 Lovely place to stay, very relaxed and welcoming. The owner Gill is lovely and helpful. My children loved the freedom of running around, exploring the farm and seeing all the different animals.
Definitely be back again. Hidden gem. Just don't tell anyone else 😉

Basic campsite but kept very clean. Two toilets on the fields were cleaned regularly and there were additional toilets and a shower on the main farmyard.
Some slopes in places on the field as expected with farms but we were able to find flat spots to pitch the tent. Gill was very welcoming and took time out to introduce herself and advise where the shower was etc
Clean facilities, friendly staff. Will come back for another weekend.

We absolutely loved our time at the Big Hillsdale Farm.
Gillian & Chris made us feel very welcome.
The view from the caravan is outstanding. Our daughter really enjoyed helping out in the farm.
We will definitely be going back.

I couldn’t recommend Big Hillsdale Farm enough! Clean facilities. Extremely welcoming and accommodating Hosts.
The views were stunning, particularly at sunset and fire pits were kindly available to loan.
Cute farm animals roaming around to say hello to. We went for a joint birthday celebration and had a wonderful time.
We look forward to visiting again.

Lovely little site, with really pleasant, helpful and easygoing staff who attract similar clientele.
Facilities are basic, but clean and maintained.

Great campsite, no frills just a really relaxed atmosphere in a stunning location. Great walks from the site,
Friendly owners that leave you to it and the facilities though very basic were kept clean despite there being loads of people turn up to camp out of the blue.

Great site with basic facilities, toilet block in the field was only cleaned once a day to our knowledge, perhaps more frequent cleaning needed in light of covid.
The kids loved the donkeys although they did bite one of our group so be aware!
Beautiful surroundings, easy going laid back owners who were around if we needed anything. Only one shower for the site but was clean.
Love the fact we could have a proper campfire with fire pits provided by the owners.
Would return! Thank you
