Wow wow and WOW a thousand times!
This place has recently been taken over by a young family and the improvements so far are outstanding.
This was one of our favourite sites anyway, but we shall now be visiting even more!
The hardstandings all the way around with grass for awnings is a very very welcome addition. It now means at busy times during the Winter months we are now more likely to be able to reserve a pitch. There were only 12 before, and when we were there it was FULLY BOOKED over the 24 pitches that they now have all year.
The person moaning upthread (November) saying they are an 'eyesore' REALLY?? What an exaggeration! I wouldn't be surprised if that was the previous lady ha ha!
This place is an absolute gem and stunning, and the new owners are making it better, not worse! It's lovely to see some money being spent on the place!
It couldn't get worse, the previous lady was awful and we used to flip a coin who would ring, but Katie and Rob are an absolute pleasure to deal with, and the addition of online booking and even BEING ABLE TO BOOK YOUR PITCH well wow again!
Keep up the great work guys, you've a fabulous site and it can only get better. Bravo and Happy New Year!

Great welcome from site staff! This was our first visit to Uphill and won't be our last. Very scenic site which is under gradual improvement under new ownership.
There are pleasant dog-friendly walks and cycle paths nearby.
A couple of nearby pubs provide food and there is a great café close to the site.
Uphill beach is not far away and dogs are allowed.
Highly recommended

Stayed her for one night in order to attend the Weston Super Mare Christmas Cracker 10k run the next morning.
Is the first time we have stayed here and like it very much.
It was a very windy night, but we had a pitch with some hedge protection.
Is a very picturesque site with the sea, dunes, rock cliffs, ancient church on a hill all visible from the site.
Pitches are all hardstanding which is great this time of year.
The new owners have a number of plans to update the site and facilities.
The facilities are clean and tidy.
We will be coming back to this site next year with other family members and their camper/motorhomes.

This is a wonderful site. As a child I lived on the edge of Poole Harbour. Within walking distance I could enjoy all the sites and sounds of the seaside in all winds and weathers. I now live in rural Herefordshire many miles away from the seaside. This site, which I have known now for many years, reminds me in every possible way of the sights and sounds of the seaside I enjoyed so many years ago.
The site is safe, well managed and also within easy walking distance of some great pubs and restaurants.
If you are thinking of a trip to this part of the world you will not be disappointed if you decide to stay at Uphill Warf.

We had a warm, friendly and helpful welcome when we arrived. The site is very picturesque with all pitches overlooking lake and harbour.
We really enjoyed our walk to the top of Uphill for fantastic views which is a lovely backdrop too!
During our one night stay, we thoroughly enjoyed our headland walk at Sand Bay headland - north of Weston Super Mare and walked from site along the beach into the centre.
We had our 2 dogs and the beach has clear signs where you can walk safely.
Two local pubs- both dog friendly and bus stop right outside the site.
Great little site for our short visit.

A very friendly couple have taken over the boat yard and caravan site. They gave us a very warm welcome.
We will definitely return to this little haven.
Great site for cycling and easy access to Weston.

This used to be our most favourite site, a brilliant location close to the beach which you can walk along into Weston super Mare.
Uphill is a wonderful village with a shop and 2 good pubs.
The site has recently changed ownership.
Unfortunately the new owners have decided to convert it in to a fully hardstanding site.
This is such a shame it used to be a beautiful little site and now looks a real eyesore.

New owners who are making some wonderful needed changes to an already lovely site.
Upgrades to showers and toilets, new hardstandings. Very friendly and helpful.
Outside of the site are 2 pubs, bus stop, into Western 5 mins, or a lovely Walk in along the beach.
Fab cafe directly outside of the site.
Great views and peaceful.
