along the beach. Great to have the amenities of sea houses and beadnell close by.

Although the toilets were kept clean, the only gripe is that there could be more than just two toilets for male and female as the site was full.

Just got back from annstead farm and can safely say we'll be going back.

The location is perfect for walking, 15 minutes to sea houses one way and 15 minutes the opposiite way to beadnell.

The beach is all of a couple of minutes away from the farm great if you want to get the dogs or kids straight on the beach.

We stayed in the walled garden (adults only area) the location was perfect, quiet and really big pitch spaces. There are only 8 pitches so plenty of space. The area also comes with its own toilet and shower, this was very handy.

All in all a very good location for a very good price for a six night stay, would recommend to anyone.

We looked at the family site on the farm which looked just as good, plenty of pitch space and not packed on the the location.

Stayed in the walled garden this time. Adults only part of site. Excellent site. £21 a night. Good toilet facilities. The main field I'd good too. Stayed on that part of site too. Massive pitch space. Across the road is the beach. Through 50yds of dunes. Deserted beaches. 20 mins walk into seahouse. Footpath all the way. We did check out c/c site at Beadnal. But that was really packed and at £25 a night far too much money. Anstead farm is much better. Book there for first choice. Don't see owners at all. List of booking in and pitch locations are notice board, would certainly return again.

We are repeat visitors to this Site and it ticks so many boxes compared to C & CC's Beadnell location just down the road:

* Plenty of space in both Field & Walled Garden, we stayed in the latter.

* Price is similar to C & CC which raises the question just what are a member's benefits?

* Facilities are good and clean.

* Location - off the road but still near the beach and on the bus route.

Only suggestion to improve the Site would be to put the traditional mop & bucket in all the toilet blocks. Floors in the main block can get quite dirty from the farmyard.
