The upside; Fabulous location, plenty of space between pitches, good facilities, a couple of walks to be found from this site. Dog friendly.
The downside; sorry nothing to report, unless not immediate pub that I found in walking distance, cafe on site.

Fantastic location, great for walking, water sports and fishing right from the site. Stunning scenery. That's the good bit.
Toilets were not cleaned regularly, loo bins overflowing and half the cubicles closed off even though there is no requirement for this now.
The site staff are brilliant and very helpful but the site owner looks like he only wants to do the minimum effort.
This is a Camping and Caravanning Club site. You expect better. I think the CCC need to have a word with the owner.

With exclusive access to the Loch Ness shore, friendly staff and modern facilities this place has a lot going for it.
Thirteen and a half quid for a backpacker spot if you must know.
It was a surprise that the new facilities block only has to men's loos and I now know how the ladies have been treated by architects for eternity.
A more serious issue is that the staff are not pro-active in keeping the noise down - if they simply walked round at 11pm or even midnight they could defuse a lot of problems. As it was I was camped next to a boozed up sweary tent having a blazing shouted row until 01.30, with musical accompaniment from U2.
Otherwise the customer service was excellent, but if you can't sleep in a place, it sticks in the mind.

We came here the year the site opened, when it was nearly empty. This time it was full, but still felt quiet and relaxed. A lovely place with beautiful views.
Facilities block is clean, well kept and high quality. There's a café/bar and a shop too. Helpful and friendly staff. We only stayed one night but have resolved to stay longer in future.
There are comments in other reviews about access. I can't speak for caravans, but there's no real problem in a motorhome.
The road on the east side of Loch Ness is indeed narrow, winding and steep in parts. But you just need to take your time and go slowly, as on many isolated Highland roads.
It's worth it when you arrive!

Large site with windy road to get down to.
Onsite facilities are good and clean and staff are friendly.
I would say the site is on the costly side for what and where it is, but apart from that it is lovely.

Great site with fantastic facilities and friendly staff. The location goes without saying as fantastic.
If you are in a longer motorhome or towing the route from Inverness is better than Fort Augustus, but it is worth the effort!

Site located directly by South side of Loch Ness in remote location. Access road single track with passing places 22 miles from Fort Augustus (45/50 minute travel in large unit!) and similar distance with equal narrow road issues from Inverness?
However having battled the narrow road the site is very nice with modern amenities. Very friendly and helpful staff and a well-stocked shop including daily papers. The site has two levels, the lower level having easy access to the toilets, reception and shop – but no Loch views, the higher having the views, but a bit of a trek to the toilets etc. No 3G/4G phone reception and Wi-Fi limited to the reception area, plans are in place to extend the service.
Large hardstanding and grass pitches, each EHU points have water.
Plenty of woodland walks directly from site and direct access for kayaks/boats on Loch from site.
Overall nice site, but it is in a very isolated location.
