Stayed here for half term week and very disappointed. We were packed in like sardines. There were children running amuck without any adult supervision. At one point I was supervising my daughter in the park and there were about 25 children in there - I was the only adult in there looking after my daughter.

We were kept up late with noise and in the end we left a day early as we couldn't wait to get out of there - definitely won't be going back.

Just come back from Home Farm. Spent 4 nights UB 40 tribute band weekend, had a fab time. All facilities very clean, lovely clubhouse, takeaway food. Good service from staff. Heated indoor pool outdoor pool park for children. Been here loads of times will be returning next year.

Stayed at this camp for the first time in March 2013 and we keep coming back. Have stayed in our tourer and also hired statics (the statics are a bit expensive but they really are deluxe). We have already stayed 7 or 8 times this year and have booked a further 3 stays as we really enjoy it here (they also offer a 'stay 6 weekends and get another weekend for free for tourers'). Good access to the site, no worrying about meeting a caravan coming in the opposite direction. Level hardstanding pitches as well as some grass pitches. Can be rather boggy when it rains but this camp is set on the Somerset Plains so you have to expect this. The pitches are a fair size and there is an allocated area for pets. The toilet and shower blocks are well maintained and continuously cleaned throughout the day so don't be put off by the colour of the water in the loos, as they use recycled water to flush. Small shop on site which sells the essentials, good clubhouse with reasonably priced food and drink, and live bands. The entertainment staff do an excellent job of amusing kids and adults alike, with dancing and games for the little ones and bingo and quizzes for the grown ups before the main attraction comes onto the stage at around 9. 30pm. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools although the outside one really could do with some heating as it is far too cold to use, which is a shame as it is a lovely pool. There is the option to extend your booking out time to 6. 00pm on your last day (provided there is space) which comes in handy if you've been enjoying the clubhouse the night before. We have recommended this camp to all our friends and family and they keep going back too.

Just been to this site for our second visit have to say we have had a great holiday, toilets and showers clean and warm, variety of entertainment, easy access to lots of tourist spots. Pleasant staff especially the security staff opening doors for us as (our son had his leg in plaster so was using wheelchair. ) fishing was great. Will use this site again, food has improved greatly since our first visit 3 years ago. Can't wait to go again.

Stayed here for the Easter Bank Hol week, great site with good family activities, 3rd visit to the site and booked again for June would say one thing that the music from the club house is very loud at night but apart from that all good

Food & Toilets all good, Love the security of the site. Very close to some good attractions including Cheddar Gorge, Bream and much more great place to use on trip to cornwall to break up the journey as they allow you to arrive late

I had read mixed reviews about this site HOWEVER it really just goes to show you should experience everything yourself.

PLEASED WITH

- Hard stand pitches had lots of space, and good space between neighbours

- Everything was well signposted

- Shower facilities were excellent, huge shower rooms and free

- Club house - alcohol and food reasonably priced, food was not gastro quality but more than acceptable for what we were paying. They also had numerous screens to watch the sport on

- Leisure center - fantastic! Sauna, steam room and jacuzzi plus pool. You could pay for all the elements separately but we paid £5 per adult to use them all for a couple of hours (we were the only ones in there)

COULD HAVE DONE BETTER

- A heads up that the supermarket was closed at present

- Slightly bigger dog walking area

BE AWARE OF.

- The railway line is close so you do here the train every hour

Overall, the site catered well for our needs - will defo come back in low season again, maybe stretch to mid. It cost us £26 to stay for 2 nights and I have not met that value for money any where else lately.

We visited this site again for the 3rd time and it just confirmed what we already knew. A really good site, good facilities and brilliant location. We arrived and as always we got a friendly welcome. We were shown to a choice of pitches by a helpful young man and the pitch was a good size, nice, flat and well kept as always. In terms of how commercial the site is, I we have always found that it is a nice balance between there being stuff going on but it not being as in your face as some larger sites we have been to. As we have been to this site previously we have done most of the local places of interest so this time we decided to drive down in to Dorset and have a look at some of the beaches there. It was about 1 hour 10 to get there but I could not recommend doing this highly enough – Lyme Regis is a must for a lovely beach and a nice walk round the town. The facilities on this site are great. We went in to the on site club most nights and always found it pleasant. Our children are older now but there is plenty early on for the younger children and whilst the evening adult entertainment is not always of the highest standard it is certainly no worse than we have seen on other similar sites. The food available in the club is great quality and real value for money – we are eating for around £25 for 4 of us. The wash facilities are a little bit rough round around the edges but always clean and always available so I had absolutely no issue with this. The one part of our holiday that was tarnished was the fact that we were directly behind the loudest family on the site. I have to say though, from walking round the site this was the exception to the rule and everyone else seemed to be very well behaved and pleasant. One of the biggest plus points to this site is the location. We drove down during heavy rain and high winds so I was grateful of the fact that it is literally less than a mile off the M5. Perfect if you want to get out and about while you are there or for a stopover en route to somewhere a bit further down like Cornwall. Overall, a really good site and each time we have stayed we have had a lovely break. Would recommend but might not suit everyone.

Stayed at this site for 2 nights at the end of spring bank half term. We picked the site as we were en route to cornwall and wanted somewhere close to the M5 which this is.

It had rained heavily for several days prior to our arrival so mud is to be expected but many of the pitches including ours had dips in the middle where most of the use is. It was very muddy! Staff in the shop were very helpful in providing cardboard boxes for us to put down though.

Reception staff very friendly and we were shown to a selection of pitches to pick.

Kids went in the outdoor pool but it was very cold. The indoor pool was good but this has a charge - it would have been nice to have been able to access the jacuzzi whilst the kids were in the pool!

The toilets and showers seemed very dirty all the time we were there. Not sure if this is because the site was so busy.

Pitches were very close together and there was quite a bit of noise from the road and nearby train line.

The playgrounds were good but full of wild children way past dark swearing and tearing around. My children felt intimidated by them.

All in all an ok site for a stop over but I won't return, it was too crowded, not clean enough and the wild children put us off.

I have stayed in Burnham/Brean area on different sites for the last 23 years but this is my first stay at Home Farm. I arrived Friday night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The weather was dull but warm but recent rain had made the grass pitches very boggy. I was shown to a relatively dry pitch but it still had deep tyre holes on it. Thankfully I didn't have an awning so I could avoid these. The pitch seemed a little small and very close to the neighbours.

All facilities were serviceable. The toilet block was old but adequate. There were complaints about the dirty stains on porcelain but I think they recycle rain water for flushing so no complaints from me. The clubhouse and entertainment was also dated but adequate. There were problems with the amusement arcade machines and the attendant couldn't speak English. Very frustrating. I didn't use the pool or gym but enjoyed a good couple of hours on the fishing pond catching carp and bream. To sum up: It's a bit dated but still a very good campsite.

Stayed here over the Easter period arrived on a Friday Stayed till Wednesday on arrival I was shown to my pitch, the site was very busy and full, the toilet block was a bit of a let down although clean' with the showers there was no place to sit or to put your clothes and every thing got wet.

Plenty of things to do with a nice a complex and pool
