Amazing campsite! Clean facilities, run by lovely people who are there to help if you need them.
Really good for a stay, and local to Alton towers and many more walking routes.
Stayed here to visit Luds Church the next day.
Brought the dog, and they had fires available free to use, were off ground and really easy!
Amazing time!

Great setting - picturesque, a working farm with lots of animals and great walks from the site.
Gill was friendly and helpful. Fire pits and firewood on site were a bonus.
The facilities were basic but everything you need and kept clean - there’s a freezer for ice blocks, indoor washing up, and a hot shower. It’s a fair walk downhill to the main facilities - fine for us but could be an issue for anyone with mobility issues.
Overall great value for money.

The location and scenery is beautiful with a only a short walk away from the nearest town.
The facilities are amazing, although the walk to the farm can be awkward sometimes.
The heads of the site are incredibly friendly and very helpful.
Me and my partner were incredibly satisfied with our stay and the value for money is amazing.
I couldn't think of a fault during our stay.

Excellent little site.
Farm was so welcoming and our daughter loved going around to see the animals.
Showers and toilets a very short walk down the hill.
Will definitely be back.

It's a working farm so our 3 kids loved exploring to see the animals and equipment. The owners were more than happy to talk end explain everything about farm life.
There are plenty of picnic benches and fire barrels to use. There are toilets in the main field too.
The showers, fridge and washing is a 2 min walk down the track. EVERYTHING is clean and well maintained. It has a rustic charm.
A word of advice. It's not the flattest camp site so pick your spot carefully.
Probably not a concern for small tents, caravans or campers.

We stayed here for the early May Bank Holiday 2022 as a group of 5 tents and 2 camper-vans / motor-homes.
The field isn't flat and is a sloping field but it was simple enough to find a flattish area to pitch.
I was surprised how quiet the site was, with only two other tents in the field outside of our group.
The site has two toilets and a water tap in the camping field although one toilet was not working during the visit. The toilets were well stocked with roll, soap and bleach.
There is also a shower, toilet and pot washing facilities a little walk up the path to the owners farm house.
The staff/team were tremendous and very helpful.
Fire pits are dotted around the filed and fire wood is available at the farm house to buy.
The site is about 15 minutes outside of Leek so lots of shops aren't that far away.
There is also a wild life park local for the kids but it is not a cheap day out.
Overall a great but basic site, we will definitely be returning to this site.

Lovely campsite, had the pleasure of being the only ones for a while until another couple joined.
Be careful if it has been raining and the ground is wet as it is just a field, slightly sloped and we got stuck.
We rang the owners and they very kindly sent someone to come and get us out after us trying for a while ourselves. They were lovely tho,
I would deffo go back if passing through again.
Has basic toilets on the field, apparently there is showers and more toilets in a barn just off the campsite but we didn't look for them as wasn't needed.

What a wonderful little campsite that we had completely to ourselves,
Showers, washing facilities, and toilet, although basic, they were more than adequate…
Extremely friends owners, that have fire pits on request and pulled us out of the field when we were stuck.
30 minutes walk from Butterton…
We would definitely return to this campsite and to the beautiful setting of the Peak District
