I agree with all the reviews saying that the views from this site are unrivalled. We had reserved 2 EHU pitches but on arrival we were shown the area where the hook ups were which is basically behind a barn in the farmyard.
There was already 2 tents pitched and absolutely no way A VW camper and go pod would fit. Disappointing. We ended up pitched on the main field which was not flat and had plenty of holes to navigate around.
2 toilets in the field which had plenty of toilet roll and antibacterial wipes and regularly cleaned. However there was a huge group of people next to us which grew as the day went on, nearly surrounding us. They were no bother at all but not really our thing, prefer space and a bit of privacy.
Great walks from the campsite, fire pits and picnic tables dotted around the field. This is unfortunately a mixed review.
I would recommend staying elsewhere if you require hook up. If not, give it a go, the views and walks directly from the site are worth it.

Brilliant as usual,
Other campers not so well behaved but nothing to do with the owners,
It was great to see how busy they are in the circumstances and we will definitely be back soon!

Lovely campsite, with marvellous views and a stream near by.
The toilets were very clean and well maintained plus the shower got nice and hot.
Campsite owner was very prompt with answering emails and very helpful.
We will certainly return.

First time here but now our favourite.
No play slides, bar, shops or cheesy entertainment.
It's a little, no frills camp site with firm ground for real campers which is blessed with amazing views and walks.
Very basic amenities but which work and are maintained.
Site is mainly sloped with a few level spots.
Pitching rules arent overly strict which allows you to make your plot your own.
Gillian and Chris are very friendly and will help with any issues.
9 stars from us.
Only 1 star missing for the slope but that's the countryside for you.
See you all soon
Thanks
David and kids

Really not suitable for caravans or motorhomes. Very steep incline to get in. Bottomed sons caravan and had to take it off car and use mover.
Beautiful area. But wouldn’t recommend to caravaners.

Lovely site, stunning views! It was really enjoyable to have a walk and meet the animals. The owner Gill is very lovely and approachable, we had a loud group next to us and she immediately offered to have a word. If you want to camp with loud music and shout at each other-this is not the site for you!
Considering the price this site is definitely value for money, plus it has a lovely feel to it, I’d recommend this site if you want to get away from city life and relax!

Beautiful view. The children loved feeding the animals with Gill.
Facilities were basic - but clean - which is what is important, and we didn't expect anything more.
Good vfm.

Fantastic location. Lovely farm and family running it. The perfect place if you want to see donkeys in the morning, chickens and ducks around the yard and semi tame sheep wanting a pat.
The camping field is not very flat. Get there early if you want the best spots.
Also no EHU in the main camping field. We would go again.
