What a brilliant site. Booking recommended as a few of the people I spoke to only managed to get in due to cancellation.
You can choose your pitch when you book but was told that they may not be doing that in future.
We were in pitch 5 which is nice and shaded thank goodness as needed it in the hot days. Not good for telly lovers as no signal but that didn’t bother us.
Spotless facilities.
People who run it are lovely. As said on other reviews good bus service just at end of road of site.
Great cafe/Bistro just outside gates. Nice to stop on way back on hot days to have a lovely homemade ice cream or milk shake.
It’s also doggie friendly.
The site also sells ice cream and lollies.
Would highly recommend this site.
Lovely views of the sunsets and very quiet

Lovely, quiet site. All pitches looking on to the small lake.
5 minutes from huge sandy beach, 20 minute amble along beach to Weston prom. With all its attractions.
Also nice country walks behind site.
N. B. Due to the lake I wouldn't consider the site as child friendly and the last 800 yds or so of the approach road could be awkward if towing a large unit due to parked vehicles reducing the usable width of the road.

Spent 3 nights at uphill. Marina. Directions to the site along with how to access the site were fine.
Pitch was reasonably sized, with EHU, and all pitches face the lake. Showers are basic but are clean, could do with a stool in the cubicle.
Two pubs in the village, both serve food. Nice walk from the site along the beach to Weston, also a bus stop at the site entrance.
Good walks from the site.
Nice peaceful site.

Great little site around a small lake, near Weston-Super-Mare.
Facilities are okay, but the green toilet unit could be improved/modernised. It has no ventilation and can be smelly at times. The shower and toilet block at the entrance better but not so conveniently placed.
That said the site has also had new owners during the last couple of years. They do seem to be slowly improving things. They also run the marina which has been tidied and upgraded.
There are two pubs, a shop and a restaurant a short walk away. You are also very near the beach and can walk to Weston Super Mare easily.

Just spent an excellent four nights at this campsite.
The location is fantastic with numerous walks available direct from the campsite.
There are plenty of places to explore (eg Cheddar Gorge and Weston-Super-Mare).
We did not use the showers so cannot comment on them (see previous reviews) but the toilet block seemed adequate as did all the other facilities we used.
The cafe just outside the entrance is very recommendable.

Lovely peaceful site,
Close to walking and cycling paths to Brean and Weston.
5 minute walk to the beach, about 30 minutes along the beach to Weston.
Can't fault the site, we loved it and will be back!

Excellent site beautifully laid out, however, the toilet/shower facilities are limited and restricted to 15 minutes.
Our friend, who is disabled, found it very difficult to shower, dress all in 15 minutes and got very upset about this.

The site is in a good position on the outskirts of Weston Super Mare. The National Cycle route passes by the front gate. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I asked for guidance on a couple of occasions and my request was dealt with quickly and completely.
Although the site in general is very flat, my pitch was not and I could not get the motorhome level even using ramps.
The shower cubicles are on the small side consequently the floor is wet and dirty from entering the shower cubicle with your shoes on. The showers are single electric units. The floor is tiles with nothing to stand on when drying.
The site does not provide facilities for re-cycling plastic, glass or other recyclable products.

Great little site around a small lake, near Weston-Super-Mare. Facilities are okay, but could be improved/modernised.
We visited in a motorhome, and walked to Weston along the beach,
There are a couple of pubs just up the road seeing food. We visited the Ship, it was very nice.
